  1. Hey Everyone The Beta Testing for the Demo's content has started!! With this comes the next step Human VOs.... Post here is your interested in doing VO work for Revenge of Revan. Just need to know your age and wither your male or female along with what type of characters you believe you would be good for....villain, beggar, sad npc, happy npc, professional npc, soldier,..etc. I will send a PM to you where you can send me a sample of a VO you did. Then i will send out the parts/lines to the people by email. Roles will range from simple NPCs walking by to more detail roles. MORE TO COME..... Logan ----------------------------------------------------------------------- List of People who are Interested: Storm-Rider "Im interested in doing a VO for revenge of revan, Im 16, Male, I havent done it before but wanting to try it out, I'll be good at any character really, Although i'd like to try a villain," Sith Holocron Male age 30's JediExile "I'll try out. I'm a female in my 20s. I'd be good at a happy or professional NPC. Just let me know where to send the sample" JuniorModder Specialize in male children-adults, with British and American accents. However, I can do older adults. I can play many characters with unique voices at one time, so it's no problem for me to play multiple characters. ZimmMaster Will be 17 in nine days. I specialize in male characters, especially villains, with a deep bass voice. Cody I am Male and I am 19 years old. Though I am told that my voice makes me sound younger. I can do a voice for villains, beggars, sad npcs, happy npcs, young soldiers, young jedi/sith and child-young adult. Kreia001 Hi, I am a male and currently I am 17 years old. I can do VO's for everyone, though I would prefer a villain, jedi/sith, and if possible a major character. I am talanted at acting Makaveli I'm a male in my 20's. With accents, I can affect a southern american accent pretty well, otherwise unaccented (american). My voice is similar to Zherron/Nemo in a character sense, though I can raise the speed and pitch. I'm not really suited to a young or excitable character, but the others I could give a good shot.
  2. When you get one play through, just give me a pm wither there were any major bugs or crashes. I can wait for the detail review just want to make sure it was stable for you guys.

    Thanks

  3. Hey, no problem =)

    thanks!

  4. Hey, how did the download go?

  5. Why not have it that if you do not save your party members this will trigger or play a part in the scenes where the Party members like Atton verse Mical happen, or Brianna verse Visas So Pc runs through and forget the party then you can get the party member verse fights.
  6. Hey, The bond between the Exile/Kreia and the Exile/party are different. Kreia and the Exile were bonded as both were near death at the beginning of the game. I'm assuming Kreia made sure they were bonded. This bond even though would cause pain to the PC, there is not proof it would kill the other person. Exile and the party bonds is the Exile feeding off the party members force sensitivity. As the party members get stronger so does the Exile in the Force. I'm assuming that the Exile re connected to the Force some time during the adventure ( most likely during the second visit to dantoonie) which means the Exile can feel the force again but this does not remove his ability to feed off others around them. If a party member dies the Exile will not since the Exile will be mainly feeding off the fumes/or glow of the party member's force ability. The Exile's force bond condition is not one that kills when it feeds but simply takes the left overs. As the party member expands its ability the extras increase and so does the bond and the Exile's power/influence on that person. If the Exile losses influence then the force/energy bond is not as strong so there are less feeding but its still there. After all the party member never leaves as if subconscious it has creates a mental bond where the party member feels obligated to stay even if they do not want to. This is shown in a scene where the Pc does an action and the party member follows then says in the game they don't really know what happen..they simply reacted. The Exile's condition is not a light or dark side issue but a grey. It is a condition that allows the Exile to feed off those strong in the force around him. Wither he does good or bad things is not relevant to his condition. His condition does not care. Now the Exile's ability is a point where you can go into a different direction and become more force vampire at a lower level then Nihilus but this is something that has to be experienced or learned. Nihilus's condition is not the Exile but they are in the same family of Force powers This means even after the ending of kotor2 the Exile will always have this condition. The Exile can learn to be aware of it but it will still be there since it was a result of Malachor V's event during the Mando wars. Logan
  7. could i do a video stream but with a logo of my mod and my voice? Does it have to be youtube or can it be another site/method?

    Thanks

  8. Yeah, Zbyl gave me the name.

I'm going to see if i can get the exe file program to work this coming weekend.

    Whats new with you?

