Salk Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 Hello! I suppose it's not possible to do something like that? If that's the case, I find it to be a rather serious limitation and it'd be one more thing that the former BioWare engine Infinity supported. 1 Quote

Edit: oh, K1... yeah, that's a no 1 Quote
Pwener Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 In K1 you can add Feats to a character and then give the item the "Required Feat" using Kotor Tool. For example, Juhani already has her feat that shows you she is scripted to always have the Stealth Field ability. Bastila has Battle Meditation, and so on. There're this mod that gives Canderous unique armors but does so by giving the armor the "disguise" trait and anyone that equips it turns into Canderous with the armor. I added a feat with no effect, made a description for it in the dialog.tlk, gave it to Canderous and for an icon I used one from another mod that was the Mandalorian emblem. I gave the feat to Canderous and so now only he can wear the armors. I've been able to pull off some really strange things by being creative with Kotor and taking advantage of things in the Kotor tool I have not seen anyone else do. 3 Quote
DeathScepter Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 Mission=Master's Luck feat(a lvl 12 feat that Scoundrel Revan with a 8/12 build can't get) can tied new equipment Juhani=Force Camofluage Bastila=Battle Meditiation Hk-47=Combat Droid class can have unique equipment tied too T3-M4=Expert Droid class can have unique equipment tied as well. Zaablar= Wookiee Toughness feat Carth, Jolee and Canderous will be need something unique ranging from a Feat or Class to tied equipment. 1 Quote
Marius Fett Posted December 12, 2020 Posted December 12, 2020 I did exactly what’s being described above in my Carth’s Republic Uniform and Flight Suit mod a few years back. I added a new feat to Carth so that the item was restricted to him and couldn’t be used by anyone else. The mod is still available in the downloads section if you want to pick it apart and see how it works. 4 Quote
ajdrenter Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 I was doing this at one point I think by restricting by class and then I was just making new classes for individual party members. Probably not a great idea, using feats seems a lot cleaner. 1 Quote
DeathScepter Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 My ideas for Carth and Canderous for unique class ideas/ Carth: Gunslinger. Well Carth's theme is a duel wielding blaster pistol character why not having a class reflect that. Canderous: Mandolarian Commando. Canderous is a well known Mandolarian Commando during the Mandolarian Wars and a well known tank as well. Quote
ajdrenter Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 I think when I was doing it I had decided on "Pilot" for Carth and "Warrior" for Canderous 1 Quote

For example a possible class for Mission is Undercity Pathfinder due to that she helps you with the Taris Sewers and your guide to the sewers. Quote
