Hey there everyone! This is my first lightsaber mod that I've made, so go easy on me alright? :)

 

This mod adds in plenty of lightsabers to the game to keep you satisfied, all customized as well as upgradeable. Every crystal except for one includes all three variations of the lightsabers (Short, normal, and double-bladed)

 

Anyways, this mod includes the following:

 

8 Solid-colored, awesome looking lightsabers

7 Duel-colored, awesome looking lightsabers (The core and outer glow are different colors)

5 Color changing, amazing animated lightsabers. That might be a bias opinion, but oh well :)

 

I have randomly placed the lightsabers throughout the game, some are hidden, others are in obvious areas. I wanted to mention however, that there is one lightsaber that is hidden so well, I don't think anyone will be able to find it. Trust me, it's really well hidden, and in an unexpected spot.

 

WARNING (YES, I HAVE TO TYPE IT IN ALL CAPS): THERE IS ONE LIGHTSABER (The very well hidden one) THAT IS ONLY AVAILABLE IN THE DOUBLE-BLADED FORM!!!! IF YOU TRY TO PUT THE CRYSTAL IN A SHORT OR NORMAL LIGHTSABER, IT WILL GLITCH OUT THE ITEM, AND DISAPPEAR! BE CAREFUL!

 

Installation:

Just run the TSLPatcher and let it do its work.

 

Manual:

Copy and paste all items into your override, but be careful since there's an upcrsystals.2da, which could severally mess up te lightsabers if you have any other mods. I can't guarantee compatibility.

 

Uninstallation:

 

Remove all of the files from your override, and throw in the backup of the upcrystals.2da into your override.

 

Anyways, while I always prefer people to find the items in-game itself, you can always cheat them in. Here are the codes for every item:

Then there's the secret one that I'm not giving the codes for. Remember, don't use that one in a lightsaber other than a double-bladed!!!!

Btw, in case you do find it, it's called: "Ultimatum" and it's pretty funky/weird…

PART 2

 

This is part two of the readme, so whatever I guess. I'll make this one shorter. Anyways, the second mod of this mod adds in 20 new power crystals to the game. (The ones that actually give the lightsabers stats!!!) I really hope you guys understand how tedious the 1,800 tests were. Yes, 1,800 tests. Now, I know that's noter like what Hassat Hunter had to do for TSLRCM, but that's still a lot in my opinion.

 

Anyways, I included the saber crystals to different areas of the game. You will find one power crystal with one of the other lightsabers, so that's a bonus. Can you get lucky and find the really good ones??? We'll see :)

 

While I prefer you to actually find the crystals in-game, you can always cheat them in…

Thank you to all of my supporters out there who really were excited to see this mod come out. I spent a lot of time working and testing out these crystals and sabers. Again, 1,800 minimum tests. And thanks to Varsity Puppet and Darth InSidious for help on trying to fix a problem that i was having. Thanks to Fair Strides again for helping like always, and finding the problem. Thanks to him, I was able to come up with a fix of the problem, although it isn't very pretty.

Due to me suddenly strapping to SWTOR I never got to explore on Tat, but my best guess is that its in the Krayt Dragon cave or a Wicker Bin in the enclave :)

*If I'm right I think I deserve a cookie for this*

Gotta be a wicker bin.  I just finished the Kray Dragon cave, and it's no where in there.  I'm not leaving Tatooine without this crystal! :P

After scouring all of Tatooine I don't know how many times, I have to come to the conclusion that the "Ultimatum" crystal is not located on the planet.  I've searched everywhere. Multiple times.  So unless it didn't install correctly, it's nowhere on Tatooine.

Hi, sorry for the late reply! Trust me, it's on the map. It's just really, really well hidden and in a spot that no one would think of :)

Is this mod not compatible with K1R? After installing it I can no longer upgrade the Prototype Vibroblade, despite having the Vibration Cells.

Hmm, I have never heard of that problem before. This mod does not touch anything but the lightsabers.

I'm having the same question. The patcher skipped 7 files in common with K1R. I also found an odd error log when my game crashed: "Names Differ: w_Dblsbr_003 w_dblsbr_060"

^Oddly enough, I'm also unable to add the vibration cell upgrade to my Prototype Vibroblade, though other upgrades still work.

yep happened to me too. I found out that if i had a cell inside the upgrade slot tough on a save before the mod, it stays there, but if i get it out it can not be put back.

I'm having an issue that when I put the new upgrade crystals in my lightsaber, after I hit the assemble button they change to vanilla crystals with vanilla properties. How do I fix this?

i just started got to taris undercity and i can't upgrade the prototype or mission's vibroblade with the vibration cell

hi just an update i made a clean game installed this and the backpack mod so i could modify weapons on the endar spire gave myself the prototype vibroblade and the cell and it can't be put in it also shows blank where it normally says what bonus it would provide

The ideia is nice but the mod itselfs has some problems:

 

After this mod is installed you can`t upgrade melee weapons with vibration cell

 

The new power crystals dont work with vanilla saber colors or any new color that isnt from this mod.

 

With the new colors some vanilla power crystals have different stats while some others keep their original stats.

 

Hopefully the author can update this mod as the new colors and power crystal are really nice and dont feel overpowered.

It's sad that this mod that appears in "K1R compatible" lists is actually, well, broken when used with the restoration pack.

Several modules are used by both and installer skip them too...

Also, I'd change and remove the lightsaber/crystal codes in the 60s range as several older mods actually use those.

Fixed it! Just remove upgrade.2da from your override directory, as the one mod installs doesn't have any lines changed anyway... now Vibration Cells work, even in savegames where they didn't.

Mod is awesome,but i've been searching for that crystal everywhere like crazy,just give me a hint:is it in Anchorhead or outside in desert,i found other crystals,but not that hidden one.Keep it up.

Same problem here but your fix hasn't worked to me.

I've installed this MOD before leave Taris and reach Dantooine, after removing upgrade.2da file the only thing I get is that in the wokbench only is shown the Light Saber upgrade option, but ALL the items (LS, fire weapons, swords and armors) are mixed all together in that option, but I just can try to upgrade the Light Saber, I cannot do nothing with anything else, even using a Save before leave Taris and reach Dantooine.
