That should be fixed by running KotOR 1 and 2 as an Admin. Otherwise, Windows will avoid making changes in a folder inside the Program Files or Program Files (x86) areas of the OS.

Also, turning off Read-only on the Saves (and probably the whole LucasArts) folder, and running KSE as an Admin so that it can make changes to the saves will help.

I have a question regarding the exp points gained from the leveled up NPCs. Since their level is scaled up to the player's does it mean that you would be able to gain lvl 50 by the end of the game ?

I'm not actually able to affect their real level, unfortunately.

I track levels using Local numbers 30 and 31. This method doesn't work with the exp distribution system.

Is this compatible with Improved Ai?

I had forgotten about that mod when I designed this. I'll have to go back and work on this to make it compatible with stoffe's mod. Same with my Fumble! mod.

Fantastic piece of work. One thing though: it reverts back to the standard camera angle/zoom when in combat. It's rather jarring, really.

That would be because the Combat actually has its own line in camerastyle.2da.

You could use KotOR Tool to open and edit the line to match the line marked "DEFAULT".

I can indeed make a KotOR 1 version.

and i don't know how to get it to work it looks super nice though and thats why i'm trying to download it

If you're still around, you install the mod like instructed, open the game, select any of the males and the right class, and then switch through the heads until this one shows up.

Does this work on KOTOR II?

This does not work on KotOR 2, since there are slight differences in the format, but mostly the bones/rigging.

I wonder if this works with Shem's "Handmaiden Style Undies for female PC" mod. If it does, I'm installing it! 

You would need to copy and rename the p_handmaidenba.mdl and .mdx file to PFBAM.mdl and .mdx for it to work, and the same for any textures you would use.

Then it would work.

Is it possible for an admin to move this to the TSL section? It's currently posted in the KotOR 1 section.

Try running it as an Admin. And possibly in Compatibility Mode for XP SP2

For those that aren't aware, the installer's fixed and I haven't gotten any reports of any more issues so far.

I love the look of this but the download never works for me.

Just downloaded myself, extracted with 7-zip, ran the installer, and everything worked fine.

When I try to open it says it is damaged and cannot be opened. Tried with 7Zip, 9Zip, and OPener Pro. All the same result. Using windows 10 but i don't think that would be the problem.

Any chance of a solution?

While I find it odd that you reported it two days before you commented about it, I'll say that I just downloaded it less than 10 minutes ago and then extracted using 7zip.

It could be that you got an impartial download...

Is K1R, compatible with NPC overhaul now?

You should really be asking Kainzorus Prime that question, but I believe no.

Can this mod cause the glitch at the start of Leivathan?

 

When I finish Mannan and set course anywhere (Yavin, Korriban), the Leviathan hauls me but when the conversation has to start (who to choose to save PC), Bastila says: "This isn't over, Malak!" and all of the crew are in central room, with me, and I cannot leave EH. Normal conversations (except Canderous and Juhani) and nothing I could use.

You likely have a file called "lev40_carth.dlg" in the override folder. This needs to be erased, and is not part of K1R.

Please try re-running the first part of the installer again, and if that doesn't work, I'll need a list of your mods and I would need you to PM me the installlog.rtf file and the g_i_danceroutfit.uti file.

I cannot get this file to work.  I have the GOG version of KOTOR 2.  Could this have something to do with it?

GOG version is the closest version to the 4CD, so that isn't the issue.

Which parts of the mod did you try installing, and were there any errors in the installations?

Also, what is happening in-game? What are you trying?

I have changed the mod to its proper name... (The one mistake I make when staying up all night long...)
 

Can anyone help, please? I'm trying to install this, but I get close to the end in the TSLPAtcher before I get an unhandled error problem with the message it cannot find a specific path, "...\backup\modules\ship.mod" ?

Any ideas? Never had this message pop up before during installation?

 
You will want to re-install the mod, but first try to get your game back to where it was before trying to install the mod and then do three things:

1. Delete the folder called "backup" that is where ever you are running the installer from.
2. Set the folder the installer and everything is in to not be read-only, and apply this to all files and sub-folders.
3. Run the TSLPatcher as administrator.
 
If that doesn't work, then also try restarting your computer and possibly putting the installer in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP2 or 3.

There was an older mod that did the same thing back on Kotorfiles. For that mod, you had to battle Visas to make her dance. Do you not have to do that here?

No, I simply re-used a line from the same dialog (she would say, "Yes, that will be fine." if you said you'd ask someone else instead of her) and basically disabled her refusal. This was the cleanest option I could think of without poring over all of her lines and/or trying to rely on the interpretations of re-using her "My life for yours" line...

Ah, yes... Those women scared the crap out of me the first time I found them... And I will admit that the skin tones for the dancer outfit, regardless of alignment, just barely don't quite match the tone of her face... (I was using her normal underwear skin to match the tones for her LS Dancer's Outfit and the DS version of her face to match the skin tones for her DS Dancer's Outfit).
