  1. I'm thinking about finally upgrading to windows 7,for the most part do the KOTOR games run without xp compatibility mode or is it needed? Also does anyone know if ktool still works properly with it?

No compatibility mode needed. Ktool's fine.

Lost your disc's! shame on you :P one other question does it matter if I were to load the 64bit version on should I stay with 32bit?

64's working fine with TSL and KTool. K1 will run fine without the video's.

  2. That would be major spoiler and revealing every easter eggs. Would you like BioWare to tell you what the whole TOR plot is? I think not. Most likely there will be help for those that can't find their way around and maybe someone will post something on gamefaqs... But who knows...

  3. What a lucky person you are to remember these numbers. Guess what, now that you found you had too much PX, all that remains to do is this: at the end of the Peragus Tunnel, make a quick save.

    Then, open Kotor Save Editor

    then find the quicksave

Then edit the experience points from 6715 PX to 6465 PX.

    Et voilà :P

Oh and there is something else that works great: use the uber exile to walk through half the mines, ensuring yourself not to gain too much XP from disarming them :P

  4. If you want to go DS, then you'll want Go-to to prevent remote from destroying Malachor V. And well, I think it does modify the atmosphere of the game to know that the greatest of heroes decided to grasp power... again!

  5. The extend thingy seems to be hard coded, if I recall correctly. However, there are some mods that slows the leveling up. Also, you could try to make a speadsheet that project what attribute/skills/feat/force powers points you'd get if it continued, fix a number of kill to jump level and use KSE to attribute these to yourself. Kind of like a self leveling-up.

  6. Okay, so basically, there are a lot more factors to TSL than being LS/DS and Male/Female. I'll try to cover some of them for you.

The one you seemed to miss is defining Revan. Unlike Mass Effect, you cannot import a save. What is the link between K1 and K2 is the first conversation you get with Atton. You'll get to decide if Revan was male or female and if he gone dark or light side.

After you activate Hk-47, you should speak to him about the sith lord you've encountered. Then, chase 3 hk-50 patrols, and you'll have access to the hk factory. This is espescially important if you choose the light side ending at Malachor V.
