Malkior 476 Posted December 29, 2012 Got some weird glitch where the protocol droids are twitching uncontrollably in conversations. I just installed M4-78 EP right after the 1.8.2 patch for TSLCRM and they started acting up. I have no mods that alter the Protocol Droids, so that's my first guess. (However, I never reinstalled any of my other mods after installing those two... Are there any known mods that have to be installed after this one or else they conflict?) The behavior I'm seeing seems like the droid is trying to do the normal conversational animations, but keeps interrupting itself with the typing animation and ends up struggling to do the two at the same time, mid convo. Dylan 0 Posted December 30, 2012 I've noticed a couple comments on moddb people are having some odd bugs. They seem to be reporting it late in the game so I assume they installed M4-78EP and then used a save where they had already finished Korriban. Maybe some sort of update or warning to let them know they need to start a new game or use a TSLRCM save from before they did Korriban because there's no need to reply to every individual who unwittingly does this. Breaker12 0 Posted December 30, 2012 I've noticed a bug on my new play through yesterday, after the completing Korriban's little jaunt and talking to T3 to update the galaxy map for the new planets location the galaxy map hasn't seemed to update, so I can't continue the quest, nor can I travel to the planet and enjoy the new chapter. Has anyone else encountered this? Edit: The issue was caused by having the Jedi Temple mod installed. Removing this fixed it and now all is well! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Quauhtli 4 Posted December 30, 2012 I've put some spoiler tags around this, just to be safe. Right at the beginning of the central zone, there is a droid that says "Hello human" but has no voice. When you use the escort droid in the Manufacturing part of industrial zone and ask him to take you to Loading Zone (also known as Manufacturing by the escort droid in Central zone), then the screen will go black but he will not take you anywhere. The same is true if you ask the escort zone in the Loading area. It seems that the escort droid cannot take you to another place in the same Zone, but it works fine when you ask him to escort you to central zone, and then from central zone escort back to any of the Industrial zone areas. Hope this didn't sound too strange (UPDATE: After having been to the environmental zone, warping from Manufacturing to Loading zone now does work...?) In the environmental zone, some doors remain "closed" after they have opened. What I mean is that beside them appearing to be open, there is still an invisible wall and you have to click on the door again for it to open. (Also in the environmental zone, I am unable to use destroy droid on any of the mines, but maybe that's supposed to be that way.) In the environmental zone, in recharge room 4, whilst fighting droids I am being shot at by droids through a wall (from the room north of recharge room 4). The final group of droids in the environmental zone is very difficult. I ended up just skipping the battle by running past the droids right to the archon chamber. M4-78 was my second planet (third if you count korriban), so maybe that is why. Character was level 15. The big droid basically one-hits my characters, especially non main characters, or takes away the entire echani shield and then one-hits. It also had too much health. Plus, if a player does not have much group force powers like Destroy Droid or Force Storm/Lightning, then all the healing droids would only make the battle even more difficult. You might want to tone this battle's difficulty down. Grammar mistake: "This whole setup for reactivating L5-65 was M4-78 and the Archon's idea." Should be "...and the Archons' idea." Plural possessive s' The maintenance droid in the Industrial Zone has no voice (or robot beeping ) when he says the line "For that, I am grateful. Here, take this. I don't know what you need it for, but I am happy... etc" Central zone's guardian journal log does not update after you get the fourth power core, it still says I have three. After talking to the central zone maintenance droid again about what to do next, the journal now updates that I have four power cores. It now says I have to talk with the maintenance droid about what to do next....? Lonna Vash's lipsyncing is very off. I couldn't see what was happening to vash when M4-78 was killing her. Grammar mistake: (Character's line) "We don't have to go through that again. Anger lead you to the dark side, Kaah." should be "...Anger led you..." Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Malkior 476 Posted December 30, 2012 Okay, let's just say I have a friend, and this friend happened to install M478-EP with the idle assumption that all of the mods proven compatible with TSLCRM 1.8 were in fact, compatible with M478-EP. Two mods from that compatibility list have been proven to conflict with the changes that it makes. (These being, The Jedi Temple Mod and my personal experience suggests the GOTO overhaul mod) With this in mind and due to the amount of thing that M478-EP changes, would there perhaps be a way that either someone from the team or a group of people could create a thread that lists all compatible and incompatible mods with it? I'm thinking that even the mods compatible with TSCLRM will also have to be considered. Nsinger998 17 Posted January 1, 2013 Goto overhaul works but using preexisting saves can show goto as other things. To fix, download kse from file front and open your save. phenex 3 Posted January 2, 2013 ever since i installed the mod, tslrcm1.8.2 or m478ep(either of them since i did them one right after the other) whenever i try to load game i get a frozen screen with rainbow colors and the game crashes, any idea what this is? i did a clean install of my game as follows to see if it fixed the problem, 4 retail cd's > 1.0b > tslrcm 1.8.2 > M478EP. Michele79a 1 Posted January 8, 2013 Unfortunately I can't even complete the new mod because I have major lag when I play as the main PC and get into the Industrial zone. Every time I try to move he is stuck and it's like that if I switch out characters. I even switched from High graphics {which the game can handle up until this moment} to low...anti thing was off and I never run with shadows or grass on. I am just annoyed and sad. When I went through as HK for the droid to take care of the radiation problem so my main PC could enter, I didn't have lag anywhere. So I am not sure why the lag is occurring when the PC enters to do tasks to try