  1. This game will have nothing to do with SWTOR. I heard it’s a canon retelling of both KOTOR games, yes KOTOR and TSL combined in one game with overhauled gameplay and more modern combat system (ie fallen order or ghosts of Tsushima) . What has me most excited is where the story will take place, based on the new dialogue by Jennifer Hale (Bastila) that sounds like it could be said during the Jedi Civil War but before Revan was captured . Maybe you play as Bastila during the beginning of the game, Revan during the middle, and then the Jedi exile for the last bit. If so, this could be a long game . I’m interested in how they’re wanting to approach the twist in the first game….

    It is what is causing it, I reinstalled and one by one put the mods I'm using back in each time checking Dxun to see if the cutscene played, and it did every time until I installed HQ skyboxes. I'm discussing it with Kexikus now on the mods page . Have you  ran into this issue only on Dxun or also other planets?

    Ok, so I’m having the same issue on Dxun where none of the cutscenes are playing. When I get to the scene where the Malraas and Cannoks attack each other it doesn’t activate and same thing with the bounty hunters later . It’s actually the second time I’ve encountered a problem like this during this specific play through. The first time was on the Telos Restoration zone, I reinstalled multiple times but to no avail. I fixed it by deleting the Bao Fix file stormie includes with his Jedi Journeyman robe mod (I figured it had something to do with Bao Durs files since his cutscene wasn’t activating). Now I’ve run into the same problem on Dxun, I’ve reinstalled two times each time downloading fewer mods to see if it would work. The mods I’ve listed are the ones I’m still using, I’ve played with every one of them before except for Kotor save importer, HQ skyboxes,  and the Black haired pmhc04 mod, and never have had an issue like this. I did try using the Kreia mechanical hand mod and downloaded it before realizing it was not compatible with TSLRCM ( I know, should’ve looked into it more and figured out before installing, my bad) since it replaces the RCMs feat 2da. I didn’t make a backup ( I know again bad idea) so I didn’t exactly uninstall the mod, and everything seemed fine until I went to Dxun . Since I believed it had to be caused by the Kreia mechanical hand mod conflicting with TSLRCM, I completely reinstalled the game by deleting all its files in steam apps and then installing again. I have a save on Nar Shaddaa right before I left for Dxun on the cloud so I loaded that up and went through all the events that lead to landing on the jungle moon. I go through the jungle but no luck, still the same issue. Yes I’m using the latest version of TSLRCM, Any ideas guys ?

    I just reinstalled the game completely using less mods and I still have the issue. I’m gonna give you a list of all the mods I’m using: Jcs Fashion Line, Jcs Mandalorioan Armor, Jcs Minor fixes, Jcs vision enhancement, Jcs sound effects for blasters, jolee in unique clothing, juhani appearance overhaul, K1 crystal select, K1 party model fixes (just bastilla), K1 hd stars and nebulas, Korriban OTE, Manaan OTE, Kashyyyk OTE,High quality cockpit skybox, HQ skybox, Carths flight suit and republic uniform, Quanons HK-47, realistic VEs, weapons of the the old republic. That’s all, I’ve played with most of these mods before except for your blaster sound effects, juhani appearance, the Hk 47 mod, your vision enhancement and minor fixes. What mod do you think could be the culprit? Thanks for your help JC, much appreciated

    What you are describing is what happens when a character is unable to equip an item due to the item type being corrupted in some way. If you have any mods that affect the robe UTI files or baseitems.2da, the problem is probably happening somewhere around there. Cloaked Jedi Robes does not affect either.

    Is this mod compatible with your vision enhancement? It's weird because I don't have any mods that affect the Robe UTI files. I'm probably just gonna do a clean reinstall of KOTOR figure out which Mod is causing it. A post on reddit was having this same problem with the mod as well. Thanks JC, I will let you know what I discover with the reinstall.


  6. Hello guys. I've run into a problem with JCs robe mod, basically knight robes and master robes appear invisible and when a PC wears them, they appear in their undergarments. This also causes a problem with Master Vrook, making him appear in commoners clothing. I have no idea what can be causing this bug. Everytime i try reinstalling, the installer always detects 4 errors with N_CaloNord.mdx/mdl and JuhaniBB.mdx/mdl saying it already dectects those files in the override and skips them. I don't know how that could cause this problem though. I looked on the internet and there was a user on reddit who had this same problem with the same mod, unfortunately it seems they never got help with figuring out how to fix it.

    Are you using an upscaled textures mod? Looks like the vista buildings are not being alpha masked.

