Already fixed for 1.8. Not that. Not sure where the soundeffect is generated. Droid file, blowing up script. Haven't found it... Already fixed for 1.8. Yup, him dying is seen as a DS act (since you can manually kill him). But it also triggers this response if dying not by your hand. Technically, it should be pretty easy to change that. On the other hand, he's clearly injured, yet you ask him to fight, then let him die out there. That's pretty dark, so I am not going to change it .

There was a +1 bonus to "piercing" (which apparently in KOTOR isn't used on melee weapons, and doesn't work on it), messing up the blade's description when updating it. So now it's +1 unstoppable instead, so everything works as should be. Already done. How 'bout that? (there are a few lines you can only hear when doing that, see the screenshot "preview of 1.8" for a glance )

Can't de-compile a script that doesn't de-compile. Maybe Stoney or Zbyl have the .nss though.

Well, that looked horrible. Not just HK and Revan as bosses, but the entire gameplay. Best was the music (they used so much KOTOR2 music... :/). That says something. Gotta give this game a pass unless it becomes completely free.

USM, eh? That's kind of a known issue with it. Try using ~, typing "WARP 901MAL" (have cheats enabled in the .ini!!!). You should be able to progress as usual, you just miss out a few Kreia-Sion cutscenes.

Ask Kreia while; * having Visas, and her equipped with a lightsaber * have 2 individual sabers for yourself...

I agree it's kind of jarring. Of course during that DS course you have to battle Vrook, that's more challenging than that fight, while the mercs take care of the rest. But if you surrender as LS, of course that doesn't happen.

Just a little adendum; You realise that these files on Malachor are leftover files of an older mod Zbyl made? The VO lines are in... *tum tum*, 851 and 852NIH. The Ravager... The "taboo" lines are what you get if you ask 'What do you know of this planet' ON Malachor. Don't confuse our scraps with what OE actually intended... EDIT: Also, Kaevee disabling can be done by a single file. But then you still break the Thief quest from Suulru.

First off all; what additional convo between Visas and Mandalore on Malachor? There is... absolutely... none. So it's just the loading screen, nothing more. Second; If we made the HK factory without adding content it would pretty much fade to black after the meeting with the HK-50's in the main hall, since, guess what... THERE WAS NO ENDING. Also that would mean no HK vs. G0T0 on Malachor, or only one pre-defined one, no choices. Third; Ravager Re-write is by Zbyl, not Stoney. Yes, yes, you are. So, because of that, I should completely disregard the work others put into the mod??? Then why remove them from TSLRCM in the first place, if everyone is going to use them regardless? Also seperate mods, as I said before, leads to huge mod conflicts. Do you want people unable to use other mods just because they want the full TSLRCM package? Cause that doesn't sound like an improvement to me... And yes, seperating it does take a pretty big amount of work, definitely in Kaevee's case. Well, that explains all. Want to remove HK/Goto too, how about all the rest of the restored content. After all another mod will add to it later, what's the point of having it in TSLRCM, right? Heck, we should just drop our effort. TSLRP might come around a day making it obsolete, better to not make anything at all and prepare for that... If it's so bad, why not keep it in and install a "fix" ontop of 1.8 later if anyone makes it? Say, the MV-I mod you revere? So everyone can benefit of the scene, even though it may be "inferior" to you. Yes, some of the cut content may be a bit jarring, but at least unless it's utterly out-of-place, I say it's better in than out, won't you say? Look how many people still use 1.5 (unpatched too, Red Eclipse issue) from FilePlanet. What would happen if there are 5 seperate add-onsv for 1.8?). True. But you disregard the amount of work that needs to be done to re-add it in a seperate add-on. Disabling any particular part of TSLRCM is mostly prettty easy. Having to locate all files for a seperate mod, make installer, have no conflicts etc.? That takes quite a bit more time... Using that and a seperate add-on to re-add it might. And what if the seperate add-ons all modify, say, global.jrl? (like splitting Kaevee and say, the JJT Sullustan) We need 5 variations of one file, and have to install the right one. Oh, joy! Just make it so after killing the whats-it-called-again no longer the cutscene runs. Done. Sure, she's not deleted, but you got what you wanted...

Without the Ravager Re-write the exile is always there, so... that's really not an option is it? At least it's not as horrible as TSLRP's version.

So, let's remove probably the most anticipated and most loved part of TSLRCM for... what exactly? Not to mention the factory is pretty much woven in the ENTIRE GAME. From HK's convo to the HK-50's to the Ebon Hawk cutscene to everything on Telos... Did I just worked on 1.8 to have to release pretty much nothing because everything has to be cut out of it? And if it was up to me it went; Nihilus meeting, Visas stunned, Mandalore knocked down. Fight mano-a-mano Nih and Exile. Mandalore scene after Nih dies (if Visas lived) Visas returning to look to Nihilus after running a bit down the bridge. But of course it's a restoration project, not a "make the game as HH sees it mod"... and I just fix bugs anyways... How the hell can they even do that? Did they already play 1.8 or something? "were it possible"... best choice of wording. Fragmenting TSLRCM would lead to massive mod-conflict. Inside the same mod. It would be completely fucked up.

There is this "backup" folder, which contains a pristine version of the original launcher. So, no, that's not an excuse. Although why you want an inferior launcher because of 'canon' (which sucks by default) beats me. IE. Reserved for things *I* dislike, be damned if others dislike stuff, that should be part of TSLRCM. Got it about right? A good rule. I suggest you learn it . Uhuh... Well, if they are so easy to modify (they aren't) that you don't even need to be a modder to modify them why not remove them yourself? Saves us this "easy" task. Then either you have a bad memory or are shorter here than I am. But congrats, you're the first to complain about the Ravager scene as is in 1.7. If only. And by some you mean you, right? And by "easily done" you mean "impossible" too, right? "no work is needed" HAH! Anyways... If I sound bitter it's cause I am. Too much crap going on IRL...

And what if other people find other parts ruining their mood? Like the party on Nar Shaddaa... Or the HK-50 encounters? Or the Khoonda battle? Or what-ever-else. Do we just have to fragmentate TSLRCM? Which I may remind is impossible?

One is UK spelling, other is US spelling, neither is wrong. But seeing how american english is used throughout the game ("honor", "armor") it would indeed probably be best to adjust this english spelling to american single t.

Hmmm, could be it is the "activate the quest" twice issue. Might have still been in 1.6 (dunno when we fixed it, 1.6 or 1.7). Anyways, IIRC that shouldn't prevent you from getting the cutscene and then the HK-factory later on.

Blank journal sounds more like a mod conflict. Another mod modifying the global.jrl, removing the HK factory entry entirely. Which would give issues, indeed...

Yup, that can happen with these fights in the Polar Academy. Only fix is loading a save from before there...
