How do I NOT Record These Sounds in SWTOR?

You'll hear these sound in order - one right after another - in this video.

 

 

Annoying Sound #1 is the one that plays when you've completed a mission.

 

Annoying Sound #2 is when you've gained a level.

 

What settings in Preferences should I set in order to NOT record those particular sounds?

I don't think you have that level of granularity. You could presumably drop the SFX volume down to zero to knock them out, but that would kill everything else like weapon sounds, etc.

Perhaps if you could identify the sound files, you could replace them with blank ones?

That would require unpacking the game files (possible), searching through thousands of randomly named soundfiles and then packing the game files again (not sure if that's possible), so I doubt this is a possibility.

What Kexikus said.  Unfortunately, it's not as simple as replacing a file in Override like in KOTOR.

 

I don't think it's that much of a hardship.  Don't worry about it, guys.
