About This File

Heyorange's Sith Uniform Reformation
A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic
Author: Heyorange (aka Pataschka)
Version: 1.0

DESCRIPTION:
This mod is a bunch of reskins of the sith officer uniforms. Different uniforms with different rank insignias were given to different officers throughout the game to give a bit more realistic look.
Aside from that, the uniform of the Admiral Saul Karath was changed and a new reskin for sith students was added.

The Mod is devided into 3 parts:
1. Heyorange's Sith Uniform Reformation - the main part of the mod
2. Sith Students + Czerka on Korriban fix - reskin of the standart sith uniforms for Korriban sith students and fix for Czerka workers on Korriban to have correct uniforms
3. K1R fix - A reskin of the sith uniform for the added wounded officer on the Leviathan by the K1R modification

INSTALLATION:
This mod doesn't have TSLPatcher so to install it copy desired files to your Override folder:
- If you are using mods such as "Back in Black" or any other mod that changes the uniforms of the sith students and fixes Czerka workers then copy only files from "Heyorange's Sith Uniform Reformation" folder to your Override folder
- If you don't have any mods affecting the appearance of the sith students and czerka officers then copy the files both from "Heyorange's Sith Uniform Reformation" and "Sith Students + Czerka on Korriban fix" folders to your Override folder
- If you are using K1R modification than copy the files from all of 3 folders to your Override folder

COMPABILITY:
Would be incompatible with any mods that change the model of the sith officers. Should work both with vanilla game and K1R.

PERMISSIONS:
I am giving my permission to use any part of this mod to anyone as long as I am credited as the original author

THIS MOD IS NOT SUPPORTED BY LUCASARTS OR BIOWARE. USE THIS FILE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Hi! Thanks) Well, I'm thinking about adding the same sith uniforms to the Kotor 2. Aside from that there is a Reformation Uniform project for Onderon military. I don't know if I'm going to do the same for Republic soldiers though

I found a bug if this is used with K1CP. When the receptionist in the Manaan Sith Base calls for Commander Gran, he's wearing the wrong uniform and most importantly...he's missing his head!

Hm... I've never checked compability with K1CP only with K1R.

If K1CP changes something in the appearance of  Commander Gran then It's understandable that something might have went went wrong, especially if K1CP makes changes in appearance.2da

Your mod is fundamentally incompatible with K1CP because you just dump UTCs in the Override. This will break a whole bunch of K1CP changes across the entire game.

He looks fine outside the Sith Embassay, but he's headless inside it. Also, RC-K1CP is probably responsible because it does this:

"Manaan:
* Commander Grann replies to the Sith Security Officer.

Inside the embassy is the man27 module

In the changes.ini of the RC-K1CP modification

"[InstallList]

...
install_folder7=Modules\manm27aa.mod
...
[install_folder7]
Replace0=man27_sithlieu.dlg

..."

Other then that there no changes to the module whatsoever

Try removing man27_sithdip.utc file from the Override folder and load the savegame before entering the module 27 (Sith Embassy) for the first time.

That's a dialogue edit, my friend. It doesn't touch Grann's appearance.

That being said, I do plan on restoring the unused Sith Officer uniforms at some point, however, I plan to make that restoration an optional installation as it would be incompatible with this mod.

Don't know what's causing him to be headless and wearing a different uniform, then. And sadly, I can't load another save since I've moved on from that part of the game.

It's fundamentally incompatible with K1CP? I've had no issues with it other than Commander Gran wearing the wrong uniform inside and being headless inside the Sith Embassy. Also, is Commander Gran the same Sith Diplomat that's present at Sunry's trial?

I presume the fact that K1CP uses man27_sithdip.utc which I modified in my mode might have caused. It's just there are no other files that are being in use here, so I concluded it should have worked, especially knowing that everything else is working correctly. It's a shane you don't have a savegame before entering the base. You don't even have autosave?

I think I know what the problem might be. I installed a version of redrob41's Echani mod that was in SpaceAlex's unfinished K1 Enhancement Pack. It uses that man27_sithdip.utc file as well. Probably shouldn't use anything in there other than the skins for armors.

If you installed it after my mod then just copy man27_sithdip.utc from my mod into Override folder and replace it. I presume it should help if this mod edits the appearance of the Commander Grann NPC.

Going to do a re-install of KOTOR and not going to touch anything inside SpaceAlex's K1 Enhancement pack. Just going to use redrob41's Echani Mod for the Manaan NPCs. And I also found an Echani Merc in the Hrakert Rift station that was headless and wearing a Jedi robe for some reason! I found a "man28_merc" utc file in the mod, so I won't be using that one.

That'd be a good idea going forward, using the K1EP as a legitimate mod in the 2020's is going to cause a world of pain when using modern mods.

I'm only using the armor reskins from now on.

Not so much a bug as is a weird inconsistency, but the Sith guards inside the Korriban Academy still have their voice lines as if they're speaking from a helmet. A bit odd.

I assumed that the reason a different looking Sith came into the base that you end up killing was done by K1CP due to the fact that exact same Sith (face, uniform, and voice) that is out front of the Sith base is also the same one trying to prosecute Sunry. If you kill him in the base prior to him prosecuting Sunry... that'd make no sense.
