About This Mod:

The goal of this mod is to make Citadel Station feel a little less empty than it originally does. It attempts to tie in some lore to the Medical Unit, Czerka, and Citadel Station, and opens up previously inaccessible areas.

It also aims to change up some of the NPC's on Citadel Station by giving them more varied appearances and dialogue options, attempting to remove some of the cloning effect found in the original game. It adds a few alien commoners around the station with new dialogue, and also changes the appearances of a few of the human commoners. In addition, some of Ithorians in the compound have been changed so that they're not all blue. There is also new lines of dialogue given to each of the Ithorian's, so that all five of them don't repeat the same three lines.

Disclaimer:

Install TSLRCM before installing this mod, as it relies on content from the docks.

Please only use the latest versions of 1.0.0, or 0.98e.

There are still skill checks in this mod that will just automatically succeed each time. I will try to fix the code/scripts relating to these skill checks if possible, but for some reason, KOTOR 2 does not like to use the scripts/code that it usually does for these things while using Holocron Toolset.

I also want to apologize for any issues and or conflicts with other mods. This is my first time creating a mod for this game. It should work with most mods, but please DM me here or leave a comment regarding any issues you may have while using this mod, so that I can assist you. Usually these things can be simple fixes.

For future reference, I might try to add these characters later into the game at some point for a brief appearance or two. If I can get voice acting to work in game, I plan to add new lines of dialogue to the human commoners as well.

Installation: Just run TSLpatcher.exe, and then put the files from the override folder into the games override folder. Requires TSLRCM to be installed first, since it relies on content from the docks. You must start a new game or load an end of Peragus save for the mod to work.

I also highly recommend using this mod below, if you want to get rid of some of the cloning effect even further in other areas of the game. Use it in conjunction with this mod if you want even more NPC variety on the station.

I don't want to be a downer, and this mod is definitely a good idea on the surface, the medical area on Telos is absolutely barren and underutilized, but it has been an unmitigated disaster for my modlist (no, expanded galaxy is not on that list). Multiple NPCs are the wrong ones: the Ithorian in the exchange has the wrong dialogue, the masked attacker looks like Bastila and the Czerka mercs that attack at the end of the Ithorian route? Half of them are non-hostile. I also stole the medical supplies and was accosted by a TSF officer, who I had to kill. I have no idea what to do with this item. I later found dialogue on Sahman Dobo seemingly hooking into the smuggling quest, however completing it bricks the original quest-line. Removing this mod fixes the mercs at least, however I will be restarting Telos station as the save has been screwed too badly for my liking.

Response from the author:

Thank you for bringing this to my attention, I will try to fix these issues sometime this week.

Update: After doing some tests to see what was causing these issues, I found that I had accidently deleted the row for the masked attacker in the appearance.2da file. I added the row back, and he now appears as he did before. You will likely need to start a new game to fix the conflicts between the Smuggling and Vital Data quests, but everything else should be fine now.

I just want to say that the mod adds more life to the Telos Citadel Station, but I found a major issue when reaching the Telos Academy. The Handmaiden Sisters have been replaced by random men in default clothing. Check that out, and there's one NPC in the cantina who is missing his head.

Response from the author:

I apologize for the somewhat late reply. Are you using any other mods alongside this one and the overhaul mod? I just tested it with a clean install, and using only TSLRCM + the two mods. I'm unable to recreate those issues on my end. Do you know by chance which NPC was missing their head in the cantina? It's possible that there could be another mod that conflicts with the changes made to the appearance.2da or heads.2da files in the override folder.

If you could DM me here a couple screenshots showing the different appearances/heads, that would be super helpful to see if I can determine what could be causing it to happen. And also whatever mods you have/had installed during that time, just in case something could be causing a conflict.
