Quanon 263 Posted February 14, 2017 Love the work you've done so far! Thanks ^^ I haven't done much last week, but I worked a little on the other piggies; mainly the blue one. Started to add a few details on him, so he looks a bit more different. I do need fix a few seam issues, on both the reskins though. It's very obvious on the top of his head
superSzym 155 Posted February 14, 2017 Thanks RedRob; I just didn't know what was going on Shame though they split up the UVmap on his upper lip. I tried to get it to look like his bottom lip, but it just doesn't work really well. The UVs are scaled differently so it creates very obvious seams. So, it remains a dark upper lip, "painted" on permanent shadow for grandpa Jolee. Did a test run in the game, it looks OK so far. This question is maybe a bit off-topic, but where did these long robes come from?
Canderis 180 Posted February 14, 2017 It looks a lot better but the wrinkles on his face still look really low quality. Kinda clashes from the other detail.
Quanon 263 Posted February 22, 2017 A few pages back I was working on the Twi'leks, Green one and Orange ladies where done. So I had an idea for the lighter yellow alien hotness. I feel I've reached a certain... uhm... Skyrim mod vibe with this one Skimpy pimp stuff. Anyhow, a preview of sorts; mind I've only done basic work. Finding a good layout. Bit trial and error on the body suit style. Needs extra details... More work like always! The head skin is done by Cache71. I'm matching the body to it, so people can easily mix up our mods. As she already released a set, but I like the idea people can choose favourite outfits. No fear, old man Jolee hasn't been forgotten. But the Twi'lek had more appeal than the underwear of that old coot
Lawkmt3 17 Posted February 22, 2017 Too raunchy for me, but I can see how Jolee's shorts would be unappealing for people.
jc2 581 Posted February 22, 2017 It looks awesome, I kinda get a mortal kombat vibe from it ^^ *FINISH HIM*
Revanator 60 Posted February 22, 2017 Any way you (or someone) could adjust the model for the Twi'lek dancers? The way it looks in-game always bothered me, like they were wearing body paint. There was no dimension to it.
milestails 264 Posted February 23, 2017 Damn.
VarsityPuppet 1,085 Posted February 23, 2017 Any way you (or someone) could adjust the model for the Twi'lek dancers? The way it looks in-game always bothered me, like they were wearing body paint. There was no dimension to it. Some people are into that
Revanator 60 Posted February 23, 2017 Some people are into that True, but it doesn't fit with the other dancers we see in other material.
Quanon 263 Posted February 23, 2017 Too raunchy for me, but I can see how Jolee's shorts would be unappealing for people. Yeah, it's not subtle >_> I think I could do a cleaner version of what I have in mind. Any way you (or someone) could adjust the model for the Twi'lek dancers? The way it looks in-game always bothered me, like they were wearing body paint. There was no dimension to it. Are you talking about the dance animations/ moves? Or the look of the models? Haven't done much on it today; just added in clasps/ buttons to the straps. Played around with some rendering stuff in 3Ds Max. She's been hit with a hammer, really odd look
Dark Hope 1,444 Posted February 24, 2017 A good idea. Elegant looks. I have corrected the joint necklace around his neck.
Quanon 263 Posted February 24, 2017 Did a few extra tweaks. Had a test in the game. Having an idea on what a more "clean" version of this outfit could look like. But first I need to finish this one. Just feel it lacks a few extras. It's a bit too much a one piece thing. Falls flat. how to upload multiple photos
Guest Posted February 24, 2017 Yeah it just looks like a bad Tex ATM, maybe you could give the clothes a texture shine?
Revanator 60 Posted February 25, 2017 Tbh they should probably all be wearing bikinis to match the aesthetic in places like Jabba's Palace. You could try one outfit in the Oola style.
Lawkmt3 17 Posted February 26, 2017 Instead of the word 'clean' I'd say refined. Sometimes what is concealed can be more effective than what is shown.
Quanon 263 Posted February 26, 2017 Ever so slowly, adding and tweaking things. There hasn't been major changes. I did take my skin for a spin in the game. Tatooine has some harsh bright lighting. It does make the yellow pop a bit much. I might take the skin for a tour on Manaan or the Unknown world. Those have a more blue/ white sunlight. I am having a hard time on whether to choose to dump the hexa pattern or keep it... It works and at other times it looks too noisy in the game? Hmmm... Keep it or lose it?
Guest Posted February 26, 2017 I think it looks noisy, however if it was to... Say have the skirt flap from the unused Jedi model in the center it would look so much better. That's why it looks better from the side when it already looks like a long skirt piece.
Revanator 60 Posted February 28, 2017 I'd ditch the leggins and make it a skirt, yeah.
Fair Strides 509 Posted February 28, 2017 I actually really like that hexa pattern, Q. If it looks too noisy, you could try making the hexes 1.5x or 2.5x bigger or smaller and see how the pattern looks then.
Durin's Bane 4 Posted March 12, 2017 Well, I always liked the movie masks waaaaay more then the series aphosis snake thing. It's a shame they never used the Anubis mask. Once I get the neck and shoulder armour ready, it shouldn't be too difficult to add different heads. Anyways, I wasn't in the mood today for all this curvy business; so I did the last tweaks on the Bandon reskin. I've added in the helmet, to show the complete outfit. It's shaping up nicely. I'll do my best to do a set that's closer to the colors of the Bandon armour Please tell me you are still working on this. it's the coolest thing i've ever seen. Quanon 263 Posted March 12, 2017 The skin and helmet are more or less done... I just need to setup the TSLpatcher file and a few scripts. But it's been ages since I did anything with these tools, so my memory is foggy on how to proceed >_> Plus my bad habit of jumping around from one little project to another. Perhaps I should just release "Quanons junkpile" as a mod
Fair Strides 509 Posted March 13, 2017 Q: If you want to take a weekend to look at all your junk and sort it into various stages of completion, I could help you with the stuff that needs an installer.
Quanon 263 Posted March 14, 2017 Made a short video showing my Malachor reskin pack with an updated skybox. Thanks to Kexikus, for a better looking cloudscape. The difference is huge!Other small bits have been adjusted, fog and mountain peaks. But the clouds are the main and biggest change, of course! The lightning seen in the vid below is done by a mod from Sith Holocron.
