  1. Awesome job, bead-v! I'm looking forward to playing around with this new tool.
  2. Try turning it off, re-install 1.8.1, check if game's logo in menu changes
  3. But... that doesn't make sense You did re-download 1.8.1 before re-installing, right? Also, you install it into main KotOR II folder, not any sub-folders, right? Probably so, since you say you've got files in modules, override and such. Then again, if you've got those files, I can't see how menu wouldn't change... Last thing, Steam version? If so, make sure to turn off steam's auto-update so it doesn't revert our changes.
  4. Yeah, I should have been more clear. I'm not referring to Nihilus and stuff, I meant the "restored content mod" text under KotOR's logo Rest of menu, as usual, will change depending on your progress... so at the beginning, it's Sion. Only logo changes.
  5. If those .MOD files are in proper folder (KotOR II/modules), then mod should work fine. I'd say double check installation path Also, if you install 1.8.1 (or patch for 1.8, both available in download section here since last night), main menu will change to this: Which is a very easy way to check if mod was installed correctly.
  6. We'll give you news when we have something interesting to say. Nothing super exciting happens right now, really... testers are testing, actors are voicing, I'm fixing stuff... business as usual.

    Tum Tum Tum...

All right. If somebody complains we're taking too much time with M4, I'll tell them it's all your fault

Sorry. I'll work slower next time

    Tum Tum Tum...

They're about to find out, anyway
  10. Also, (and that's just me being nitpicky), "TSLRCM mod" is redundant - it's like saying "restored content mod mod" ;)

  11. Looks good.

For point 1, you sure you have to be a member to download? I don't think so. If it is so, I'd put link to MODDB too, so one can download without registering anywhere...

  12. TSLRCM 1.8 was reported to work with steam version, but you'll need to turn auto-update off, so it doesn't reverse our changes. Also, people say that launcher won't update on steam version, so you'll have to look for in-game differences. As for installation, same as on non-steam version - run exe, select KotOR II directory, press install.

  14. I figured I could share this one...
  15. From Avellone's twitter: "I know nothing about the Black Isle Studio news announcement, doesn't involve me or Obsidian... or well, anyone that I know. ;)" In other words, I don't see a reason to care.
  16. You can use "warp 003EBO" to get back to proper Ebon Hawk.
  17. Install it into KotOR II folder, not override.
  18. To be honest, we didn't yet talk about how we'd release updates if there'll be any. But any fixes will probably be available as really small downloads, yeah.
  19. Content wise? 85% or more. I'm currently mostly improving/changing things and fixing stuff. Planning to add one or two more side-quests. Also, waiting for some voice actors to get back to me... after that, I'll probably have to go looking for more
  20. Avellone on TSLRCM: www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-07-31-chris-avellone-knights-of-the-old-republic-2-restoration-team-should-be-given-a-lot-of-kudos That is... pretty awesome!
  21. You... don't put it in override. You just need to run .exe file you downloaded, then select KotOR II folder and TSLRCM installs itself.
  22. So... over 10 000 downloads in a first week (exactly 11027 at a time of writing this post) and only three actual "bugs" reported (excluding engine related things we cannot fix). I'd call that a success! Great job team (Hassat especially). And big thank you to everyone who supported us, downloaded and played. And everyone who helped spread a word by posting about us on various sites. Hell, thanks to everyone who's reading it! Here's to another ten thousands!
