Either he got served a C&D (which I highly doubt as Apeiron hasn't got one yet) or he followed the advise given to him by some comments and will complete this in secret before trying to release it and getting a lot of attention. It would probably prevent him from releasing anything publicly. But videos? But he did import the geometry, yes. Or did the guy just remake areas for fun and doesn't actually intend to remake the game? I don't know what's going on because the OP was removed, so I'm wondering.
