  1. I'm not sure if this problem is already listed. I do not have time to read through all pages to check. Anyway here goes:

On the last time on telos(end game) I have come to the assault on citadel station. I have cleared all the halls of sith attackers, and all is done. Next step is to talk to mandalore to join the assault on the sith ship.

When I do this, I see the movie of all the republic ships appearing and space ship fighting etc. BUT when the movie is over, the screen turns black, and I'm still on citadel station. I know this because I could still move around even though the screen was black, as well as open up the menu etc. and while running around I accidentally clicked Mandalore again, which brought up the conversation to trigger the attack on the sith ship. Triggered the movie again, but came back to the black screen and citadel station.

Anybody had the same problem/know what to do?

I have all official patches installed + tslrcm 1.7. nothing more. Have had only a few bugs prior to this, this is the only one that doesn't allow me to progress.

Any help would be appreciated :)

Well, use of the search function would have helped you. Anyhow, you need the ravager black screen fix, which is available through the download section.

  2. Product Description

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Timothy Zahn comes a brand-new Star Wars adventure, set in the time between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back and featuring the young Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia Organa, and the beloved Mara Jade.

The fate of the Rebellion rests on Luke Skywalker’s next move.

But have the rebels entered a safe harbor or a death trap?

Eight months after the Battle of Yavin, the Rebellion is in desperate need of a new base. So when Governor Ferrouz of Candoras Sector proposes an alliance, offering the Rebels sanctuary in return for protection against the alien warlord Nuso Esva, Luke, Leia, Han, and Chewie are sent to evaluate the deal.

Mara Jade, the Emperor’s Hand, is also heading for Candoras, along with the five renegade stormtroopers known as the Hand of Judgment. Their mission: to punish Ferrouz’s treason and smash the Rebels for good.

But in this treacherous game of betrayals within betrayals, a wild card is waiting to be played.

So yup, another Zahn novel, following on where the novel Allegiance left, it will continue the story of Mara Jade

    , the emperor's Hand

and the 5 stormtroopers that had no choice but to leave active service of the empire because of ISB. This is going to be sweet, I tell ya! If you want to read this pearl, you should look for Allegiance first.

  3. Query: I hate to go off topic, but will that mod that Holocron mentioned be compatible with your saber hilt replacements?

Statement: I assume it is as it only changes the saber blades, but I want to be sure before downloading.

Answer: probably not, as Crixler specifically mentionned that his mod would not be compatible with either Hotor nor USM. IIRC that is.

  4. I've never seen the point in cross-classing. Instead of having a double-advantage in one field through staying a single type of class, you get a disadvantage in two fields. Whatever, just how I play :P

Lemme tell ya the advantage of Sentinel/Weapon Master:

-You get a potent lsbr crafter

-He can't be stunned, be effected by fear nor paralysis

-He's a tank with 2 lsbr, almost unstoppable with all the two handed weapon and lsbr mastery...

  5. Head not available? I think a screenshot would speak more than just speaking of it. While you'll be getting this, my head'll be unavailable biggrin.gif

  6. PS: How can you be a grey Weapon Master? Arent you supposed to be well within dark/light side to choose a prestige class? And I havent really verified this well, but once you choose a prestige class, I was under the impression you couldnt go back to neutral. Am I wrong?

Indeed, wrong you are :P Neutral you can be if wish-it you do biggrin.gif

  7. The bible can be a good moral standard in some cases, but that's about it. If you take more faith in it, fine. To each their own. We should respect everyone's believes. To do otherwise shows ignorance.

That's my point, but according to some, if you do not recognize Jesus Christ as being the son of god... "Thou shall burn in hell". Which is somehow odd lol.

  8. I usually go for a LS Male Sentinel, then progress to a Weapon Master, two Lightsabers, updating the whole 2 weapons feat ASAP.

For attributes, I tend to go with medium intel, high dex, high constitution, and medium wis/char. Something like that:

    10 Str, 14 Dex, 15 Con, 15 Int, 12 Wis, 12 Cha

I favor intel first in order to get more skills and have a proficient exile at building things, creating components and the such. Then I go for Dex and Con. I prefer dex to strength, because not also it makes me harder to hit, but it also makes it easier for me to hit targets (with melee and LSBR). If you hit hard and miss, you don't do as much damage than one that hit less but accurately.

  9. Of course, with the amount of FP and FP regeneration rate, you can do that regardless of your alignment.

Ha ha, this is so true!

Also, a sith lord "all dark" have a 50 FP bonus to their pool. Making that an advantage when it comes to using LSP, compared to Jedi Masters using DSP, so slight may-it be...

  10. I think I'll leave it there. I don't want to continue my arguement. Call me misguided if you want. Call me a fool. I believe my chances are better following the Bible. I hope one day, before you die, you realize the truth of this. If not, I'm afraid God will be forced to carry out justice.

We shall see. Perhaps god will correct this opinion of yours when you get to him. Or perhaps it is you that will be disappointed when you'll discover you've been repentant all your life for all your sins, only to find out that it ends there and there won't be any god to appreciate your sacrifice.

