Spoiler-Free Description: Nobody likes to see a group project go to waste! This mod allows you to repair your speeder once and for all upon completing the Nar Shaddaa main story, and restores some of Obsidian's original game dialogue along the way. Rather than being told that the speeder has been sabotaged beyond your ability to repair, you will be told specifically which part that you installed needs to be replaced, and given an opportunity to find it at a location made available towards the end of the Nar Shaddaa main story (for the exact location, see step #8 of the full walkthrough provided below or attached images). This mod restores original dialogue for certain party members, and the opportunity to gain/lose influence with them as you see fit. You should install TSLRCM prior to installing this mod. For an existing game, use a save file made before visiting Nar Shaddaa for the first time (this mod won't affect any areas of the game you have already been to). Full Description (Contains Spoilers): Installation: Download the 7z file and extract to somewhere on your computer that is easy to find. 7z files can be extracted with Archive Utility on macOS, or with free programs like PeaZip on Windows and Linux. For full compatibility and your own personal convenience, this mod comes with an installer which comes highly recommended. Simply run the installer, and direct it to your TSLRCM installation. For Steam installations, direct the installer to "Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\208580\485537937", and not the main game folder with the executable. The installer is an executable file that can be run natively on Windows or with free programs like Wine on other platforms. If for whatever reason you have trouble with the installer, open the "Manual Installation" folder and follow the instructions of the ReadMe file inside. Uninstallation: Follow the instructions within the ReadMe pertaining to your installation method. Compatibility: Users should expect full compatibility with any other mods, so long as they make no modifications to any airspeeder-related files or affect the new airspeeder cameras for other purposes (automatic installation) or replace the included files installed manually. Requires TSLRCM 1.8.3 or higher. Modifications (Automatic Installation): Modifications (Manual Installation): Full Walkthrough (Contains Spoilers): Acknowledgments: Big thanks to Fred Tetra for KotORTool and Cortisol for the Holocron Toolset for making file extraction, module editing, and .mod file building easy, Fair Strides for the DLG Editor, JdNoa and Dashus for simple script decompiling with DeNCS, Blue for the KotOR Script Editor, and to Stoffe and Fair Strides for easy .mod extraction with ERFEdit, and for making inter-mod compatibility infinitely more feasible with TSLPatcher. It really does take a village to make one speeder fly. Have a bug to report? Visit this mod's "Get Support" page and let me know! View File Logical Jekk'Jekk Tarr A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic II Author: N-DReW25 1.0.0 Release Date: 27.07.2025 Installation: Please install The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod 1.8.6 FIRST, no exceptions! It is highly advised to install the KOTOR 2 Community Patch before this mod, this is optional. This mod is divided into two parts, you need to install "Part 1" first followed by "Part 2" to properly install the mod. Click on the HoloPatcher.exe, select on the "Part 1" install, click install and sit back and watch the HoloPatcher do its magic. Repeat the process, click on the HoloPatcher.exe, this time select on the "Part 2" install, click install and sit back and watch the HoloPatcher do its magic. The mod will be installed. Description: In both vanilla and with TSLRCM, the Jekk'Jekk Tarr is quite illogical. It is a mythical bar in which drinks are not served. Instead, you breathe the fumes - and these fumes are toxic to humans. The gas inside the Jekk'Jekk Tarr is so toxic that the gas would kill you if it was absorbed through the skin. This is shown in-game, you collapse to the ground and almost die before you learn the Breath Control ability which grants you immunity to all poison based damage. The illogical part comes into play before the Visquis mission, you can enter the Jekk'Jekk Tarr with your entire party of humans and... survive? You get poisoned if you are in there, but this is the good ol' Kotor poison which turns your health bar green and SLOWLY withers away at your heatlh over time - a breath mask or an antidote kit can keep you alive