Originally I cribbed this list from the internet to assist me when I was making my Loading Screen Mods for TSL. However, after I made the Replacement Loading Screens for KotOR2: Add-On Pack for those new areas, I wound up adding those warp codes to my own list. I was recently asked about Brotherhood of Shadow warp codes on Discord recently - yes, I know it's a different game - and it reminded me of my TSL Warp Code list. So now I post it here. If you find errors, please let me know. If you have codes from other mods that I may have overlooked (or haven't been released at time of writing), please let me know and I'll add them with attribution. Special thanks to @Leilukinand @JCarter426 for their assistance on KotOR Reddit Discord in working out how to find the Warp Codes more easily using Holocron Toolset.
KOTOR II Warp Codes
Enter these codes after "warp " in the console to be instantly transported to the listed area. The area code is not case-sensitive; i.e. 101per, 101Per, and 101PER all work. (Remember that the console is invisible in TSL.)

ORIGINAL NOTES:
[1] Warping into this area will leave you without companions. Not a good thing unless you just want to test your toughness.
[2] Warping into a turret minigame may cause the game to hang when the minigame is complete.
[3] Warping into this area does nothing except trigger a cutscene on Citadel Station with Carth Onasi. You then travel to Malachor V.
[4] You can warp into a swoop track and race. Afterwards, you'll find yourself in front of the track manager; however, your race time won't be recorded. Use this for practicing swoop racing without paying any money.
[5] Warping into the Telos Restoration Zone prior to having entered it normally will cause the game to hang in the cutscene and your only option is to ALT-F4 to force the game to close.
[6] You'll see a plot-exposition cutscene that normally occurs the first time you travel to Nar Shadaa and then end up on the Refugee Landing Pad.
[7] This is the Iziz Merchant Quarter after you have landed your Mandalorian War Basilisk in the middle of the street.
[8] This is actually an amusing area to visit. This is the area used to show cutscenes when you are helping/sabotaging the defense against the mercenaries. There's a computer console that allows you to play all the mini-movies and you can wander around and see how the developers set up the movies.
[9] This is the scene aboard Ebon Hawk after you leave Atris' Secret Academy the first time.
NEW NOTES:
[10] As per Leilukin: 006EBO is used for the cutscene on the Ebon Hawk after the Rebuilt Jedi Enclave (which includes dialogue with Atton and Visas/Disciple)
[11] As per Leilukin: the Extended Enclave mod also adds a custom module for the Ebon Hawk, 020EBO for the cutscene of the Ebon Hawk crew after the Exile's "death".
[12] As per Leilukin: 007EBO is used for the cutscene on the Ebon Hawk after Goto's Yacht, which includes dialogue with Mira/Hanharr, Atton and G0-T0
So . . . how have you all been? It’s been a while since I’ve written a blog. How are you? Oh, how am I? Let’s go over some current events as recent as [checking watch] today and see why i am posting!
I have been modding for several years now. My policy on mods has changed throughout the years but can be currently be seen as: Don’t upload my stuff on the Steam Workshop and please don’t upload anything on the Nexus site as I may do so myself in the future. Whether you like my mods or not, I’ve put in the effort to make them and it seems pretty reasonable to acquiesce to my wishes here. However, I have made a lot of mods and in one instance, I hadn’t updated the mod uploading stance. [This has now been rectified by the way - more to follow.]
Then I got this Private Message from someone here on Deadly Stream today. Their identity has been censored.

Well! Let’s go over this a bit.
While it is true that in the original description of the mod it did say “If you use it in a mod, all I ask for is a credit. Thanks.”, I’ll note that there’s proper etiquette of how to go about this. It’s called “getting permission” or you’re less fancy “getting an OK” before uploading someone else’s work. I’ve been involved in the community for years. No one has seemingly had trouble getting in touch with me. So, I do have to wonder – what was the difficulty here then?
Just to mention something else here: “Use it in a mod” means “use it in a mod.” It does not mean just upload the work unchanged all by itself.
Interestingly enough, this unnamed person on their “guide” for BOS:SR includes links to other mods both here and on NexusMods. Why was uploading my mod to NexusMods even necessary in the first place?
Lastly “unnamed person”, I am somewhat amused by your parting shot on modding etiquette. You see, I’ve had a reputation around these parts having taken a hard line on mod rules. I’m sure I can get some folks in the comments to say how much of a hard-liner
I invite modders in this community to offer your input. Thanks for your attention.
One last thing: Seeing as the unnamed person is probably reading this, the word you’re looking is “deprecated” and not “depricated.”