  9. Hey,

I wanted to have a thread where i person will read the question and then click a link that will stream a quick time audio of my answer. On other website when you click it it would go to another page where you then see the little player/stream. Is there a way to do that here?

  10. Thanks! I will check that out.

I decided last night that I will be going with the EXE file and might use tslpatcher for only things it can only do.

I feel a lot batter now and I have been hitting the polish button on these modules...which are coming out nicely.

I want to say thanks for all the help and information =)

  11. Hey, what EXE file program did you use for TSLRCM?

I'm looking at using an exe file instead of the tsl patcher

  12. Hey, want to let you know there is a good chance that i will need you to download a new version of Beta since i plan to not use the TSL patcher due to it is having issues installing files correctly. Sometime there are no faces or that it just not install and has some type of warning/error.

The other reasons are that it has slowed things up where i feel i lost 5 days of modding with this program and the other is I can use an exe file which you will probably get instructions to just dump into override or modules folder. Plus I have a feeling RoR will be to big for tsl pacther there is nothing this big that the patcher has dealt with.

  13. Hey what EXE file setup do you use for TSLRCM? Thinking of just using the exe and making everything universal to the 2da appearance i have?

  14. nope thats not it, it does install the mod files first

Is there a limit to the tslpatcher? Can it only hold or install a certan number of files at a time?

  15. Oh!!!,

The modules are at the bottom of the pacther's list/folders

How do i move it higher? Do i have to do it in not pad? or is there a way in changeedit program

    Thanks

Going see if i can get modules up higher and see what happens

  16. Nope its not the readme issue.

Going to change the appearance of the npc, since it was using a new appearance maybe that was the issue.

When placing a new appearance for a NPC, do you use Appearance_type in the gff/section of patcher's noc's utc or do you use PropertiesList\0\Subtype?

I got things running well, but now its just a matter of this error.

    Thanks in advance

  17. Hey,

What kind of error is this in the tslpatcher? Do you know what is the issue?

    This is from the installlog

"Adding file "corsold5.utc" to archive "cmerch.mod"...

    • Modifying GFF file corsold5.utc...

    • Finished updating GFF file "corsold5.utc" in "Modules\cmerch.mod"...

    • Error: Unhandled exception: Access violation at address 00472D96 in module 'TSLPatcher.exe'. Read of address 00000000 (0)

    "

    Thanks in advance

    logan

  18. Yup I was given permission to use the module from that mod.
  19. Hey,

I was wondering who did you use for the spell check in your mod?

I'm asking since I'm in need of a person to test and their main focus is on grammar and spelling.

    Thanks

    Logan

  20. Back with some more pics. At the Jedi Temple with a Jedi meditating A Jedi master instructing Younglings (The hands will be fixed) Now with Shiny Armor MORE TO COME.....
  21. Thanks for the help.

I think I will be doing a mix of tsl patcher and drag and drop. Some files will not try to make compatible with other mods but in a way most mods deal with kotor2 while this is basically a new game. Will be giving a detail install instruction and how you can switch between ror and kotor2 on a fly.

  22. Is there any other way to attach an 2da appearance to a utc in the patcher other than a 2dmemory?

    Thanks

    Sorry for all the questions

  23. If i simply place the dlg file in the install ,into the override file, it will override the file that's in game as if it was done manually?

Rigth now i'm installing ncs files but for one that already exist ingame an i just alter do i just treat like in manual where i place in override folder? I don't need to edit existing just make sure it over rides.

Thanks for the help and look forward to the tutorials/video or test for the exe file or the tsl patcher.

    Logan

  24. I agree looking at other change.ini files help a lot. When it comes to dlg files for the override how does this work if i'm altering an existing one like the workbench? Also When do I need to place the .nss files in the installer? How do jrl file work with the installer? Right now I just have it to install the new jrl but what if players have one with new entries?

What are the pit falls to look out for?

I already know that the patcher can't install everything since it will over load/go over the max entries if i try to place all the override folders as install.

Looking at players placing teh override files from an override folder at download and place them in themselves.

Give you an idea, patcher files and the override for RoR is about 1.18 gigs so far.....

    Thanks for the help

    Logan

  25. With dlg files that would go into the override folder for example,...I have a new work bench dlg file. Does this go into the install section on the bottom of the patcher? or the GFF section?