indefinitely inside the Jekk'Jekk Tarr. Okay, so maybe you aren't supposed to enter the Jekk'Jekk Tarr early, right? Wrong. Aliens inside the Jekk'Jekk Tarr have dialogue for if you are wearing a space suit (Mira) or if you aren't wearing a space suit (the player), and there are only two times when you can enter the Jekk'Jekk Tarr without a space suit: during the Visquis mission wherein you murder all of these aliens without talking to them, or before the Visquis mission if you enter early. If any part of Kotor II screams "incomplete" - it's the Jekk'Jekk Tarr. I personally have a feeling the concept of a poisonous cantina for aliens as a plot point was devised after the GenoHaradan got cut and was thrown together at the last minute. Why do I believe this? The Devaronian Bartender states that the first chamber is for the Trandoshans and Devaronians (he is the only Devaronian in that room and Twi'leks and Rodians are also in there) whilst the side room is for Twi'leks, Weequay, and the Nikto (Only a single Twi'lek Domo is in there, he never talks about the Rodians, and the Lunar Shadow crew state that Nikto, like humans, would die in the Jekk'Jekk Tarr). The Weequay with proper dialogue will reference piercing your space suit even if you're talking to him before the Visquis mission as the player character and aren't wearing a space suit. Heck, even in TSLRCM, restored dialogue with the Twi'lek Domo suggests that drinks can be served even though the bartender explicitly states that there are no drinks. This mod aims to fix many of the problems with the Jekk'Jekk Tarr, this mod makes the Jekk'Jekk Tarr "logical" by doing the following: * The Jekk'Jekk Tarr uses Nagnol gas instead of a mix of Nagnol and Cyanogen Cas. Nagnol gas would instantly kill a human, but the Peragus lore which states the player character has been trained to resist toxins justifies why you don't drop dead instantly. You instead get the poison effect which slowly kills you if you enter the Jekk'Jekk Tarr before the Visquis mission. * Replaces the Jekk'Jekk Tarr Rodians with Nikto and turns the Lunar Shadow Crew from Nikto into Duros. This is consistent with the Devaronian Bartender who mentions that Nikto can enter the Jekk'Jekk Tarr, and since a major Bounty Hunter Faction is made up of Duros, the Zhug Brothers, it makes sense this way lore wise as to why they would attack your party and not the Jekk'Jekk Tarr. * Repositioned the Lunar Shadow Crew so that they're less janky. * The filename for the Twi'leks wearing armor is "aquabar" whilst "aquathug" is an unfinished dialogue that mentions that "aqua" means "Aqualish". The Aqualish have been restored in the same room as the Weequays and are now mentioned by the Devaronian Bartender. * The Twi'leks wearing armor are now Devaronians as the Devaronian Bartender states that the room they are in are for Trandoshans and Twi'leks. * Moved the Trandoshans, Twi'lek turned Devaronians, and Rodians turned Nikto into the correct rooms as designated by the Devaronian Bartender. * The Trandoshan and Aqualish dialogues have been split into two. One set of Trandoshans/Aqualish have barking dialogue whilst the other have small conversations. * The Weequay with the small conversation dialogue will now only reference your space suit if you are Mira wearing said space suit. * The cut character Garagesh, a Gamorrean Guard, has been restored outside Visquis' lair. * Restored Visquis' cut dialogue, dialogue which heavily implies that Loppak Slusk was his brother. * When Mira is zapped, that scene is unskippable. * Atton's dialogue after Visquis' conversation has been edited to remove most mentions of Cyanogen and how it targets the skin. * During the Visquis mission, Visquis' dialogue for when you enter the Jekk'Jekk Tarr without a space suit has been rewritten to specify that Visquis is flooding the door chamber with ten times the lethal level of Cyanogen gas - a gas in this mod is not present in the normal Jekk'Jekk Tarr, this is to explain why you can enter the Jekk'Jekk Tarr before the mission but almost die during the mission. I have the steam version. So I have a problem with the game where I'm at Nar Shaddaa and there's been a few threads on reddit with the same/similar problems, like here: https://www.reddit.com/r/kotor/comments/jv21or/entering_nar_shaddaa_docks_crashes_the_game/ https://www.reddit.com/r/kotor/comments/anrq98/crash_when_reaching_nar_shaddaa/ I couldn't get help and am wanting to know if anyone can help me fix this problem so that it doesn't crash? I only have 4 mods installed. The "TSL