I really like your Revan robes, I like the colour choices for the masks!
I can't see Jedi temple inspired robes on your last edit though.

This will be another popular mod release!
I never expected you to release a K1 version of your NPC portrait pack so soon. The amount of variation you've done is incredible, it was great fun testing the mod out. The textures are really great, the droids are my favourite, as I've noticed you've applied flashing lights not applied to the regular droid skins, kudos! I honestly can't say which is my absolute favourite though.
This will be a permanent fixture in my K1 Override
10/10!

Holy Hell some of those crystal benefitsare game breaking. Cool mod, but I'll definitely be lowing some of those benefits.
A force sensitive Kinrath is a really cool idea. Are the animations messy when she uses the force or not really?
Yeah they are pretty OP. I guess I leaned too heavy on the stats from the crystal in TSL that it's based on.
She kind of just stands there whilst she force drains you or force pushes you, the drain comes from her body. I still don't think it looks too bad.
Three Jedis with lightsabers couldn't take her down, but for the third try I brought Mission and had her keep throwing grenades. We had a shred of vitality left, but we won. The upgradeable crystal is fun - and it was a good fight. Might dial her back a little, though. ;-)
All about utilizing Missions sneak attack after they're stunned by grenades / force powers.
-
I knew she'd be difficult to take down, the meagre bosses you find in Kotor 1 inspired me to create a new ruthless mini-boss in the crystals cave, you get a lot more crystals than usual and can upgrade the new Personalised crystal quite quickly so she evens the odds in a way.
I was able to defeat her on difficult with shields, stims, grenades etc at level 9, but I took out the lesser Kinrath first before taking on the Queen. But she's a potent force user, and at lower health she gets rather nasty. As an alternative to fighting her outright use the demolitions backpack which gives you enough mines to kill her, and then some. -
Which cantina are you looking to have it in?
There's a quite a few characters that are drunk or labelled drunk in K1/K2 it'd be fun if the player got drunk as well, I'd also love a conversation with Canderous/HK-47 whilst drunk!
Opinion: Master, you are quite drunk, do you want me to kill all these meatbags?

Can't you just rename the .UTI's to a non-unique item and then create new .UTI's for the respective unique items and place them in specific places in the game?
-
Well, if I can take that as blanket permission to use TSLRCM's loot script as the basis for a mod, then this is something I'll look into. Not soon, because I'm not allowed to work on other things at the moment, but it is a matter I'd like to explore before I play the game again. I think it would only take me a day or two to inventory all the game's unique items and then edit the loot script to never drop any duplicates. Maybe make some other tweaks while I'm at it.
I believe the TSLRCM source code was released as a modders resource anyway wasn't it?
And a mod to make it so you can't get like 10 Freedon Nadd pistols/Freyyr warblades in one playthrough is a good idea.
-
This is a seriously well created mod, with an excellent amount of choice that will suit everyone. I love it. You've even pointed to their exact location via map screenshots hahaha!
Very well done 10/10!

Yeah in Kotor 2 there's a Jolees Robe and a Malaks Robe with interesting properties.
Good luck in finding them though haha.
-
Yes definitely, but for the last few years I never sought out any particular item as I've concentrated more on the unique items when I played. I only just remembered spending a lot of time playing and replaying a few missions to try and find Jolees Robes. But I can remember hearing you have to be level 50 to acquire it and it's only at a few locations. The unique robes were the rarest items in the vanilla game.
I honestly don't know how the loot is distributed, as I've spent nowhere near as much time modifying Kotor 2 files as I have modifying Kotors files.
And I'm not asking for spoilers as to where it is but is Jolees Robes at a specific location in TSLRCM? Or was it just added to the loot drops in some way?
-
That added on to his character, and everyone's got that one trait/weakness about them that can be considered a flaw. Some are more noticeable than others. In Calo's case, it was his short height. That made him a much more enjoyable character. I like to think half of the reason why he takes no sh!t from anyone is because he was mocked for his height so often.
He has a good background also. Very intriguing.
He's a good character. I always preferred him over to Bandon, who had a shamefully low game time.
But it's definitely his equipment that was the most threatening thing about him. He wasn't the toughest battle in the game but he's up there.
-
To this day I can't remember if I've ever found Jolees Robes in TSL. I can remember that I always used a very unmodified version of the game on PC in the beginning, but I played well over 15+ playthroughs on my Xbox original before playing the game on PC.
The only method I knew of to get his robes at the time on Xbox original was spamming a save right before speaking to Fassa the docking master for Vogga on Nar Shaddaa. Upon completion of his pylon quest you receive an item that was possible to be Jolees Robes. I could never actually get his robes though.
I did try spamming the infinite hssiss glitch as early as possible a few times but I still wasn't able to find Jolees Robes. I also never found Malaks robes in TSL, but I was only really concerned with not finding Jolees Robes to be fair.
The one thing I didn't like about the random loot in TSL was having multiple Freedon Nadd Blasters in one playthrough, or other multiple unique items.
The last few playthroughs I've used on the PC version has had a lot of mods, and I've not actually concentrated on acquiring Jolees Robes, as I've had like 100+ mods installed.
Has anybody ever found Jolees Robes before? Or have I been unlucky?

