    Version 1.4

It had to be updated eventually . . . Here's my first very small mod. Updated. Yet again. AUTHOR: Sith Holocron ORIGINAL RELEASE: 13 SEP 2012 UPDATED RELEASE: 24 DEC 2012 CATHALAN RELEASE: 28 MAR 2016 COMBINED RELEASE: 08 APR 2016 GAMES: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords Description: ============ The Galaxy Map texture of the Ebon Hawk was originally sized at 128x128. The texture is now sized to 512x512. In addition to the resolution bump, the actual texture is now animated. As the texture file is named the same in both KotOR games, the mod should be usable in both games. However: I don't suggest using this with Knights of the Old Republic 1, if seeing planets only seen in Knights of the Old Republic 2 causes any measure of distress. (Use the KOTOR version instead found here. (http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/724-kotor1-animated-galaxy-map/) There are now FOUR different versions that you can use! Version 1: The original planets as laid out in the original un-modded game but animated and at higher resolution. Version 2: In addition to the original planets, I've added Coruscant and M4-78 to the map. Version 3: Mostly like Version 2 but with Cathalan added to the planet roster. Version 4: This is the "April Fool's Version" of the Galaxy Map as described in this post. (http://deadlystream.com/forum/topic/4304-april-fools-an-exciting-mod-to-appear-on-deadly-stream-soon/?do=findComment&comment=44585) Condensed Description for Version 4 as follows: =============================================== April Fools! I still think the orange people in the Cathalan mod are ridiculous. My mockery for the Cathalan mod is on full display in this Galaxy Map. (See the News announcement for April 1st, 2016 for screenshots.) Though [Version 4] is meant for Knights of the Old Republic 2 - as Cathalan was an awful mod made for K2 - this mod can and will work in KotOR1 if the installation instructions below are followed. Installation: ============= First, choose which of the four versions you want to use. For Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2 - Extract the "LEH_scre03.tga" and the "LEH_scre03.txi" files into the SWKotOR2/Override folder. For Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1 - Extract the "LEH_scre03.tga" and the "LEH_scre03.txi" files into the Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic/Override folder. Uninstallation: =============== Take them out again. Known Bugs: =========== None known at this time. WARNING: You must download all seven (7) parts of the BoS 1.0 before trying to unpack them. The unpacker should unpack them all in a row if you start unpacking the .part01.rar file!!! A note about the 1.5 bundled release: The 1.5 bundled release has some bugs fixed, but it is also in preparation for an eventual 2.0 release that will only have 1 installer. This 1.5 release still has both the 1.0 and the 1.1 downloads, so you will need to download both files. Bugs fixed by this bundled release are listed below. This pack includes several fixes for BoS:SR, done by LiliArch. Source files included. Original 1.0 Review from Filefront: Original 1.1 Review from Filefront:

This mod replace the default voice-over used by the Elder Droids with the Legends rendition. # Background # It was one fine evening when I take a walk inside the Elder's Settlement. I wonder how them droids sounds like, and then... why do they sounded like T3? So I wanted to experience something else, then I remember back in the Ancient Ruins of Dantooine there was a similar droid there that has something different with it. Apparently it was speaking Rakatan's language that the PC did not recognized. I decided that I had to incorporate that with the droid then, hence the making of this mod. # About this Mod # This mod replace the default voice-over used by the Elder Droids with the Legends rendition. The sound was made using an inverted Rakatan's voice-over with added droid-like filters on top of it. By concept it gave an idea that the droids were speaking an epitome of language that the PC did not understand [in Bastila's voice], resulting in addition of changing the spoken line of the droids. It also changes the bubble-bark conversation to a cinematic one. For a distinctive look at what the mod does, here is the preview - # Final Remarks # There's always room for improvements; critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks for the next update are very much appreciated. PM, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! Installation: run the installer and choose INSTALL option, then hit the [Install Mod ->] button! Uninstallation: Choose the UNINSTALL option in the installation menu Additionally you may want to remove eb_elderdrd_ANGM.wav from the streamwaves folder Compatibility: For maximum compatibility, install this mod at the latter stage of your mod's build Will not be compatible with any mods that hard-overwrite the Elder Settlement/unk_m42aa module Pay attention to the patcher's warning messages upon installing the mod. If it tells you that it found an instance of k_hdroid1_dialog.dlg and unk42_elddroidXYZ.utc in the Override folder, then there might be a compatibility issue indeed For this mod to be fully effective you should at least load a saved game before entering the Elder Settlement [unk_m42aa] module The mod is play-tested with the latest version of KotOR 1 Restoration/K1R and is compatible with it. At the other hand, it was only by far tested with K1:Community Patch/K1CP v1.7, though assets-wise, there's nothing to be conflicted with the 1.8 version Redistribution: do not redistribute this mod or re-release it on any websites. I'd love to provide direct support to my work, which wouldn't be possible if they're scattered in the Unknown Regions. If you are to re-use an assets to a project you will be releasing, you don't have to ask for permission - but your generous intention is very much welcome. I'd love to know what others are up too, particularly if my work are included. And then, make sure to give credits to BioWare & LucasArts with the release - as without them the enjoyment would be non-existent. A bit of appreciation to this lil' peasant work here is also a very warm welcome, welcome. This is a companion to my TSL Main Menu Model Fix for Widescreen mod. In a similar manner, it adjusts the model file for K1's main menu so that it properly fills the full screen width of widescreen aspect ratios (i.e. 16:9, 16:10). It is designed to be used in conjunction with ndix UR’s KotOR High Resolution Menus mod (as pictured). Because the original vanilla background texture is very low resolution, it looks pretty terrible when scaled up to fullscreen at 1080 (or above). I created a new, higher resolution background texture that approximates the same look. As of v1.1, an optional replacement logo is provided. This is a TOR-style version of the logo, created by GOG. Two versions are provided, one of which is offset in order to better align using the current version of ndix UR's GUI mod. A centered version is also provided in the even that the GUI mod is updated. Note that I have only tested this at 1080. I have no idea how the image may be positioned at different resolutions. Obviously this mod will not be compatible with any other mod that also alters/replaces the menu model. As mentioned, it is intended to be used with ndix UR’s UI mod, and serves no real purpose without that mod. N.B.: This is NOT a widescreen mod! This is just an addition for when you are already using a widescreen mod like UniWS. Installation Instructions Extract the archive, copy the MDL, MDX, and TGA files, and paste them into your Override folder. If you also wish to use the upscaled vanilla logo or the TOR-style logo, copy the appropriate version to your Override folder as well. Acknowledgements Thanks to @bead-v for MDLEdit and KOTORMax that made editing and compiling the menu model possible. Thanks to @ndix UR for testing the mod and various discussions pertaining to its development, as well as all the behind-the-scenes work in getting the new mod tools off the ground. Thanks to @JCarter426 for helping out with filtering via waifu2x to clean up some of the aliasing