Restored Content Mod", the "Schematic Lightsaber Mod 2021", and "Remove Restrictions for Force Power by Armor" all 3 from deadlystream and 1 from nexusmods called "Movie Mandalorian" that gives me armor here. I'm wondering if anyone can help me with fixing my situation so that the game doesn't crash in this area, like when I talk to the npc "Hussef". The problem though is that the game even still crashes without any mods installed, so then I tried talking to him again it still crashed. I think the TSLRCM may have altered things in the game with npc behavior or something but I'm sure it shouldn't affect the game's dialogue or things to the npc. I even tried changing and reverting back from "Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1" or "Disable Vertex Buffer Obtions=1" to default "DisableVertexBufferObject=1" May anyone please help me here tell me the solution to fixing this problem? Thank you. If anyone can take my save and get pass the part with Hussef dialogue, I would appreciate it. Just talk to him and get passed the dialogue

Hello all. I've run into this problem numerous times in the past few years (seemingly since upgrading past Windows 7 years ago, maybe even an earlier version of Windows). When playing Kotor 2, I get to Nar Shaddaa and when I attempt to do the part where your party boards G0-T0's yacht, the game crashes. Now, to be clear, it crashes at the exact same point every time, which is just before your player character has the conversation with G0-T0's hologram (specifically at the loading screen just before this module). I've tried most of the usual suggestions, including toggling DisableVertexBufferOptions, using console commands to skip directly to that module (which crashes the game just the same as if I went through the conversation with the Sullustan and watched the setup videos), and various other options without any success. I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. Now, I do have mods installed, namely TSLRCM and Heroes of the Old Republic (which, I know can conflict in minor ways, however I've been able to use the two together to get through a playthrough in the past, so I know that's not the issue). However, I have also in the past tried deleting all mods besides TSLRCM and I still get the crash at the same spot. I even think it happens without any mods installed, though I can't remember the last time I tried that. I'm currently running the Steam version, though I've used the disc version as well and gotten the same issue both times, so I don't think it's that. Anyone have any suggestions? This is literally my favorite game, and I'm tired of having it break whenever I get to this accursed planet. Thanks in advance (and sorry for the long post, brain dump after a long day).

I'm crashing every time I try to go through the Nar Shadaa intro scene with Goto and the hunters. At first the crash occured as soon as the video of the outside of Goto's yacht ended. After I tried disabling shadows and frame buffer effects the scene began to go far enough that I can see Goto fly past the assembled hunters before it crashes. Switching from fullscreen to windowed had no effect. Threaded opt. is off. 1) During the game, when did the problem begin to occur? start of Nar Shadaa intro scene 2) Did you install the latest version of the mod? (1.8.3b and 1.1b respectively) RCM 1.83B and M4 1.1b 3) What version of the game do you have? (Steam, GOG, 4CD, KotOR Collection?) What region is the game designed for if it's the 4 CD version? 4 cd us patched to 1.0b 4) Did you update your game as required by your game's region? (4-CD version ONLY) yep 5) Did you install this over the previous version(s), or did you perform a fresh installation as required by the TSLRCM's read-me file? fresh 6) What other mods have you installed? Please give an accurate list and provide links to each of these mods - even if they are found on this site. (We don't actually know them all!.) At what point did it happen? I'm crashing every time I try to go through the Nar Shadaa intro scene with Goto and the hunters. At first the crash occured as soon as the video of the outside of Goto's yacht ended. After I tried disabling shadows and frame buffer effects the scene began to go far enough that I can see Goto fly past the assembled hunters before it crashes. Switching from fullscreen to windowed had no effect. Threaded opt. is off. 11) What Operating System do you use? (List Virtual Machines as well if you are using them.) Win 8.1 12) Can you confirm that you see the TSLRCM logo on the the main menu screen? Yep