So you've ripped the tracks using one of the guides out there or you're just that clever with using Miles Sound Tools that you didn't even need one. Congratulations! You have that music to listen to to your hearts content.
But what of the artwork that you probably want to track tag your MP3's with? What ever shall you put in there? Well, I have you covered. (pun intended) Here are two examples if nothing else comes to mind and . . . a template if you have the picture and don't want to fiddle around with the text too much.
If you use my template, feel free to post your KotOR II themed IMGUR link in a post below.
Rogue (noun) (1) a scoundrel, (2) a vicious or solitary animal, or (3) a fraudulent piece of software. The word is also an adjective meaning vicious and solitary.
Rouge
Rouge (noun) is a pinkish color or a reddish powder. Also called blush or blusher (UK), it is a cosmetic typically used by women to redden the cheeks so as to provide a more youthful appearance, and to emphasize the cheekbones.. It’s also a verb meaning "to put rouge onto."
Correct Usage: In the Star Wars universe, Han Solo is a lovable rogue.
(Yes, you Han.)
Correct Usage: When applying her make up, Princess Leia didn't use too much rouge.
Incorrect Usage:
Han Solo is a fierce rouge in the smuggling world.
Originally, I cribbed the original form of this list from the internet. However, after I made the The TSL Warp Code List, I knew I would have to make a list for the KotOR1 warp codes. I already had the BOS:SR codes but realized that the list would be compiled much faster with the community’s help. This list and the TSL list, are living lists: if new codes are found (or introduced by way of new mods), they can be added. As with the TSL list, new codes will be attributed in the main post.
If you find errors, please let me know.

Mods I know that we need warp codes for (this list will need to be expanded on as well, of course):
KotOR 1 Restoration (K1R) by Fair Strides and ZM90 (and a crew of thousands, I'm sure)
Redhawke’s ORD Mandell mod (I've lined this one out as it uses the same names as the original locations that RedHawke cloned for the mod. In order to stop the confusion, I've left it off the list intentionally)
Instead of linking to my previous blog about this, I'm going to quote the relevant portions and then move on from there to the new points.
One thing that I don’t think I’ve previously discussed is the problem of voice overs of the character Master Vash – the Jedi we’re seeking in the M4-78 materials. Did you know that there are two voice actresses for the lines that appear in the game?
When we first see and hear Master Vash, it’s an old video that T3-M4 plays of your Exile’s trial on Coruscant. The voice actress for Vash in this scene is Vanessa Marshall.
Vanessa Marshall has played a number of parts over the years, including a few characters in the Extended Universe including: Master Bela Kiwiiks (from SWTOR), Hera Syndulla (from Star Wars: Rebels, Forces of Destiny, and Squadrons) and assorted characters in KotOR2. Here's an IMDB link to her CV.
Here’s where things take a turn. Vanessa Marshall isn’t who we hear on the planet of M4-78 though. That completely different voice actress is Kath Soucie. In TSL, she played the sisters of the Last of the Handmaidens (a/k/a Brianna's sisters). In the Star Wars EU alone, she’s played the female Smuggler and minor characters in SWTOR, Mira Bridger and Minister Maketh Tua in Star Wars: Rebels, Mon Mothma from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars cartoon, the Nightsister in Star Wars Empire at War: Forces of Corruption, Mara Jade in Star Wars: Empire at War, and the list goes on and on with other non-Star Wars roles. Here's her IMDB link.
The new points:
Now there's a few things to consider . . .
1) Which Vash voice actor is canon? Personally, I have to say that the real voice actor is the one we hear in the vanilla game. That's the Vash they presumably intended to have all the way through and Vanessa Marshall's line didn't have to be restored. If you disagree, please comment below but read on for now.
2) There isn't enough information left in the game to describe what Vash's fate was to have been as the planet was cut early on in the development. So the character's fate is a mystery.
3) No one here is going to pay for Vanessa Marshall to redo Kath Soucie's lines.
So what's the alternative? My thought is via AI models of the voice actress' lines. Have someone - say YouTube's SpeakingofAI - make a new model by providing all of Vanessa Marshall's lines from the game and providing addition material from other games and sources.
But should anyone request this yet? I'd say no and here's why: The aforementioned mystery of Vash's fate (or fates) should be considered first. There are other points as well so let's quickly cover them.
If she makes it off the planet, might she return to Jedi Enclave? If she does, what does she say during the Exile's trial that ties into the material that she's already discussed. And can she do so while both staying true to the overall themes of the game and not simply repeating what the other surviving Jedi Masters say?
