Bugs and minor inconveniences with TSLRCM 1.8

Probably Goto's Overhaul.

So I guess no party vs. Kreia scene either then?

 

I did get the first scene after the exile entered the Academy, but once the remote gets to the fourth console, I get the scene with bao-dur, but then it stops there, and goto never walks into the ship(although he is present). Basically I get to float around with the remote, as if I haven't yet used the last terminal.

Since there is no troubleshoot no matter where I look for my problem, I have registered here to ask. I have the Steam version of KOTOR TSL

 

I installed the game, then installed the mod from http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/197-tsl-restored-content-mod/?st=20#commentsStart

 

I go to start up a new game, and after the character creation, I stare at the loading screen. No bar movement, nothing.

 

I figured its a big mod so I'd let it run. Left it on for an hour, no movement. The version running is 2.2.0.0 is there a problem with the 1.8.2 mod running on this version, or is there just an overall problem that I have no clue how to fix.

 

Any answers would be appreciated. I never got to try the restored content, I wanted to play it eagerly and the minute I start it up, it decides to give me the one-finger salute.

This is the first mod I've used on KOTOR TSL

 

Only used mods on KOTOR 1 so far.

 

EDIT June 7: Still not working. Tried re-installing both again.

 

EDIT: I got it to work! I had to turn steam into Offline mode, then reinstall the mod. (I followed the steps, I had the update turned off) Only worked when I reinstalled the mod in Offline mode.

just encountered a small bug(atleast i think it is), when u go into the base on telos with bao dur and/or keia/atton, when u escort the czerka employee kreia gives me the whole talk about i shouldnt help others. Yet on my first playthrough bao dur got the influence and kreia didnt lose any.

 

current mods installed: tslrcm 1.8.2, m478ep, Korriban expansion, expanded workbench, expanded merchants.

It triggers the Light Side "Random" influence. Kreia has a higher priority than Bao-Dur. So that's normal behavior.

Guess Kreia was too far away for it to count her your first time...

also, I'm not an active forum correspondant, so please excuse if this entry is blunderous in whole or in part.

 

the quest is "High Stakes" on Telos.  when you speak to Doton Het at the cantina, tell him you don't have the money and return to Harra.  He will suggest you contact the exchange to elicit mercy from Het, however no conversation option appears and combat is inevitable with no quest advancement from either Slusk or Luxa.

oh, I also meant to thank you for the work on TSLRCM.  the game was an addictive masterpiece even in it's crippled xbox form, which left me wanting more (so I beat it a few times ;), so it's gratifying to have a new version to explore.

Your link doesn't work.
I'm not quite sure what your issue is from your description.

As far as I know there are no more issues remaining in the "High Stakes" questline.
Though I am kinda confused about 'combat is inevitable' considering there isn't a single way you can even have combat during this side-quest (getting Ramana back).

Hopefully people still look in this thread and can help me out. I'm experiencing a very odd and possibly gamebreaking glitch. Whenever I see a cut-scene taking place somewhere else (such as the Harbinger and Darth Sion on Peragus when you are outside in the space suit) I am then teleported to that location when the cut-scene ends. That time I managed to get out of it pretty easily and eventually my game worked itself out, but I skipped the entire Dorm section and went right back to the confrontation with the HK-50 droid.

The big issue I just encountered, and the one that concerns me, was that I just got onto Telos and while going to get my equipment from the security office I gained a final lightside point to trigger Visas' cut-scene, but when it finished my party was teleported to the ship Nihilus is on at the end of the game, the only way I could get out was to warp back to somewhere on Telos using cheats. The first time I did this I spawned near the end of the game with Sith attacking and Mandalorians on the base as well, the second time I warped back to the apartments where you start on Telos and everything is okay now but I worry if I may have triggered flags and made my game unfinishable.

I have the official Patch, TSLRCM 1.8.2 (newest one), M4-78EP (the compatible one), Handmaiden for females, Disciple for males (said it was compatible with latest RCM version, and Workbench name crystal attunement. Anyone have any ideas or any way to check at all?

Handmaiden doesn't work with M4-78EP.

None of the listed mods would break our scripts that teleport you back though... so are you sure that's all?

I only have those 4 installed plus the official patch. So far I haven't encountered the glitch again, is there any way to check/reset the flags for the game to make sure I didn't screw something up?

This will work for the booleans. I really should get around to doing the  Numbers, but it's so much repeated typing...

Hmm i noticed a curious bug when playing the game with the mod installed 

During the nar shadda mission the screen blacks out after i choose the two party members that will board the ship 

I only managed to bypass it by uninstalling the mod

I seem to have a slight problem when doing the lightsaber duelling: Visas is defending herself with what she thinks is a lightsaber, but her hands are actually empty. Ever had that bug? Could that be linked with VP's "unmasked" Visas mod?

I believe it's engine issue, I've had such bugs with other characters.

Yeah, certain saber colors tend to do that (like purple).

No clue how to fix that or it would have been fixed... :/

Typo time: speaking to G0-T0 about his droid capabilities. Something like "I well be sure to let the other droids know about how fat you are." This would be "I will"

I've encountered a game breaking bug.  On Malachor, Mira says she wants to fire a rocket at Kreia.  When she finishes talking, the game crashes.  I've never had this problem before.  The only major changes I can think of are that I'm now running 1.8.2 and using a Nvidia card instead of an ATI.  Here's my system info:

"Now running 1.8.2". Should we assume you started your game with 1.8.1 and somewhere along your game, installed 1.8.2 (using a save from previous version)?

Specifically, I meant the last time I played through the game, I was running 1.8.1.   This time I'm running 1.8.2 and I started from a save from 1.8.1 right before leaving Peragus.
