  2. So K1R restores cut content though something I want to know is the cut items restored.

     

    Now before anyone asks I know stuff like the oil stick, the kashyyk crystal and a few other items have been restored but I want to know about every item such as the cinnagar weave armor and the Arkanian fiber armor and wehre you find them.

     

    (Also not all items can be restored like Malaks lightsaber, the insta kill blaster and the one damage weapons)

    When I firsted starting playing TSL I noticed how some armors that appeared in Kotor 1 didn't actually appear to look like how they did in
    Kotor 1 instead some looked new like the Light Battle Armor and Reinforced Battle Armor had new skins which was nice but then their were things like
    the Heavy Battle Armor and Verpine Zal Allow Mesh were just ridicolous and kinda unrealistic to the overall story of TSL so I decided to make a fix that turns those
    armors into their default Kotor 1 look.

     

    Now for those who were confused as to why those armors look strange is because they rushed the game without checking over it and it lefted a TON of bugs
    and mistakes and one of those mistakes were armors having the wrong model but from my perspective they planed to reskin those armors but could only finish at least 4
    and they just applied a random model to the armors they didn't finish so they didn't intend for the Armors to appear as they did in kotor 1 so thats why this wasn't
    included in TSLRCM.

     

    The armors that have been affacted by this mod includes
    *Heavy Battle Armor
    *Powered Battle Armor
    *Light Battle Armor
    *Ulic Qel Dromas Mesh Suit
    *Reinforced Fiber Mesh

    In Kotor 1 you can obtain an armor called Mandalorian Assault Armor which disguises your character into a blue Mandalorian as if your actually wearing there full
    body armor which was a good feature about the last few missions in kotor but if you play TSL you will know that the Mandalorian Assault Armor has a unique armor reskin which
    for me was a big slap in the face since I personally liked seeing Canderous as a Mandalorian but when I was searching through the game textures I found out that the TSL Mandalorian
    Assault Armor texture appears in the files of Kotor 1 meaning that the Texture appearing in TSL was intended for Kotor 1 but was cut at the last minute and replaced with a disguise though
    personally I would prefer the disguise though the Hardcore Restoration Fans say otherwise

So what I am looking for is a mod that allows you to play as a Twi'lek Female (Preferably blue) but every single Playable Twi'lek mod I find uses the twin suns body model which when worn as clothing literally looks like their Just some prostitute or a Stripper which I'm sure no ones ever played TSL with the intention to make their charatcer that.

     

    So what I'm looking for is a Female Twi'lek mod that doesn't use the Twin Sun model for the clothing and Actually Works.

I can see your point, but Jedi Knights are generally far more dependable, and to send up to five other people onto an incredibly dangerous situation with someone so untrained that they still need a Master at their side and trust them with those five lives sounds ridiculously unwise, no matter what super Force Power they have. (Not only that, but Battle Meditation is a defensive move that requires concentration of the user which would kind of hamper leading a task force to the objective, but that's another weird plothole)

    I can see your point there as well though there are things similar to that in the new canon for example some padawans were trusted to lead the clone armies during the clone wars. Some Padawans were sent on dangerous assignments with their masters to deal with sometimes sith lords (Now Bastila could of been with her master at revans death and he/she was killed in the cutscene were Revan died)


  7. Yeah I always found it galling. It was stupid. Didn't she lead the raid on Revan's flagship? That would be a job for a master ideally, but if not then at least a knight. Certainly not a padawan. And later on she says she wondered if the mission with the player was a test by the Council to see if she was ready to be made a master. You don't jump straight from padawan to master. I think it was probably changed at some point simply so that she didn't outrank the player.

    Well desperate times call for desperate measures and quite frankly a Jedi Knight strike force without battle meditation is just a dying light in the dark. Plus even though Bastila had developed a Power force power that does not grant her the rights to be a Jedi Knight or Master

  8. I don't know how adding toilets is an advantage of KotOR Apeiron. Is there something so great about toilets that there was just a huge void in the game because of their absence?

     

    Have you watched any of the live streams? I don't knock Apeiron simply because of the toilets. It frankly doesn't look like Star Wars. I've watched maybe a dozen of the live streams, with areas ranging from Taris to Dantooine and Tatooine. None of them bears the same feel as anything Star Wars. They've just really missed the mark.

