About This File

Making lightsabers is incredibly easy!

1. Go to the Workbench and select "Use Saber Console"

2. Choose "Create a hilt", choose a model and a color

3. The hilts are like a lightsaber crystal. Just equip it into the crystal spot and voila!

It comes with its own installer, but I assure you it's not malicious.

If you run into incorrect colors, simply switch out the crystal at a workbench and rebuild the lightsaber.

HOLOWAN DUPLISABER v.215b

Chainz.2da

Darth Deadman Evasto Inyri Forge OldFlash Qui-Don Jorn Quanon Seprithro Svosh T7Nowhere TriggerGod VarsityPuppet

This mod expands the current lightsaber selection to include 59 different hilts, 13 different colors and long-bladed lightsabers.

There are 59 total saber hilts to choose from, and they are available in 13 different colors, making for 767 possibilities.

Future versions will integrate the saber hilts into the game as prizes and earnable or collectible items.

Installation:

Just click "Install" and wait for the progress bar to finish. If the installer closes early, the installation was not successful.

Using the mod:

Once in game, go to any workbench and you should have the option to open up the Saber Console. From the Saber Console, you can choose any hilt and the color of that hilt. This will give you a "hilt" item that you can use at a workbench to create a lightsaber. Simply switch out the color crystal for the desired hilt and it will change your lightsaber. Due to the nature of the game engine, you can even change the type of the weapon based on the hilt you choose. Changing from short to long to single to double is as easy as switching out a hilt.

Disclaimer: This mod was built to be compatible with all mods (TSLRCM and M4-78 included). Any errors you encounter either come from a conflict caused by another mod or are a result of an installation error.

DO NOT MESS WITH THE FILE FOLDERS. DOING SO WILL RUIN THE INSTALLATION.

Credits:

This mod was made from saber mods for which I asked for permission to use or were already open for free use. Each lightsaber is marked in-game with its original designer in its description.

Amazing mod :) But does anyone get flickering hilts? Like I only see the design at certain angles then it turns into just the mesh.

i'd like to report a bug. IDK if the creator is  still active or so.. i just wanted to say 1.) When you choose a saber color EX: Red Crystal Quantity: 5 when you use it to create a lightsaber. all 4 of the crystals would be consumed.. meaning doesn't matter how many color crystals of that particular color you have.. when you create a hilt and choose RED. it will all consume 4 crystals . 2.) When fighting Dark jedi's or Darth sion or Darth nihilus. i think this is a bug about the red single  crystal. because when i fight a dark apprentice, instead of them using red saber, they are using a green saber and a different hilt.. i examined the problem its because the red crystal is bugged. , the red crystal says "Red" (normal hilt) but it instead shows green and the HILT changes from normal hilt to a modified hilt when you change the color to "RED" i know when u change the color crystal (normal ones) ,the hilt should stay the same. (but the dark jedi that uses double blade doesn't have this problem , the crystal stays red) .

Update:

it only happens on dark jedi's and darth sion on Korriban. but if yu fight darth sion in Malachor V, hell be using a red crystal.

I hope you can fix this, thanks!

I have tried everything I can think of. Please, if anyone else has had the problem where Everything

worked...however they can not choose the freaking color of the saber, and therefore the mod is unuseable PLEASE respond... I feel like I am so god damned close. So frustrating, I would like to enjoy this incredible content. I have TSLRCM- the robot planet...and many other mods but I have seen above this is a common problem.... Solution por favor!! (I loaded the mod both on my Workshop override folder for TLSRCM, SteamApps>Workshop>Content?208580>485537937 and the standard Apps>common>TSLKOTOR place.

Advice?!

