[K1] Recruit Griff Mod

Description:

This mod allows You to recruit Griff, Mission's brother. It adds him as a party member and also adds a few conversation lines with him. He replaces Zaalbar as a companion aboard the Ebon Hawk.
It has been tested and works fine.
This mod is compatible with K1R!

Player Guide:

In order to recruit Griff, You must find him in the Czerke Office on Tatooine, after You have rescued him from the Sand People Enclave. You must give him the Tach Gland and 200 Credits in order to trigger the recruit option!
Make sure to level him up manually, in order to unlock the Armour feats, otherwise if You auto level him up You will not get those feats and he will be unable to wear armour!

Installation:

It is recommended to install this mod before installing other mods like K1R, Yavin IV and BOS:SR. If You have them already installed, just install Recruit Griff mod and then reinstall the other mods again!
To install, just run the TSLPatcher installer and point it to Your KOTOR I install dir!

You should have the following files inside your swkotor/Override folder:
bye_griff.ncs
p_griff.utc
po_pgriff.tga
po_pgriff3.tga
po_pgriff3e.tga
portraits.2da
rec_griff.ncs
griff_dlg.dlg
tat17_griff.dlg

Uninstallation:

To uninstall the mod, just delete the following files from your Override folder:
bye_griff.ncs
p_griff.utc
po_pgriff.tga
po_pgriff3.tga
po_pgriff3e.tga
portraits.2da
rec_griff.ncs
griff_dlg.dlg
tat17_griff.dlg

Do not delete the portraits.2da file, because it could be used by other mods!

Griff no longer has Jedi Powers now, he has been set to the Scout class (originally he was set as a Jedi Consular, i have no idea why the developers did this).

I am hoping to god that this is an April Fools mod, because in my country usually what happens in America is often 'yesterday' for me (April 1st in America is April 2nd for me). There is no way that you've thrown in a "Recruitable gRiFf VaO" mod where Griff has Force Powers apparently and the screenshots are taken using an iPhone when I know that you are capable of producing screenshots one way or another.

The Jedi abilities are because this is how the original .utc file was present in-game, i have not tampered with it in any way other then to make the character recruitable, so it appears Griff had Jedi powers inherently from how the game was designed! I have no idea why he was made that way by the developers...

 

The initial bad quality phone camera screenshots were because my Print Screen key was not working at the time of uploading the mod...

Apparently, I've received a credit in this mod.  Hmmm.  What have I done to deserve this? 

Not sure why Griff looks green in your mod but you obviously need a better profile picture for him.  Make use of this until something better comes along.  (It's pictured below but the attachment is as a TGA, sized at 512 by 512.

Thank you very much for the picture! Now you have a reason to be credited in the mod. ;)

Also, now Griff does not have Jedi powers anymore. It looks like he was made to be a Jedi Consular by the developers, and I have no idea why.  I have now switched him to the Scout class instead.

out of curiosity, how come the only weapon he is capable of wielding his heavy blasters? And no armor? Luckily I had an armor mod that doesn't need the armor feat, so that with Ordo's repeating blaster meant he's actually usable, but it makes the most interesting looking griff I've ever sen lol