    Well with the Endar Spire I can agree with you that looks like something from Halo, but Upper city Taris when compared to the old one looks hell of a lot better mainly because of its flashy lights and metallicness. Tatooine in my opinion looks like Jakku and I haven't seen Dantooine yet

     

     

    Did You see lower Taris?? They completely missed the point, same with anchorhead (These two areas are supposed to be run down, not hi rise flashy thingys everywhere)... the cantina looks like malachor, the endar spire looks like something out of a completely different franchise... They look like they just plonk stuff anywhere in the areas they are building on there streams and if you ask the devs about anything that is not related to area bulding, they ignore you (like how the game mechanics will work, dialogues, scenes, gameplay etc)

    Well the lower city was once part of a City and it was the Taris equivalent of Down Town meaning there'd be a lot of flashy lights of restaurants and clubs and Ally ways for drug deallers and god knows what else. Though since this is now a place were people kill you for no reason I wouldn't be suprised if they add dead corspes everywhere


  9. The bombardment was focused and wouldn't affect the damage being shown in skyboxes, right? That's the point being made here.

    True, Though according to Adum Larp and Kaevae the Cut Padawan a Sith ground force was deployed and they killed anyone they came across and they burned down the matale and sandral estates so even though the skybox shouldn't be crater after crater it shouldn't look as friendly as the K1 Skybox

  10. Only two places were bombarded on Dantooine: The Jedi Enclave (shown in TSL, after the fact) and the Rakatan Ruins (mentioned In audio files). It wasn't a widespread bombardment like Taris.

    Actually the Rakatan ruins were shown in TSL if you go to the Mercanary camp you can see the Rakatan ruins behind them and you can see for a fact it was bombed to the point were you can't go into it


  11. Hehe, I just checked and the Bastila mod has 1024 by 1024 textures and look how great they look! I'm not saying it would be bad to have many textures overhauled, just a "4K" size is complete overkill for the game.

    Well then, I'm guessing the 4K Atton mod isn't 4K after all!

  12. There's really no need for that. "4K" as you refer to it, I'm assuming is a 4096 by 4096 texture. Default is 512 by 512. A 4096 by 4096 texture is a whopping 64 times larger than the original. 2048 by 2048, or even 1024 by 1024 would be fine.

    Well higher resolution textures would be great. For example, the Higher Quality Bastila mod doesn't change the colors or nothing. It's still the same Bastila and it looks great.

     

    I'd personally would like to see a HD Carth.

  13. I am trying to play the TSLRCM 1.8.5 but I can't progress on Nar Shadda. I have done most quest you can do on Nar Shadda but I haven't gotten the Red eclispe slaver cutscene yet meaning I can't progress on Nar Shadda

    1) When did the problem first occur?

    Upon completing most Nar Shadda sidequests avaliable

    2) Did you install the latest version of the mod?

    1.8.5

    3) What version of the game do you have?

    Steam

    4) Did you update your game as required by your game's region?

    N/A

    5) Did you install this over the previous version, or did you perform a fresh installation as required by the TSLRCM's read me file?

    Fresh installation

    8) What other mods have you installed?

    Only a Mod I made that fixes the armor models (It hasn't been approved yet) and I am using an Xbox One controller

    9) Can you be more specific about the error? At what point did it happen?

    I haven't triggered the Red eclispe sidequest yet even though I've completed All avaliable sidequest on Nar Shadda

    10) Have you tried re-downloading the mod?

    No.

    11) Have you tried using a different save game?

    No.

  14. Actually the four new voice overs do not need to sound at all like the two sound sets already present.

    Well if your going to do that you'd need to replace ALL the PC soundsets because two different voices for one character doesn't quite make sense.

     

    And it would have to make sense with all three Head options (White, Asian and Black) for example lets say Samuel Jackson (Actor of Mace Windu) did it his voice over it wouldn't quite fit in for the Asian heads

So while working out on my improvement mod I was working on the undercity because I warped their the gate is locked so I decided to use GLintercept (Freecam) to attempt to check on my modifications to the outcast so when I tried to press ctrl, shift, c I instead pressed cntrl, shift and suddenly the game looks like this

    Now I have no clue what so ever on what this is whether it's a bug or a hidden feature but it is strange the only way I know how to fix it is closing and relaunching kotor it goes back to normal but when I tried cntrl, shift again it doesn't do anything so would anyone know what this is

     


  16. Well, the original could use official widescreen support and higher resolutions but otherwise I agree. 

     And Controller Support and possibly steam workshop.

     

     

     

    KotOR Apeiron: Literally 100% more crap than the original KotOR.

    I don't see how adding toilets is bad its not like your actually going to use them or have an option to walk into the toilet room and bash or security your way through the doors and watch someone use it (Hopefully that isn't an option)
