And they're still merging all the communities of players on those servers together in the transfer, so I understand why they use the term.

Ah. Well put. Yes, they are merging the community together. That is accurate. I'm driven nuts more by those that SHOULD know better use the wrong terms and confuse everyone further more than I am by folks that don't know the difference.

They are transferring everything from the old servers to the new ones to merge the community together.
