Not sure why the French version would miss this much, buy Zbyl goes over the installer. I do know 103PER is missing from the 1.7 installer, even with the english version though...
While that is true for the US version, non-US need 1.0a and 1.0b in order. Don't ask me why, that's how the patches work.
As for the issue, I have seen it before but no idea how it was fixed these instances. Updating your graphic drivers seem like the best bet.

And the second Kreia is because the first cutscene Kreia isn't properly removed (because the scene never triggered, blackscreen and all). Shouldn't have missed anything else really.
Using WinRar is easier, but right-click the files you wish, copy to and then "Gecomprimeerde map" (or something like that, that's it for Dutch Windows, don't know how it's exactly called in english)
1.7 is an .exe, just run the installer, specify where you installed TSL, done.
My 1.7 fix requires you to put a few files into the specified folders yes. Instructions are on the readme provided inside the RAR document with the files.
It's an issue with the 'Battle for Telos' mod we incorperated. Apparently it had a bug which we didn't knew about, and since it has been so long around already didn't really test it sufficiently figuring all issues would already been fixed by Kreia/Jinger. Apparently, that was the wrong decision.
A workaround for the moment is using KSE to change 101_PER_Revan_End to 1 (if 0) or 0 (if 1). Then after the cutscene you can change it back if you want. Will be fixed in the next version (or I suppose maybe a patch at some point could happen too...)
