  1. 1. Should there be a cutscene created to fix this plot hole?

    • Yes, there should be a cutscene to fix this plot hole.

    • No - a cutscene isn't necessary or I don't define this as a plot hole

So, has anyone besides me ever wondered why Darth Sion is not only Korriban when he seems to have no reason to be there,  but happens to know you're there. It seems like a such a stupid and glaring plot hole and yet, very few people have noticed it. Well, I have a solution to this plot hole.

Simply add this scene right before you enter Korriban, but replace the exile with Vash. Then it could appear that he went there to capture Vash( having a purpose to be there before the Exile even arrives) and use her as bate to get the Exile. I think this is a good idea and could make for a good mod for someone to make. I'm wondering what you guys think? ( Also, yes I know this was originally intended for M4-78, but it has no purpose there. This scene could finally be used)

Many thanks to Sith Holocron for helping me out with this idea on Reddit.

I.... had not thought of that before you pointed it out

And this would indeed be a good idea. But I wonder how it would work if a player chose M4 in addition to TSLRCM

@134340Goat Yeah, a lot of people I talk to don't really notice it, when imo, it is somewhat glaring. I think it could still work. We could just assume that Vash and Kaah escaped without the Sith noticing and they could still be looking for them.

There is no plot holes in SW, only the force

But seriously, just fill in the holes yourself, its pretty self explanatory (probably why most people have no issue with it)

@Haveup I've tried to fill in the holes, but I think it's just a plot hole. Just my opinion.

Like I said, those movies of Sion and Nihilus on Malachor were quite old, we do not really know what they were up to behind the scenes... but is it not a possibility that in their version of events, he was hunting down another Jedi master of whom you find freshly killed in a cell or in the M478-EP, she just escaped his grips as you arrive... it's more than plausible

I haven't played TSL in a while, but this could be nice to add an even deeper story telling element to the game. Good suggestion ;)

Simply add this scene right before you enter Korriban, but replace the exile with Vash.

How is that simple? :P That would require splicing a new voice over, and Sion never says Vash. Barely anyone in the game does.

Nar Shaddaa, actually, unless by "originally intended" you mean intended by people who made the first M4-78 mod.

And it's not really a stretch to assume that either Sion travels between different Sith worlds for whatever reason, or just goes to random places looking for you. The latter is kind of confirmed in Vash's cut dialog, she says the Sith "came here looking for the last of the Jedi".

He wouldn't neccesarily have to say "Vash", he could just say, "Does she live?" (Poster placed emphasis on she.)

I believe he means to suggest replacing the character model of the Exile with Vash's character model - in the hologram he's looking at the start of the video.

@zbyl2 As Sith Holocron said, you'd just have to replace the exile with Vash. Also, as Domino555 said, if Sion says he in this situation, then there should be a file or something where he says she.

I haven't watched the video, just assumed he meant to replace a word in a line itself with "Vash". But yeah, that changes things, there is, in fact, a "she" version of that line.

If Sion says he in this situation, then there should be a file or something where he says she.

Here are the names of the sound files for Sion that could properly reflect a description of Vash.

907sioncut1001: "I did not summon you."

907sioncut1002: "Does she live?"

907sioncut1003: "Prepare my ship. I will attend to this myself."

However, on second thought it wouldn't make sense for Sion watches a holo of Vash and then ask if she lives. With that in mind, a reordering of the scene is necessary.

- Sion meditates.

- Sith Assassin approaches. Sion says "I did not summon you."

- Sith Assassin says something his incomprehensible speech. Sion says "Does she live?"

- Sith Assassin then shows Sion a hologram of Vash. (Perhaps Sith Assassin says something else.)

- Sion nods and says "Prepare my ship. I will attend to this myself" and walks off as usual. Fade to black.

I still think you are beating a dead horse with this one

I personally don't care if it goes in or not. I merely consider it an exercise in how you could do it not whether it should be done.

@Domino5555 No problem dude

@Zbyl2 See, it could work.

@Sith Holocron Yeah, that sounds good man. The hologram wouldn't really be needed now that I think of it.

@Haveup It's just an idea to fix a plot hole. Will something come out of it, I don't know.

Actually you do need the hologram. If you don't, you don't know who he's referring to. It would be especially confusing if you had a female Exile.

@Sith Holocron Ok, my bad, I guess I just misread what you said. It could add a bit of ambiguity though as to who he was actually referring to( The exile if female, Kreia, Vash). Could make people think about he's referring to. Just a thought (and probably a dumb one).

Replacing a "plot hole" with such an ambiguity seems counter productive.

Personally, Sion just *happening* to be on Korriban always bugged me.

He would have to have known that the Exile stole Atris' database, and then also know it included a list of the Jedi masters. However, to draw the Exile into a trap, he would also have needed to know that they were looking for the Jedi which would include Vash.

So, I agree it would actually be much better to say Sion was looking for Jedi to (I don't know, attack?), and that Vash was his next target.

I imagine that the player will be right into selecting Korriban, preparing to meet Vash, when suddenly, a cutscene shows on-screen where Sion it turns out is also going there for essentially the same purpose. Maybe the player might actually be trying to stop Kreia's speeches because of their concern for Vash, and not because they're just impatient. :/
