Is it just me or does the Jedi Knight series have more mods out on the internet than the KoTOR series?

Answer: Yes it does. It has also been out for a whole lot longer. The JK series (if you start with the very beginning (Dark Forces), started in '95) started with JKDF2 in '97. It ends in '03 with Jedi Knight 3: Jedi Academy. So that's 15 years (to this date) of the best and most played games to have mods made for them.
