N-DReW25 1,336 Posted October 6, 2019 During the quest to find the Jedi Masters in Kotor 2 you are able to learn varies Force Forms and Saber forms, these forms give the player benefits and disadvantages during combat. I was wondering, how many forms can the player learn and are these forms learned in any specific order or does the player learn them in a totally random order? Ebony Moon 187 Posted October 6, 2019 Basic Forms: Shii-Jo, Makashi, Soresu, Force Channel. Every basic Jedi class learns these at different levels and different order, depending on the class. Advanced: Ataru, Shien, Niman, Juyo. Each leaned at a different order of Jedi Masters found depending on Class. Learned by Guardian, Sentinel, Weapon Master, Marauder, Watchman, Assassin. Each of these classes learn only three of these four forms, depending on their class, and in which order of Jedi Master found. Potency, Affinity, Mastery, learned only by Consular, Jedi Master, Sith Lord. All in the same order as Jedi Masters found. In all, 7 forms are learned by the character, rate and order depending on class. Mellowtron11 180 Posted October 7, 2019 The guardian, sentinel and their respective prestige classes get the Ataru and Shien forms. Guardian and its prestige classes get the Juyo form. The Sentinel and its prestige classes get Niman.
jc2 581 Posted October 9, 2019 @DarthParametric Didn't you say the player doesn't learn all 7 forms?
JCarter426 1,214 Posted October 9, 2019 It was me, but it's true. Also, one of the Force forms is worthless. I'm planning to do something about that, but I'm still debating what exactly.

JCarter426 1,214 Posted October 13, 2019 Force Affinity, a Jedi Consular/Jedi Master/Sith Lord-exclusive form: Quote The Force Affinity Form is an advanced meditation state that allows one to focus the power of the Force more rapidly. The effect of this Force Form is: FP regenerate during combat (though at a somewhat reduced rate when compared to the non-combat regeneration rate). ..which sounds all well and good. However, Force Channel, which all classes get: Quote The Force Channel Form involves standard mediation techniques that all Jedi learn through their training. The effects of this Force Form are: FP Regeneration: +50% (non-combat) Force Power Damage: +3 Saves vs. Force Powers: +2 ...does allow for Force regeneration during combat, at the same rate as Force Affinity, despite what the description says.