Is there a possibility where she makes it off the planet and doesn't return to the Enclave? Is there a way to do so while remaining true to the game's themes? And assuming Kaah lives, does he go with her to points on unknown?
If she doesn't make it off the planet, does she have new dialogue? What would she say?
As long as we have an AI model that can replicate Vash's voice. would new scenes be written and created to provide the player with a "breadcrumb trail" to let them know they're on the right track and to provide some exposition?
I was planning to put these points in the documentary, but I think it's something that should be discussed now so I can judge the audience's reaction to it. I'm also curious to see how feasible you all think this may be. Finally, if anyone wants to bring up other possible uses for extending Vash's appearances or what her new unwritten dialogue might be, please drop your own suggestions or writing examples down below.
Hey folks, I've had this message set up in advance so I can activate it and be on my merry way.
On or about the 20th of July 2016, my possessions will be boxed up and I will start the long move from the east coast of the United States all the way up to Alaska. That's a long hike - and with a whole country in between! Adding to the time it takes to move all my family's stuff, there's also the matter of the housing situation being set up on the other end of the journey. (I may be in temporary housing for up to a month.) And there's the settling in at my new job to think of as well.
All told, I may be away from the modding scene for up to two months.
I can be reached via email but my time will be limited. So . . . if you have questions about uploading your mods or other staff needs, please reach out to one of our fine moderators to help you with your inquiry. (Remember, if you're not entirely sure who's the best person to ask, ask a Moderator before you make the jump to an Administrator.
I will miss you guys. Behave!
Secret Team Personnel: I wish you the best with the Secret Project. I look forward to seeing something interesting that you might report once I'm back.
Would the voice actress on this Fiverr page be better quality, the same quality, or worse than what we currently have for the part of Kaevee in TSLRCM?
I'm looking to do a quick purchase because of a timed discount so let me know ASAP. I'm locking this blog entry tomorrow.
I've recorded a decent amount of footage from Star Wars: The Old Republic with the intention of doing some movie / playthroughs on my YouTube channel. However, editing isn't my forte. I also wish to make some close edits - hopefully down to the frame - so I can include as much footage as possible. I'd love to have some suggestions on how I can create HD videos on YouTube with the footage that I've recorded.
The tools I currently have:
Video:
FRAPS (A legal copy, so I won't have the watermark that unregistered versions of the program have)
Roxio 2010 (including VideoWave)
Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 10.0
and of course, Windows Movie Maker (LOL)
Audio:
Goldwave
Audacity
Might anyone have recommendations on programs to use or "how-to" suggestions on putting the walkthroughs together that they could pass along?
I've just become aware that there's another M4-78 mod available on the 'net that was created way back in 2007. It's called the Droid Planet mod and it was created by Darth_Shan. The creator got it to a version 1.3 so he must have worked on it for some period of time.
Why mention this to you, Dear Reader? Have you heard me mumble something about a secret project lately? I'm currently working on a video documentary that will cover all of M4-78's history: Why it was cut from the game in the first place and the various attempts to restore it to the game. (Now you know.) This mod is a part of that history. Do you wish to be a part of it?
Try out the mod linked above and offer your reviews. I have no earthly idea if it's TSLRCM compatible. My educated guess is that it isn't. (If you're adventurous, be my guest to try it out with TSLRCM.) I won't be able to help you if there's an issue installing it or how the plot goes. However, there's a cheat guide and walk through included with the mod in case you get stuck.
At the very least, I'll be able to add this mod to appropriate section on the Compatibility List.) Best case scenario, I'll get some recent reviews of this mod and you find something new to explore.
I use the U.S. version and I only speak English so I have to reach out to you fine folks to get the answer for this.
At least five years ago, ttlan posted up on his website the various spelling and grammatical errors in the opening crawl for the French version of KOTOR2.
Is this an issue with the other foreign language editions of KOTOR1 and/or KOTOR2?
In addition, what countries did have the official localization for both games?
I had a thread on Reddit that linked to an early M4-78 mod created a long, long time ago which didn't even use Vash in it. I'd love to have outside sources give some opinions. I haven't played it myself. It was created by a modder named Darth Shan way back in 2006. If anyone is interested in using this mod and giving feedback, I'll have a place for it in one of my videos in my (yet unreleased) YouTube M4-78 Documentary. You can provide text, or text with your own voice saying your words. There is a walkthrough provided by the mod author in the package so that should speed things along for you.
If you're a person that doesn't have a problem starting up another playthrough virtually at the drop of a hat, you're cordially invited to help!
