So I'm curious regarding the so-called "restoration" patches for Kotor I. There seems to be a rivalry between the Kotor 1 (K1R) Restoration mod and the so-called "Kotor Community Patch." Which of these is generally preferable to most players and what differences, if any, exist between the two?
Feel free to comment and share your thoughts on this, as I am seeking to decide which of these patches to make my mods more compatible with.

Both are impressive mods for their scope, but I thinks its myopic to think there's a rivalry, as they're both different mods really. But I can understand where you're coming from though.
K1R and Brotherhood of Shadow aren't compatible because of the placeable number limitation that's hardcoded into K1s engine.

@LoneWanderer I guess that makes sense. As for the "boring" parts of it, I see where you're coming from especially if it pertains to the expanded/restored Black Vulkar Base. I always found that level a bit tedious, and unnecessary, tbh. What other cut content exactly does K1R restore that K1CP doesn't?

@djh269 that's interesting. I've been able to play through the entire game with both BOSSR and K1R and it hasn't presented any true difficulties thus far. My main issues have been that a couple of restored characters were bugged, specifically Major Hurka on the Leviathan and the injured female Sith in the Rakata temple, both of whom ironically are at least initially lying down. Would this have been caused by BOSSR?