and find Master Vash. I have kept trying to play from my save reducing everything so I would hope the game would go smoother but the character is simply stuck when trying to walk/move. I sincerely hope there will be a small update where the areas will run smoother so I can actually play through this mod. On a positive note...what I have played so far seems great and it rocks! What about the Disable Vertex Buffer Shaders line in the ini? vsync disabled and Vertex Buffer Objects disabled does not help the lag. Neither does turning off AA, anisotropy, grass, or shadows. M4-78 Industrial Zone: When you trigger the holovid of the droid closing the bulkhead door from the console, if you have the camera pointing in the right direction (towards the door), you can see the door opening - getting in position for the cutscene - before the scene starts M4-78 Industrial Zone Medical Shop Droid: Had multiple instances of items with INFINATE supply. E.g. Adrenal Acrity stims will be in the shop inventory twice, both with Infinate stock M4-78 Missing Droid quest: In the quest log, it says that IS-18 gave you the quest, but in fact its the droid in the production shack. IS-18 doesn't even want to talk to you about it! M4-78 Industrial Zone: After watching the complete holovid of L1-01 being destroyed, he drops a backpack of loot!! Also, the first time you watch any of the sabotaged three vids, the camera pans into the action from a wide angle. If you watch them a second time, the camera is in its final resting place for the whole vid. its.. strange. Can't quite remember this one: I have in my bug notes 'IS-99 falls over!!', but I can't remember under what circumstances... I do remember it was a hillarious bug though! A couple of minor grammar points: When talking to Industrial Greeter Droid, you have the conversation option of 'Changing subject'. In English, you would more likely say 'Changing the subject...' There's a conversation I can't quite put my finger on, where the droid you are speaking to says 'non-droid' but I think it should be 'non-droids' And as for the Sith Corpse / Sith's corpse discussion above, both are grammatically correct in the same way you could say Human Corpse (the corpse consisting of a Human) or Human's Corpse (a corpse belonging to a Human). But probably 90% of the time in English you would say Human Corpse, probably for no reason other than it just rolls off the tongue nicer... peedeeboy 23 Posted January 13, 2013 A few more bugs: Ending: In the cutscene just after M4-78 kills Vash, when the landing pad loads, the Exile is briefly visible on the pad before Atton says his line Industrial Zone: The holograms of the Duros and Ithorian in the droid weapons testing room are 'solid', i.e. you can't walk through them like you can the other holograms Ending (again): If you provoke Kaah in M4-78's chamber, he attacks you with his bare hands rather than his saber. Which is a bit odd... And when you end him, you get a lightsaber by automatic loot - then you can loot his body for another one!! Environmental Zone: After Kaah say's he will send his best droids after you, there are two square rooms with a bulkhead door between them that are absolutely packed full of hostile droids. The droids can shoot at you through the wall to the left of the bulkhead door... Environmental Zone: After the force field goes up after talking to ES-05, if you ask for it to be deactivated from the side furthest from ES-05 (e.g. if you want to go back and speak to her again) during the brief cutscene of the force field being activated / deactivated, you can see the forcefield 'hidden' behind the nearby wall, and then warp into place in the doorway Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Did they fade-away eventually. The only "fix" would be to make the last few lines unskippable. Might be able to cover it up though, as I did for 1.8's Nihilus/Tobin cutscene, shouldn't be too hard... * The solid holograms are intended. Otherwise they wouldn't make good target practice (the explenation I got from Zbyl when pointing this out). * That Kaah things sounds like a definite bug. Looks like I forgot to remove the saberdrop scripts there, where I had for the Central Zone... No clue why he wont use his saber though. * The "shoot through wall" issues in the Environmental Zone can't be fixed. OE didn't really have time for hitdetection, and modders can't add it in. I think there might be a way around that. For the door that separates the Industrial Zone in half, require that particular door to be opened using the terminal next to it and make the opening of that door a cutscene. Do the same thing with any doors that require a terminal to unlock it to use a cutscene as well - i.e. the one with the math puzzle. For the other doors, have the doors open automatically when the Exile steps close enough to it - but place the invisible trigger far enough away that the Exile won't have to wait by the time he walks over there. * The "shoot through wall" issues in the Environmental Zone can't be fixed. OE didn't really have time for hit detection, and modders can't add it in. You'll notice the same happening on certain locations in the HK-Factory in TSLRCM. Just something we have to live with, and we can't fix OE's rushing... If it can't be fixed, make the droids shooting through the walls a feature! When the Exile gets too close to that wall, have another cutscene with the droids saying something like "Organics approaching. Shoot through the walls." The mod is very nice, the map has its own identity, ennemies are not extremely hard nor weak, but I have some problems with the mod, the main one being @spoiler@ The invisible wall in the Archon II behavior Core. The only Has somebody found a solution ? Another strange thing is that I seem to miss some cutscenes (that I saw on videos regarding the mod) : @spoiler@ I`ve never seen a holo dialog between master Vash and another person Nor a cutscene showing my character from some sort of camera in the industrial zone Nor any kind of "black merchant droid" (some people talked on forums about that) + In one of the video walkthroughs, the IS 24 computer showed up as blue, while it s red on my saves. Did I miss something ? Could somebody help me out ? I`m playing on WIN 7 64 bits with an unpatched 2.04 english linguage version (patches 1.0a and 1.0b fail to install themselves sadly) with TSLRCM 1.82 put but before the M4 78 mod. I have the Jedi Temple mod with the fix installed. Please, don`t tell me I`ll have to reinstalll the whole thing on XP and apply only TSLRCM + M478 mods, and start a new camapign from scratch =) Thanks a lot for your help and your attention.