Got the colors to show up if I followed an above person's advice and moved the files from the Sabercontent folder into the C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\208580\485537937 folder directly. and when I selected a saber it does SAY, Created...and I even "lose and Item"... so somethings happening. However.... all my lightsaber animations turn into something that looks like a giant square bat on acid. I.E, It looks like the I.e it looks like that game is trying to put several skins on the saber (Just the beam) texure at once? I am not sure.... any advice would be appreciated. (I Do have several mods activated. I tried emptying out as many as I could, and I made sure that this program overrided ever file in both the standard override and the above mentioned steam override folder.

to Whom it may concern. I went through the process of taking off 100% of every mod I had. And I got it to work beautifully.... I am going to start adding mods back on to see which one fucks it up. don't know why I am posting here...but maybe it will help someone someday

Final message: If you have the problems that I had...check your various override folders... Jesus I had some other lightsaber mod buried in some random other mod. Just killed me. Got rid of it, Alllll Aces. great mod though...worth the effort to get it going. Cheers!

Final final addendum. If you are having the problem that everything SEEMS to be working, but the stupid bench won't make anything for you...somewhere in your mod's you have something that is affecting the "Globalcat.2da" file...such popular mods that affect this include the m7-89 whatever Droid planet.... I removed that indivudal final from that mod....everything works... I do not know what affect it will have on the droid planet mod, I am hopefull that is is not game breaking...but we shall see.

Just can't seem to get it to work. Really frustrating. With installing it into the workshop override I actually got the saber console option to show up. It's okay until I get to the colour choice. There's only one option there ''Go back''.

Ah well, this time I only installed it in the workshop override folder instead of in the original override as well. Now it just catapults me out of the console if I try to click the saber console option :/

Does anyone know if this mod works fine with the steam version of the game? I've read that there were some issues with the steam version.

Hey so, when I click on the exe it says the exe can not be run with this program (I believe I don't even have one.) Can I just put the Project Files into my override folder? Thanks!

Maybe I'm mistaken, but when I went through the rebuilt Enclave, it looked like the Jedi masters had their proper hilts. I've also encountered a strange bug - I've got another hilt mod and Traya and Nihilus have got Dxun Veteran lightsabers and Sion has got a default one.

So I've been trying to figure this out for about two days now but when I installed it it doesn't show any option on the workbench. Also I'm at the part of the story where I create a saber and no matter what color I choose it gives me some other color of the "Dxun Saber". I'm real new to mods for this game or any game for that matter so any help would be much appreciated.

I would even be fine deleting the mod entirely but nothing seems to work right now.

When I run the installer, it creates a folder within my override (Saber Console). In there are a ton of files, as well as a backup folder and such. Should all those files be in the base override folder? I'd like to be able to actually use the mod.

Finally I manage to put this mod to work, thanks to @duk3nuk3m, @jojy123 and @sklairis.

Summarizing:

(I'm asumming that the only mod from steam workshop installed is TSLRCM, otherwise I suggest make a proper installation).

1- In workshop folder override (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\208580\485537937\override) copy the files from "saberconsole" folder and copy them to the actual override folder of the game, where it would normally be installed (C:\--------\SteamApps\common\Knights of the Old Republic II\override).

This will fic the blank icons, at least in my case. But you won't put any color on your hiilt already.

2- Install the mod too on this location (C:\--------\SteamApps\common\Knights of the Old Republic II\override).

Now, probably, the mod is working. You can put any cristal color on your hiilt, you can buy them in the same saber console.

3-If you only see the meshes but not the textures make this posted by duk3nuk3m:

Go into the game folder and open the swkotor2.ini

look under Graphics Options

find the line: DisableVertexBufferObjects=1

Rewrite it so that it looks like this: Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1

I don't understand the solution but it worked for me, I hope it will work for someone looking for help.

Excuse my english!

Sorry for the double post, in 2, the folder where we have to install the mod like any other with TLSpatcher is :C:\--------\SteamApps\common\Knights of the Old Republic II (don't point to the override folder)

Anyone else have an issue where the Saber console options exist in the workbench...but the colors do not display when it comes to picking one?

For some reason I can't upgrade any lightsaber at a workbench. I used a savegame editor to add a few different lightsabers and crystal to see if Duplisaber works correctly after I reinstalled the game. Im currently at the Droid Maintence on Peragus and no lightsabers show up on the upgrade screen at the workbench.

I got it working before but that was a few months ago so I don't know what I did to get it working. This time I used to installation instruction for the steam version by mserto and it all worked up until now.