A note: I am unsure of the compatibility with TSLRCM and/or the M4-78 EP, so I will leave that in your hands or whether you'd like to try it with either of them. (You are most welcome to try though!)
Here's a non-GameFront link for it:
Droid Planet Mod by Darth Shan
You've probably seen messages like the following as my status update:
Well if you subscribe, I get in-game pets - specifically the following pets . . .
As you can see, I've earned the first pet. I'd really like to get the 5th pet, but I have to earn the other ones in between to get that one. They also do a one-time gift of some cartel coins to yours truly if you stay subscribed to the game - but I'm really in this for the pets.
Thanks for listening to my plea!
Edit: This program was cancelled quite some time ago. That being the case, I'm now locking the thread.
It turns out that these pops and thumps occur mainly on what are known as 'plosive' sounds, prime examples being words that start with the letter 'B' or 'P'. If you were to hold a lighted candle in front of your lips while speaking or singing 'plosives', you'd see the flame flicker, because we tend to expel a blast of air when making these sounds. By contrast, if you sing a sustained 'Ahh' sound, the candle will barely flicker at all, because you're mainly just producing sound vibrations with your vocal cords and expelling very little air in the process.
Sibilant Sounds
In addition to above problem letters, there's also the sneaky sounding S - and also Z. The S can produce a hissing sound that's difficult to edit out as well. Professional voice actors have training on how to deal with such things with various facial exercises. Like the above, the reason for this occuring is once again air. In this case however, the harshness of the sound is usually due to the exhaled air hitting the teeth,
However, if you're reading this - and you're making a mod - you probably don't have the budget to hire a professional voice actor or actress. What is one to do? The answer is three words is . . .
A Pop Filter
A pop filter is a nylon-mesh screen that clips onto the microphone and is placed between the speaker and the microphone. It lessens the aforementioned air issue by filtering it out. Pop filters are commonly used in music studios. Of course, you could buy one . . . but what fun would that be? I'm going to link you to a video that will show you how to make your very own for under 10 (U.S.) dollars. (No, it's not me in the video.)
If you need more than one pop filter, this might be the best way to go. The savings will be quite apparent.
A few hours ago, I ordered a pop filter from Amazon. I decided that for my next blog, I'll describe my set up and perhaps give a layman's review of the filter. I'll probably re-record lines from the original M4-78 mod by Darth Stoney - so I don't "spoil" anyone waiting for the "M4-78 Enhancement Project" stuff. (I'll probably have links to YouTube videos for that.) A note: I'm no audio engineer so hopefully I'll satisfy the curiosity for our standard viewers without going overboard. I will provide links where I acquired my equipment and have prices and more information on my microphone, computer, and pop filter for those that crave that sort of thing. Oh yeah, I'll have pictures too but I might just grab those from the ever popular Google.
I was thinking about voice overs earlier today and was wondering why I've never posted a blog before. It seems like the two things might go together.
This first entry is likely to be very exciting as it mostly relies on a link to an outside source. An admission, this is mostly copied word for word from a post I made over at Lucas Forums.
Those that follow Half-Life at all might be familiar with the Black Mesa Source mod. The concept was to redo the first Half Life 2 game engine using the latest Source engine. (I believe the last engine mentioned was the one right before Portal 2 but they may have started using that one for all I know.)
Over at SteamCast (now renamed to SteamChat due to legal problems), they've posted a podcast with some of the voice actors for that mod. If you start listening at about the 20 minute mark, you'll hear some interesting takes on voice acting and some tips as well.
Here's a link to an archive of the relevant SteamChat podcast.
Don't worry - I'll get better at this sort of thing in the future.
I'm in the process of making a video series but I have to think a few steps ahead to making an end credits scroll which would simulate the credits scrolls for the movies and the KOTOR games.
I know the fonts to use . . .
. . . and I have those fonts (among many, many others.)
But I don't know of a free program that can accurately simulate the actual scrolling. No, I don't own Photoshop and I can't afford it so that's pretty much out as an option. I'd appreciate any free (or at least relatively inexpensive) suggestions that anyone could offer.
I'll be playing a fresh KOTOR1 playthrough and I need suggestions.
1) Silveredge9's Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomon's Revenge
2) Inyri Forge's Recruitable Kay
3) Sithspecter's Flowing Revan Robes
4) Drewton's Darth Malak skin
5) Zbyl's restored K1 BIK Movies
I followed Inyri Forge's instructions on how to make sure that Solomon's Revenge is compatible with her mod. Now that I have them all patched up, I'm looking for more suggestions on what I should add to my K1 playthrough. I'm only interested in mods that actually have been released. I also have no interest in any mods that are not compatible with the ones above.
