    I was wondering if i could for example put jedi robes from kotor 2 in kotor 1

    Ok so i tried this mod skins http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/246-armored-robes-for-jal-shey-armors/ but later i found another which i liked more this one http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/951-zeison-sha-jal-shey-reskin/ , i thought if i just dropped the files in th override it would replace the former ones from the mod but they somehow combined, i then tried to manually delete the first mod but it did not worked either i still have the combined weird looking armor, any advice?

    I know all about star wars lore, i have been a fan for 20 years but just got to play the games recently because i was not a gamer until a few years ago, what i mean is that, even when kotor was canon, which was for more than 10 years, we never really got kotor 3, we got swtor which does not really mesh well with kotor 2, or is this interest on having kotor be canon again is for the hope of a remake?

    This is mostly curiosity but why is it so important for some people that Kotor be made canon?, i mean TDKR is not canon in the batman universe but is still considered one of the best stories about him.

    I am surprised how old this modding community is, and have found out there are many games even older who are still alive, what determines the lifespan of a modding community?

    I first want to learn how to create armor, but for a very, very long term goal ( years and years ), im interested in total conversion mods, which means in the end i would have to learn every aspect of modding right?

    I have no knowldege of how creating mods work but im interested in learning, i have read many times here modders saying that moding kotor is overall very time consuming, is this normal for any other game or the kotor games happen to be harder than most?
