PANEL Overhaul animated (Mass Effect Edition) 1.6

About This File

In this overhaul all major panels, workbenches and the computer panel background are remade from the scratch and animated.

I tried very hard to merge the sophisticated ME3 look with original Kotor - and used only 4k/64 pics animations/uncompressed files to get a proper look -

so yes - the mod size is indeed ~500MB.

To get the most out of it i suggest that you guys download Xarwarz OTE series first, then override everything with my mod.

Install:

Download the mod, extract it with an archive extraction program like 7zip or WinRAR, then move the extracted files to your game's override directory.

Compatibility:

100% compatible with TSLRCM & M478. As pure texture replacer it should be compatible with everything else.

IF you want to install Xarwarz OTE texture PLC files, then install them FIRST, then override everything with my mod.

Enjoy!

Fabulous work here! The images a just brilliant. I can't wait to see them in game.

Thats nice, thanks!

Btw, ive uploaded a second version 1.5 of the Companel, and suggest everyone who has already downloaded ver 1.0 of the mod to download part1 again and overwrite, since its much more polished..

Do you have any idea how to fix the issue i'm having - the workbenches and lab stations are now constantly glitching out and not showing properly, as well as the backgrounds in the computer backgrounds not functioning properly

Double check that you don't have files with the same name that are included in this mod installed elsewhere in your override folder, namely pnl_computer_pc.tga. If your lab stations and workbenches are still glitching, Try this:

1) find pcl_workbench_pc.tga, and pcl_upgrade_pc.tga anywhere in your override

2) delete these files

3) duplicate pnl_computer_pc.tga and pnl_computer_pc.txi each TWICE

4) rename one set of the .tga and .txi files to pnl_workbench_pc and the other set to pcl_upgrade_pc

This should allow the menu background for panels to work for everything

Addendum -- anywhere I said pcl I mean pnl

I have a bit of an...unusual problem. The computer panels, the big ones, with the three panels...are backward. As in the texture that should render on the front is rendering on the back and vice versa. Thus far it has affected the Harbinger and Telos but doesn't seem to have affected Peragus for some reason or another.

Any chance there will be a fix for wide screen/steam version support? The backgrounds aren't working properly. I remember having the same issue with the pazaak mod you made. I remember how they looked though before widescreen they were pretty awesome and I'm pretty bummed I don't know how to make them work

You're not installing them correctly.

Your comment made me take another look at it and I figured out it was the widescreen ui mod from steam overwriting over it thanks!

I’ve managed to get all other panels to work and the workbench screen but the workbench itself is a glitchy/static box, If someone has an idea or answer to my problem please let me know.

I have resolved my issues.
