    Like having a sparring match with the hand maiden on the beach, having Hanharr kick a beach ball out in the ocean...
    Visas and Mira sun bathing at the pool... Atton hanging in the sofa, Boa Dur working on the tv set... dumb things like that.

    One other crazy idea was you could play the "pod" races from the game on your console in front of the tv.
    It would just load one of the races via a script... If that's even possible :rolleyes:
     

    The corridor that goes up was the "loading/ spawn point", it would then transfer you back to the Hangar Bay at the ramp of the Barracuda.
    Walkmeshes can't cross each other, not even when you're higher up. It blocks you off like a wall.

    Don't think I ever got the waves to behave properly, it was one of the many emitter tests areas I made. We just lobbed this extra level in for fun.
    The whole mod was setup to be just a bit of fun and giggles. Very not in line with the theme of the game. ^_^

    Me and GloveMaster had many wild big modding plans... Ah, the fun times of being younger and having loads of free time.

    You're a genius! Your level designs are so cool. I have had such enjoyment out of your Sellout asset. We made ample use of it in Edge Of Darkness, my total conversion project, and mostly in-character with your original designs. Thanks again for all your hard work with these levels! :D

    Anyone remember what this would have had in it or how it would be unlocked? It's definitely the largest oddity in the Scrapyard Games files now that the hangar business is sorted out... I almost feel like it'd be fun to use in a mod where the Exile has some weird fever dream. That's the vibe this module gives off to me, it's just so contextless.

    There are ways of linking them that would be viable, for instance having a Barracuda pilot that you can hire, and maybe a cutscene to depict landing on Nal Hutta, which I assume this would be. I'm seeing a pirate moon base programmed in to the Barracuda but I want to get up close and check it out. Having the Barracuda there is context within the Nar Shaddaa  / Nal Hutta / Scrapyard games triangle of location in TSL's map.

     

    Edit: I've taken a great interest in this module and fixed the annoying flashy waves on the beach.

  3. This work is just so cool!! I want to do this myself for the textures in Edge Of Darkness. Is there a good place to start, did you use multiple programs? I'm sure I can manually feed my textures priority-first through any program. The idea is to find out what site and AI models produce the best result. Did you train your own models? It looks like you did. I am floored, what an amazing work you've done. Incredible!

  4. Photosource it from nature and layer it on with GIMP. LDA_Bark01.tga in Kashyyyk textures. etc I might be able to get some good moss photos, it's how I do everything, if that is of interest to you. You can reskin the bark textures to have a repeating moss pattern. I might be able to take some of this work on for you, if you're interested. I think this would help you implement further geometry, blending the textures there.

  5. You'd have to strategically replace stuff already listed in the item code list. There are ways to interface with the system, but adding custom codes, like DarthParametric said, isn't possible. Familiarity with the KotOR Tool Templates.bif, Item section. Look at a_light /a_medium  / a_heavy / a_robe items. I wrote a Nexus Article about how those items are sectioned, by letter C through K, referring to model in the appeareance.2da

  7. Hello DS.

    I am beginning to overhaul the skyboxes in the Ebon Hawk viewable out the windows in the cockpit. I was curious how this mechanism of switching between skyboxes works? I see there are three images in the ebon hawk textures, two of them are divided into four, the other one is for M4-78.

    Right now I'm testing changes to these ebo_sky files in my modded Ebon Hawk. If anyone can shed some light on this subject in the meantime, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

    This replacement mod is for Holowan Duplisaber. Once you install Holowan Duplisaber, copy this Override folder to your preferred Knights Of The Old Republic II Directory. It will replace "Cerulean" with "Obsidian" in the Saber Crystal Surplus. This affects all the icons and the color/name of all the Cerulean sabers. They will all be Obsidian now and with black icons, etc. The color is a thin black beam, with a glowing white outline. This was done with permission from VarsityPuppet. There is no other replacement for Duplisaber that creates a customized obsidian or black color crystal to my liking, and my own attempts at this have resulted in this mod.

    Installation:

  12. I recently learned that part of texturing for Horizon Zero Dawn is similar to Skyrim in the filetype, DDS.

    I am researching how to create retextures in this game, with hopes of creating new clothing or altered clothing.

    ^ With this, you can edit the textures. Leave the .dds files uncompressed when exporting.

     

    Edit: I need some help with researching this. Disclaimer - It's a 78gb game. BUT I will make skins for it if I can figure out the way to do so. :)

     

    To import/export textures from Horizon Zero Dawn, you can use the HZDMeshTool. This is a Blender addon that allows you to import and export textures from Horizon Zero Dawn's .core format  .
    Here are the steps to install and use the tool:
    - Download the HZDMeshTool from GitHub.
    - In Blender, open the User Preferences and go to the Add-ons tab.
    - Click on Install and select the HZDMeshTool.zip file.
    - Enable the addon.
    - Go to the Scene Properties tab.
    - As of version 1.3, you can extract textures from the game files by enabling the Extract Texture checkbox in the tool . If enabled, the tool will extract every texture used by the imported mesh part to the Workspace directory. You can click the checkered icon next to the mesh import button to see the textures used .

    • It is not fully assembled but it contains the parts required to set it up in appearance.2da. 
    • The head is the Ubese "Sith Assassin" model, and the body is PMBBL (the KotOR 1 Soldier clothing). 
    • The skins and the model for the body are there.
    • The head model needs to be arranged but the texture provided for the head is on the Ubese Helmet model. 
    • KotOR Tool is required to finish the appearance into TSL, and it is not compatible with K1 at this time.

    The Jedi trainer was a pretty neat character and I thought giving Jaden that look was cool.

    Edit: The model has some flaws on the desk in the final room, but technically this can be covered by a placable, or even removed completely with the omission of that room. Thor110 has converted the K1 module to TSL, and I inspected it and it's nice!

    Here is m21aa for TSL, all the necessary files are in the .MOD, although no changes were made to it yet.

    The way the desk and screen are covered depends on what you plan to use the area for. :)

    ^ This archive converts Lehon to Tatooine and connects to the Dune Sea and the cave/lost temple.

    The Landing Zone module is not included because it's on Lehon beach as 201TEL. I have renamed it "TAT00L".

    It's not so much the walkmesh as the model being incomplete, so reversing it to an editable form in blender or 3dsmax is very important.\

    Is there a way to take K1 and TSL models each and decompile them to editable format?

    It would be nice if it was a Blender process, but 3DSMax knowledge here is also good.

  19. I would like to request combat animations for the TSL Space suit.  It can't hold items, but it displays pistol, sword, idle, and unarmed animation. I thought perhaps recompiling the Wookiee or Trandoshan animations into the space suit to get the desired effect. Also, clipping isn't my concern, moreover a functioning one could have clipping and still be good.

    Thanks for reading, hopefully it's possible to do, would be amazing for heavy armors to have that thing. :)
