VarsityPuppet Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 (edited) VP: Nope, I already said I looked at the before and after and I don't notice this in-game Notice the color of Kreia's robe. One is darker and greener. Okay, no biggy. Notice the color of Kreia's hands. One is darker and greener, it doesn't match the skin tone of her face. The hood is the same as the robe. Again, one is darker and greener. This neckline outlines the problems with all of the other areas. Notice the very obvious change in color around the neckline? The only thing that has correct 'diffusion' (basically, the tint that actual model mesh has, regardless of the texture) is Kreia's face. This is a problem that annoys a lot of people, but not all certainly. I, for instance, didn't really notice the problem at first, but when I did it bothered me to no end. I guess this thread has by now degenerated from "essential" to "everything I like". Not that I had no part in that... Uh, this thread has always had a bit of "things I like" as well as "essentiality" (If that's a word...). They go hand in hand. If PersonX didn't like the mod, PersonX wouldn't regard it as essential. MrPhil Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 I've never had an issue--I miss out on the first lightsaber part, other than that I've experienced no problems and have played through the game 4 times Well, that's great, but I think if you do so, some globals won't kick in. Now I wouldn't know if that might cause any problems, but I expect that Hassat Hunter might be suited to answer about that specific. Quote
Guest staticjoe66 Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 In the skip Telos mod there are only 3 files, 2 useable as one of the files is a known bug--other than that it does not conflict with any other mod as far as I know, again I've used it in 4 playthroughs with the TSLRCM installed and at least that many playthroughs before installing the TSLRCM Well, that's great, but I think if you do so, some globals won't kick in. Now I wouldn't know if that might cause any problems, but I expect that Hassat Hunter might be suited to answer about that specific. Quote
Markus Ramikin Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 (edited) VP: I agree, for the sake of avoiding argument. *installs the fixed Kreia mod with a bullied expression* Edited September 10, 2010 by Markus Ramikin Quote
VarsityPuppet Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 VP: I agree, for the sake of avoiding argument.*installs the fixed Kreia mod with a bullied expression* lol I just had to be sure that you could see the difference! It's so bothersome, that greenish tint > Quote
Tricky Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 (edited) So it's been said VP has a Peragus mod too. What's that about? An improvement over Ulic's, or something different entirely? What does it do? Do I want it at all if I have the improved dialog.tlk? I was just wondering, what is this improved file? Were you referring to some kind of mod? Edit: Never mind, I read in a later post that it will be included in the next release of TSLRCM. Edited September 12, 2010 by Tricky Quote
bead-v Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 It's a mod, yeah, kind of. It fixes a lot of spelling and other string issues in the game. Quote
Guest DH-010 Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 I don't want to be an idiot... But the Kreia's Robe fix is not completely compatible with TSLRCM... It seems to mess with some of Kreia's animations and leaves a 3D 'cardboard cutout' (a floating texture of sorts) behind in the Dantooine Academy, when combined with TSLRCM. At least, in my playthrough with it... Quote

MrPhil Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 by the way is PA_K2_Crazy_Dustil compatible because u dont restore it in tslcm Primo, this was not a restoration, if I remember correctly. Second, yup, I think it is. However, when I was doing my compatibility thread, I did not get that far because of another mod. Quote
Guest bendarby24 Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 thanks a lot mrphil going in my overide folder now Quote
MrPhil Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 You welcome. Please report back if you do encounter a related problem Quote
Guest AttonsGirl Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 I'm not a big modder, personally, but there was so much . . . lacking in the original game, I finally broke down. As of right now, I have installed: The official Lucasarts patch TSLRCM version 1.6 (I would have 1.7, but I was in the middle of a game when it was released and I haven't finished yet) The Cyan Lightsaber Fix (it always annoyed me how it refused to deactivate) The Movie Style Dark Side Transitions Mod. . . sort of. I had never played dark side before and I wasn't sure if I wanted to change my game that much, so I went into the mod files and installed each individual character whenever they turned dark. It makes the game much more fun for me to play DS if my party members (and my PC, for that matter) don't look like zombies. However, there are several lines of dialogue in the game that refer to how your face looks like a prune (but of course, it doesn't, because you installed the mod). I think they released a fix for those lines though, although I don't have it. Quote
Guest HaVoKeR Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Waaaaay to many for me to remember, but mine mods are pretty essential, No Lightsaber quest, Peragus Tweak... All the lightsabers, LS parts, banners in mandaloriam camp, kreia, Galaxy Map, the swoop race and other stuff fix are also essential to me. Quote
Guest darthkrull Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 I personally like Handmaiden Choice for Females (as I can't stand Mical), Remove Restriction to Force Armors, and Sith Assassins With Lightsabers Quote
Sith Holocron Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 I personally like Handmaiden Choice for Females (as I can't stand Mical), Remove Restriction to Force Armors, and Sith Assassins With Lightsabers It's too bad that Stoffe's Handmaiden Choice for Females mod is not compatible with TSLRCM. Guest Supernova2000 Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Definitely USM, if only so you can tell whose lightsabre is who's without having to make them all separate colours. High Level Force Powers. Sometimes I forgot I even had a lightsabre, so mad I was with these powers. Quote
Freeloader Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 essentialbesides TSLRCMC? Hm USM is one mod that comes to my mind, I liked it way more than the others. Ultimate Balancing Mod is something that should be used to, because it makes the game more challanging... (how the hack do I make my enemies run through my mines? It's just damn frustrating that they never follow me). And of course the Jedi Temple mod. Quote
MrPhil Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 No USM's way too much outdated! Try Kuai/Qui Don Jorn's Heroes of the Old Republic Lightsaber Mod Quote

Guest Astor Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Quite a few: - Official K2 high quality music patch - Official K2 high res movie pack - Admiralty mod - Coruscant high res, making the skybox during cutscenes look much better - Dancers without anorexia, no more size zero fems - EZ swoop, sue me - Flickering lightsaber blades - Khoonda militia armour - K2 Carth armour - Ithorians improved - Kreia green fix, an improvement over captainhairs mod (apparently) - Lightsaber parts icon fix - NS skybox and NS view - Kreia Movie (though I'm not sure if that's fixed by TSLRCM) - Remote influence - Sions Peragus arrival - Battle of Telos - TSL Malaks armour reskin - A few files from Ultimate Sound mod - TSL new loading screens And a couple more. As you may have noticed, I prefer having my mods lore accurate. Now if I could only get them all compatible with TSLRCM. Quote
Guest princessartemis Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 bye the way is PA_K2_Crazy_Dustil compatible because u dont restore it in tslcm I know this is a few months old, but since I happened to see it... It's highly unlikely any mod that doesn't directly modify the three files involved would be incompatible, and if TSLRCM doesn't address it, I can't imagine why mine wouldn't work with it. I didn't do much beyond change a setting and alter the dialogue file so Dustil would be alive and could talk unvoiced...added a couple animations I think, too. I don't believe there was anything more left of it than that to put back. More of a curiosity than anything else, made so people who wanted to see what little was there could see it, in context. 1 Quote
Guest Dark_Ansem Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 besides the TSLRCM? USM, AI improvement and a darker, scarier peragus + harbringer would be a very good start if compatible. then everything that adds brand new stuff + the restoration planets content. the game's way too short for my taste EDIT: if the USM added the variety of crystals from the Force Unleashed (colours/stats) it would be amazing and of course a music improvement as well as sound effect (not just lightsabers, also ambient sounds, and more of them) Quote
