The funny thing about Reshade is that it all depends on the Preset you use. A bunch of people don't understand what the shaders actually do, and so create seriously painful combinations that look "different" enough that others think they are improvements due to our inherent search for variety.

You can literally change anything including the "Smart Sharpen" that the user no doubt added or remove the offending effects yourself.

I guess I'll give it another try later. I just downloaded the first link that popped up for searching "reshade Kotor" on google, which led me to a build on Deadlystream. I've seen some other reshade builds, but even they're not that much better.  The bloom either feels too obnoxious or feels insignificant. Maybe I'm just too picky, I've seen before and after reshade comparisons for Kotor and I'm just not buying it.
