    Had to get laptop for my study. So obviously installing KOTR2 on it, so I can do mobile modding. Only issue is that the entrie game-area is surrounded by a black border. No crashes though or needing any special installation (win 7 laptop). Maybe I still need to try it though if it might fix my issue?

      Theory: Laptops have a widescreen. KotOR 1&2 do not understand what a widescreen is (there is no widescreen resolution setting). There is a fix to it. You'll have to google for it though.

      Your graphics card might be set to no scaling mode which means it displays the exact resolution of what your game is set to without making it fill the screen or scale it to a 4:3 Pillar-Boxed format. The widescreen patch will also take some getting used to because the HUD is completely stretched from it's original 4:3 frame to fit your widescreen display and reveals stuff on the sides you weren't meant to see originally but doesn't really affect the game too much if at all.
