Potus2036 0 Posted July 12, 2012 Actually, it's M4-78 with TSLRCM. But that's just nitpicking. As stated by SH, you're first let to Korriban (since that IS where Vash went to) and then move on to M4-78. I really see no benefit to remove a planet from the game, what use is that? Not tp mention missing out the tomb. Oh! I just went and rewatched the recording. Sorry, missed that part. Thanks, sorry for the confusion. Is there some sort of donation feature to support the work you guys do?

Potus2036 0 Posted July 12, 2012 We do it out of love - or madness - but not for money. Then I thank you for your labor. I can't tell you how awesome it is to see something so broken made whole. You have realized the full potential of KotOR 2. You are....the Sith'ari of modders. Hahahaaha
Fair Strides 509 Posted July 12, 2012 We do it out of love - or madness - but not for money. Or madness. Exactly! That's one of the core requirements of a good modder. 1.Determination 2.Madness 3.Lack of pride/stubborness to ask for help 4.Stubborness to keep going 5.More madness for when things don't work! Rinse, lather, and repeat. The average day of a modder-A dip in the pool of insanity.
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted July 12, 2012 A dip in the pool of insanity. No wonder I found modding so easy to get into. Anyway, yes, can't really make money of the mod, since it's illegal.
Vriff 21 Posted July 12, 2012 No wonder I found modding so easy to get into. Anyway, yes, can't really make money of the mod, since it's illegal. No, but the site itself can very well set up a donation system for expenses (server usage, future upgrades, etc), and how it uses that money is it's own business. Hassat Hunter 571 Posted July 12, 2012 The site already gives you several options to get subscriptions, thereby helping it host. None of the team working on M4 or TSLRCM have anything to do with the site though, it's owned by someone else entirely, who allows us to use it though, free of charge for our purposes. Ah, I thought it was owned by Stoney.
Sith Holocron 2,478 Posted July 12, 2012 I've split this topic off from the other thread as it was off topic. Actually, Deadly Stream was originally started by "Doctor" but has since been taken over by "Tyvokka." Modders can't accept donations.
bendarby24 24 Posted July 12, 2012 WHAT!?! It's been taken over by Tyvokka? It's no wonder that I haven't seen Doctor in ages!
Mandalore 61 Posted July 14, 2012 Tyvokka didn't take it over, he bought it from Doctor (Doctor sold it willingly).
Sith Holocron 2,478 Posted July 14, 2012 Tyvokka didn't take it over, he bought it from Doctor (Doctor sold it willingly). Tyvokka took it over after he bought it from Doctor. Semantics. I'm going to lock this thread as there really isn't too much more to say about it. Then I'll pin it - just in case this topic comes up again.