Anyway, this is again all theorics. If you want to believe that the ultimate judgment of your life do not depend of your actions, but merely of your belief, then what I'll say next will be lost on you.

In application, you have 3 choices before you:

-Try to cope for your sins for the duration of your life/do nothing with your life. (latency)

-Try to make something good in the society without knowing what may happen afterwards (let us call this courage).

-Act in your own interest to get the better of your life (sometimes without regards for the negative consequences on the life of others) (let us call-it selfishness).

These are things you can have influence on. Are you familiar with the myth of the cavern? (Socrates, probably before any monotheism existed...) This story may interest you.

  11. So you believe that men were inspired by god to write the bible? But can you say so without a doubt?

We have all sinned against Him. His justice demands a punishment, but He is a merciful and loving God. The only reason He doesn't strike us dead and put us in Hell right now, is because of His mercy.

Again, there is a major flaw in there. God may exist, but we have to say the same of Allah, Zeus, Jupiter and a lot of diety. They all have the same chance to exist. And according to men thate wrote sacred tomes or sang sacred songs, each being "prophets" for their faithful, their desires are different. Therefore, the notion of sin may differ from one to another.

I am curious as to what makes you believe human notions such as Justice and Punishment might be god's will? If it is the bible, yet again, your reference is human and may therefore be influenced by men. If god exist he may not see justice as we see-it. There's a bird and a worm. The bird eats the worm. God is omnipotent, would he not ask that justice be made and the worm be able to punish the bird?

And again, you have to make a distinction between the Church and the Religion. The Church is where all these Roman/John/else citations are coming. You like citations don't you? How about this one:

    Albert Einstein:

“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe.”

  12. The bible has been written by men. The concept of paradise and hell are just that: concepts. How about god? The bible say he is good and love his children (us). Sometimes (uh yup, he just decided to wipe everybody but a few dozen, didn't he?).

Also, you assume he has provided a way of escape. Maybe this is only due to the fact that those that wrote the bible were optimistic? Can you infirm that God might have sent JC to put Chaos on Earth? Only god knows what he knows, and those that wrote the bible don't. How about proving that Jesus was God's son? What we can be sure is that he had a tribune, that some people heard what he said (whatever it was) and reacted. Otherwise, nothing can be proved.

Are you willing to bet on God not existing, and ending up in hell?

So if a person don't believe in god, that person will necessarily end up in hell? I think not. Besides, what if the Hinduists are right and you are wrong? That would mean you would not re-incarnate in your next life? Unlikely.

You have two concepts confused: religion and church. Religion is a belief. A belief that there is a kind of overseeing omnipotent presence. Church is a political instance that seek to organize the humans, to give them purpose and a certain code. But in the end, the church is not the religion and vice versa. So basically, what I've just told you is that the bible comes from the church. If you believe in god, the only course of action to "interact" with him is have faith.

Anyway, this hardly answers my question. I ask what you achieve by finding out about god's existence or not. You answer that you are afraid that not being faithful might conduct you in hell. I'll then rephrase: how will your life change, if you do find out that god exists (or not)?

  13. And MrPhil, agree with everything, except that it's not an important topic. People act and judge the world based on those beliefs, if women, gays,... suffer for it, it's not so unimportant.

I did not say it was not an important topic. I said that some more immediate situations should receive more attention. For example, weighting the benefit of nuclear energy (allow one generation to get energy and condemn the 30 next to live with unrecyclable radioactive debris, as we don't even know how to process-it back...)

  14. I think it is working, but I am unsure. In any case, if it does not, you'll know about it either at Dantooine Enclave or at Telos Handmaiden vs her sisters. I know I had Final touch in one of my play through, but can't remember which. I know I had problems at these 2 spots though...

  15. Ultimatum: Bead and I ran through the possible scenarios we constructed for the HK/G0t0/Remote scene and we now have a question for you.

Would any of you object to other G0t0 droids showing up for the fight? They would show up with the HK-50s in one case, and in the others they would show up instead of the HK-50s. This way, the fight can be a bit more balanced, as it's a little bit harder to kill 3 math droids with basic combat capabilities than 1.

Keep in mind that on G0t0's yacht there were a ton of other G0t0 droids too, so this is not one of those cheap 'clone the bad guy' ploys.

That is a good idea. You've got my two cents on that ;)

  16. I, for one, am a fervent user of the «pensée réflexive». Not sure what it is actually called in english, but it means that I will generally try to use doubt to confirm (or infirm) informations. Therefore, there are things that can't be proved. Who or what created the universe is just one of them. You basically have the choice of believing the bible (which I'd remind you has be written by men!), that the universe has been created by god, and that the women has been created from Adam's rib... not to mention the raining frogs in Egypt......... or you can agree with theories that tries to explain the origin of universe. Then again, nothing is sure. And to be honest, there is only one thing each of us can be certain will happen: we.will.die. And so, maybe we'll know what's what when we'll die. Maybe our "life essence" will form another being. Maybe whatever... But all these are maybe's. I think there are more important topics in today's society. Energy consumption being one of many...
