  1. If the door issue is ongoing, with triggers breaking or unresponsive, perhaps you could go the route of damaging the station and just having the doors opened by default? I was going to say the same thing with the original post when textures wouldn't render properly, but then I saw that you had gotten some of that fixed. However if that's still the case with doors not properly fitting or triggering, it might be a possible approach. Especially if the Rodian was killed it Kotor 1, it might make sense that the station would fall into a damaged condition without a caretaker.

  2. I have a tendency to collect Lightsabers, both in real life from SaberForge and Ultrasabers, and in my Kotor 2 (and sometimes 1) override folder. I have pretty much all of Jorn's hilts, Holowan designs, etc., but I really love the standalone hilt mods out there like the Valorous Knight's Lightsaber or the Kyle Katarn hilt.

So would anyone be willing to drop any Saber Hilt mods in this thread that I might be able to add to my Override for either game? Really it can be anything, so long as it's something you made that you don't mind someone else using in their game.

    Thank you!

  3. This is amazing! I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to help at all in this project, because I'm terrible at modding in pretty much every regard, but I'm really excited to see more screenshots and more of this! As small as it is, Yavin Station was one of my favorite locations in Kotor.

Who knows, maybe even the tombs in the valley of the dark lords, or even Dreshdae can make it over some day too! The mods I've seen worked on and released in 2018 makes me really excited to see what comes in 2019!

  4. Oh I probably wouldn't release it, I'm very far away from being any sort of a mod author. The most I can do is basic stuff with the Kotor Tool! That's part of the reason why I asked you first, because you're already naming the files for the Stream Sounds folder anyhow.

My most sincere apologies for the confusion, and I'm sorry for coming across as rude at all too!

  5. If it's only a matter of renaming the files from Player_Female_W (I believe the tag is) to Bastila, then I can probably do the work. I just wasn't sure if that was all you're doing with the files once they were configured for .wav or there was another step.

Not to mention I wasn't sure if you'd mind me tinkering with your work or not.

  6. So the files won't activate from the Override Folder, the trick was to place them into Streamsounds instead.

I thought they were working from the Override, but the vanilla female voice actress sounds close enough to Laura Bailey that I didn't realize until I tried moving the files.

Fortunately though, it's all good to go! I would just add into a readme or highlight in the files' description when you publish the final version that these need to go into Streamsounds.

I can't seem to get the same trick to work for Kotor 2, even with the mod I linked above.

If you want to release a specific version for Kotor 2 though, maybe you could try overwriting Bastila's combat dialogue with Kira's and Jaesa's. Bastila's is still left in Kotor 2's files, and you can just place her lines as the PC's in KSE. Though I don't know how much time/effort that would take to do. Would you be willing to make K2 Specific versions?

    Re-read my posts?

Sorry, I missed that one. Holiday madness is in overdrive here, so I haven't been able to follow the forum as closely as I'd like to.

I'll hop on and test out the files in the next couple of hours.

Well I can't seem to get the voice to work in game. I've tried adding it to a party NPC, and nothing shows up in the KSE soundset option. Starting a new character as a female didn't work either.

I'm thinking that the files need to be in .wav format to work in game, like how the files for sound effect replacements are. Though I thought that mp3 files would be fine, I think that's only Jedi Academy where both file formats work without issue.

If only my computer was working, I could have this done for K1 once I got home from work.  Alas, it's a no go.

On topic: Doesn't the Exile not have her voice lines playing in K2 as it stands now?

In Kotor 2 the exile in entirely mute. The voice clips from Kotor 1 still exist in the data and there are mods out there that make them usable. I think you can also access them through KSE, but I'm not sure if they actually play without the mod.