2. First of all I will do the environment Textures and I also plan to redo at least the weapons models + completely new textures here for the future.
I can't remember where but you've posted some really beautiful weaponry pictures before on some other site.

May I suggest a proper mod release for this?
It might be a tiny modification but it'd still be sad if it got lost as a link in this thread.
I have spent the last couple of hours trying to track down all DP's fixes. I've missed a few threads before and there's some really epic fixes dotted about Deadlystream.

Now this is a reply!
I really like the songs you've posted. Like a Stone is a heartbreaking song, I'd love to have heard him sing it live. RIP.

I think it is his best reskin.

yea, but he has a lot if his own work aswell
Apologies that came out wrong haha, I should of said "He has a lot of good videos, but some are getting taken down so don't be too upset when you can't find it". Apologies.
Did anyone watch the last episode of Flash? That paired with this song almost bought a tear to my eye:

You should try this YT channel https://www.youtube.com/user/LucasKingPiano/videos
I've heard of his channel for a couple of month, he has a version of The Force Theme that lasts an hour that's pretty spectacular.
A lot of his videos keep getting taken down though, so I'd look out for that.

I feel like food markets or black markets would be the place where people would get their food, you could even add a part where someone gets food poisoning from an off world food and is dying and your character can attempt to either use the force or use treat injury on them to save that person. And maybe you can smuggle fresh food from other worlds and get a profit for the food.
And have a interplanetary coffee corporation called Nar-Bucks.

I mostly just listen to certain video game or anime soundtracks. Some movies too (Like Blade Runner and Mad Max Fury Road for example). It depends on what I feel like listening to, I suppose. I've been listening to some Carpenter Brut and Gorillaz as of late.
I love listening to movie soundtracks.
Carpenter Brut is a new one for me but I've been listening to Gorillaz for a while now, they're great.

The animation is literally called "stealth". It can be found in S_Male02 (i.e. it is shared by both sexes).
Thanks for the advice.
Is it possible to change the movement speed whilst in stealth mode in Kotor 1 by changing the values in animations.2da?
-
A supermodel is the model that another model draws its animations from. For example, player models draw their animations from a chained series of supermodels with various shared and unique male/female animations. When the game tells the model to play a specific animation, it checks if that animation is included in the model, if not then it looks at the specified supermodel and checks it for the animation (and further on, if it also references a supermodel itself, like for players). "Super" in this sense just means "above", referring to the fact that the model with the animations is higher up the chain in terms of priority.
The original C_Terentatek model has unique animations. For the scaled versions I just imported geometry only, scaled up the scene, changed the name of the AuroraBase, changed the animation scale value to match the world scale change, and then changed the supermodel from null to C_Terentatek. Thus the scaled versions have no inherent animations themselves, they rely on the original model for those.
Thanks for the great advice as ever!!
Do you know what part of the chained series of supermodels for the player that controls the stealth animation?

You'll have to speak to Fairstrides as he's modified a few tools before.
Whilst I have no knowledge on this subject I always get excited when a programmer wants to add more utilities / functions to the tools at our disposal. I wish you the best of luck and welcome to Deadlystream!
