KotOR II post-mortem - fun stories from Obsidian's early days, ideas for KotOR 3 and a chance to hear my voice!

Last week, I sat down with some great people from Obsidian, as well as Eurogamer's writer Robert Purchese and well known around here Hassat Hunter, for over one hour long podcast. We talked about KotOR II, its development, TSLRCM, Avellone's ideas for K3, and donuts.

Hope you have as much fun listening to it as we had recording it!

Disagree with this statement from the article:

"By being a tarnished gem, Knights of the Old Republic 2 also managed to inspire something else that KOTOR couldn't: modders."

The K1 modding community was alive and well by the time K2 came out.

Other than that, it is a great article.

Going to listen to the podcast later today

The accents are amazing!

Should have asked about Bao-Dur's fate!

I know! Zybl, you sound freaking amazing! Irish, or Russian, or other?

At 36:30-37:00= And HK-47 would be whining all the way about his blind spots! :D Just my two cents.

I just have to say WOW! I really enjoyed this podcast, guys! Thank you so much for this. Nearly had me crying a few times. This hasn't a chance of escaping my hard drive. :D

I love you Zybl!

This is epic - Hassat reminds me of Kimi Raikkonen (F1 driver)!

I lost track of who was who. The only person I could keep track of was Zybl.

Mostly donuts... although it has all been cut out.

Well, by that time Chris was already gone, so wouldn't do much good.

I sound finnish? 0_o

That's... odd.

Re: My accent. I didn't even know I sound like that before the podcast - when I first listened to it, I just went "wow, my accent is hilarious".

As for what it is: I'm Polish, only proper english-speaking city I've been to is London, a couple of times. I don't know what it tells you about my accent.

It's funny how Fair Strides asked if it's Irish. I'd never consider THAT one, haha.

Oh yeah poland. Should've remembered that. I think I still have this somewhere within my PM's, from when you asked me to translate something either for you or for the mod. Not quite sure. So you obsiously were using your own mikes, and did not gather all of you guys at one and same place, I gather...

Nope, not in the same room as the Obs

It was hard enough to organize as is, with all the conflicting schedules, four different time zones and everything else that got in a way. Trying to get everyone from that podcast in one place would be a nightmare to try to set up.

True, but think of the scrapbook you guys could make! Complete with video interviews, video montage and pics from their time at Obsidian, and the same for TSLRCM and M4-78EP...

...actually, I think I'd pay big money to have that book, guys!