I did get a suggestion before I made this blog. Here's why I won't be using it . . .
I will not be using "KotOR Cutscene Sound Improvement" for two reasons. 1) It doesn't specify which version of BOS it's compatible with. (Is it the original BOS or the new "Solomon's Revenge" version?) 2) It uses John Williams' Star Wars music and I'm pretty sure that's not legal. (Thanks anyway for the suggestion, milestails!)
I'm hoping to hear from you folks with some K1 suggestions!
March is approaching fast and I want to know which mod should be a Featured Download. The majority of the folks come here initially do so due to one of the larger mods. They may be missing out on the smaller mods that aren't as well known. I've always thought that the site should pick gems out of the downloads here and promote them.
This is where you come in!
PM me your pick for a mod to appear in the "Featured Download" spotlight. I'll also need to know the reason that you chose that 1 mod today! (Don't vote for your own mod because that would be tacky.)
I'll be locking the thread to force you to send them to me directly. Your vote is your vote and I don't want this concept to turn into a discussion on why one mod might be better than another.
In case any one is wondering, I am still working on that M4-78 documentary video series. I do have to wait for a few folks to send their comments in an audio form. One of the folks is at school and another has just got married so I must patient. You guys don't want to hear my voice all the way through the video as that would get old quick. (Ask my wife!)
While I wait for those audio submissions, I'll put this question to you: Do you have any M4-78 questions that are non-walkthrough related? I will be doing a video walkthrough for M4-78 EP. and I have a very good idea of what every one is looking for in that. The M4-78 questions need not be restricted to the most current M4-78 mod. I can't guarantee an answer for you but I'll do my best to get the information you're interested in.
In your opinion, what makes a mod successful? I'm looking for a more general overview in your responses, without making this about specific mods. (That is, I don't want this to devolve into a list of most favorite / least favorite mods.) What makes a mod work (or not work) for you?
This is one of my blogs that I won't be putting in my status updates, so congratulations if you've found it!
For my upcoming M4-78 "documentary", one of the topics I'll be covering is Team Bantha's attempt at doing a M4-78 mod. The main portion of that section will be Pavlos' excellent M4-78 Post Mortem article.
I'm not British but apparently Pavlos is. I thought hiring a voice actor might be an interesting way to present someone else's written work. An advantage to this would be that viewers will (easily) know when I'm stopping the article to explain certain things - when they hear the voice has changed from English accented man to an American voice.
Here's where you can help. I'll likely be hiring the voice actor from fiverr.com. Listen to the actors that do male adult British voices and give me your opinion on which of them might best suit the article I linked to above!
I'll have to fly out of Kodiak today to head back to NYC early this evening - assuming that I can get out in this weather. My mother is in the hospital and isn't expected to make it. So the next week or so, I'll be a very faint presence on the forums. If you have access to my Facebook account, please don't post your well wishes on there at the moment because I'm not quite in the right mind frame for that. (You may post those thoughts here in this blog.) If you have questions to do with KOTOR stuff or the forums, I kindly suggest that you seek out the other wonderful moderators and/or administrators (with the possible exception of Fair Strides who has his own trials to contend with) to assist you for the time being.
The premise is that you have up to 2,000 dollars of pretend money to spend. What sort of computer could I get for that? Assume I have a mouse and keyboard - everything else is up for grabs. It would also have to be able to play SWTOR on maximum settings.
Have at it - and provide links and pictures if possible, please!
Update: Instead of creating a whole new computer, I plan to rebuild my current computer. For reasons, I plan to stay with Windows 7 for the time being. Here are the parts I plan to carry over to the new computer.
iBuypower ARC 647 CASE ATX Mid Tower Case
PowerColor Radeon R9 270X 2GB Video Card
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (I will likely add another Hard Drive as well though.)
Noctua NH-D14 65.0 CFM CPU Cooler
LG UH12NS30 Blu-Ray Reader, DVD/CD Writer
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 OEM 64-bit
I will be updating my drafts for the computer with this list on PCPartPicker.com.
I have a number of characters that I've created on SWTOR but I think I probably should have made my Sith Inquisitor light sided as I found the Chapter 3 ending a better one when going light sided. I've decided to redo my Inquisitor using the same character design.
My legacy name is "Sev'n-ate" as a play on M4-78. (Har har.)
Any suggestions on a character name that breaks the original mold? Character List