    Edit: Actually it doesn't seem like the are being properly textured at all. Check your Override folder for the presence of LTS_Bsky01.tga and LTS_Bsky02.tga.

    Edit 2: OK, that actually is part of Kex's mod. Try putting this in your Override rather than deleting the TGA. What's your OS and graphics card?

    I was using an upscaled textures mod but deleted cause it made the game run slow, in fact I completely uninstalled KOTOR and reinstalled on steam to make sure that texture mod was completely gone. I'm on windows 10 and have AMD A10 radeon r6 graphics. By downloading that file, the skybox looks better at city level but by looking up, you see there's somehow an entirely different skybox above it. I've played with Kex's mod before and have never had this happen.

  8. Hey guys, so I recently started a new game on KOTOR and everything was fine until I got to upper city taris. The skybox is glitched out, I had Kexikus' skybox mod installed so I thought that's what was causing it. I deleted his files and reloaded Taris but the glitch was still there. I don't know what can be causing since I don't have any other skybox mod's installed. Any ideas?

    I don't know your Playthrough but, beside be needed defeat the HK teams, the secret HK factory starts automatically after the last encounter with Atris in the Telos Academy, where you go (automatically) only after see the Jedi Council in Dantooine ...which means that you've found already all the Jedi Masters.

    I can't recall exactly the terms but after defeat the HK teams, talking with HK-47 about go (or find) the secret factory, shows up a dialog line saying something like you cannot go now and will start later on.

    What I don't know is that modifing the quests via KSE you can be ruined your game.

    The reason I had to activate the quest on KSE is because in order to activate it in the game you have to ask HK about the HK50s right after you initially activate him. I didn't so the quest never activated for me and I've never done this quest in any of my playthroughs so it's my first time. The problem is the quest seems to have not actually activated at all, it's just in my journal, It only updates when I do it via KSE. When I first activated it, the quest said I had to defeat 3 teams of HKS and then talk with HK47, I defeated three teams but when I viewed the quest it still said defeat 3 teams ? So I was wondering if this was a problem with KSE since the quests activated through it are supposed to work. Anyways I don't know what could be causing this graphical error on Korriban.

    That would be my fault, since I was that one that modified the training script to accommodate @Stormie97's robes. The issue is that the mod changes the default fake PC that is used for two custom ones (male and female), and, naturally, there is no provision to properly destroy those once they have fulfilled their purpose. An unfortunate oversight on my part. As luck would have it, the script that controls destroying the fake PC can't be decompiled, so resolving that will take a different approach. I've suggested a fix to Stormie to resolve the problem for future users. But fixing that wouldn't help in your case regardless, since the scene has already been completed. As a temporary measure, try extracting the attached into your Override folder and loading a save in the Hawk (or re-entering it from outside).

    I downloaded and the duplicate is gone now thank you very much!! However I'm having other problems which I hope you can help me with. I'm trying to do the HK factory quest but never got it activated because apparently you have to talk with HK right after rebuilding him in order to do so. However I tried activating it with KSE (which should work). The quest shows up and tells me I have to defeat 3 teams of HKs in order for HK47 to find the factory, I defeated them but the quest doesn't update, so I updated it myself through KSE to where it now says I've fought the three groups and to go talk to HK47, but when I talk to him, no additional dialogue shows up. Any ideas? Also I'm on Korriban now, and there's this weird graphical glitch. Your help is greatly appreciated !!

  11. So I downloaded Stormies mod and was really enjoying it with no problems whatsoever, until I trained Bao-Dur. When I entered the cutscene, a duplicate of my character showed up and won't go away no matter how many times I reload. Stormie mentions that there's trouble with training Bao using this mod and included a fix for it in the download which I used, so I didn't expect anything to go wrong. Is there anyway I can delete this clone from showing up? Any help is greatly appreciated.

     


  12. Hey guys, I don't exactly know where to post this but a while back I downloaded this mod https://www.gamefront.com/games/knights-of-the-old-republic-ii/file/male-clothing-1 . It changes the default clothing for Male characters in TSL, I usually read all the read me's for mods I download but didn't read on this particular one, I regret it. Basically this mod bugs out commoners appearance and also the refugees on Nar Shadaa are bugged. This mod isn't a simple uninstall since it edits the appearance.2da files. In the read me, the author stated that this happened with those character models and how there's a way to fix it with the Kotor tool mod, but I couldn't really understand the process he was describing.  If any of y'all would like to help, I just want to uninstall this mod. Thanks for reading
