I like your ideas on where to find these holocrons and generally I'd really like to see them restored.
However I think that they should not grant Force Crush and Force Enlightenment but new powers as those are endgame powers in my eyes that shouldn't be available early in the game. I didn't like getting them from the Jedi Temple mod either.
The other issue I see is that your idea doesn't rely on the Disciple at all. There doesn't seem to be a story/quest related to him trying to find the holocrons. Instead it's just the player randomly finding them and if the DIsciple happens to be around he gets a force power too. I think there should be more to it somehow.

I agree with both comments here.
I get that choosing and cutting the new credits music takes some time especially if one is busy with real life etc. But it really shouldn't take TWO MONTHS. So the only logical reason why these mods haven't been brought back is that the authors are working on a bigger update with some new fixes/content and don't want to release a minor version for the music fixes. That'd be completely understandable but from Hassat Hunter's posts it seems pretty clear that no such update is in the works. Which leaves only one implication for me: The authors are sulky that someone removed their mod and that they have to obey the rules, so they "punish" us by not bringing the mod back. I'm NOT saying that this is what's actually going on but it's the impression I get and since we aren't told what's actually going on, that's all I have. And even though I know that it's only an impression, it sadly still lessens my opinion of the mod authors :/
So I really hope that this all gets resolved soon with the mods being re-uploaded to this site and ideally a short statement on what went on during their down time.

If I were to do that, I'd still need to figure out out how to temporarily remove the alignment stuff and symbols covering a portion of the screen in both K1 and TSL.
Not sure if that's possible, but you can also simply use the Clone Stamp tool in Photoshop to remove those (that's what I did for dark side Juhani). But technically it should also be possible to edit the .gui file of this screen to move this part of the HUD out of the way.
Sadly I can't be of help with your latest question.
Also as a suggestion: Why not make a WIP thread for this? That way people would get notified about comments and you wouldn't have to use status updates.

Yeah, you can just do that on the K1 alignment screen. The only upside of using the TSL one would be that it's in higher resolution. The K1 one won't allow you to make your new texture any bigger than the vanilla/BOSSR one.
Also, if you end up replacing that texture for Shadow, you might want to consider replacing it for the vanilla party members as well.

@Quanon: May I suggest posting this in the tutorial section? There people who need it would have a chance to see it, unlike here where it will be lost quite easy.

The po_channa2d shows her as dark sided, so I think at least that one should be different from the rest.
About the other portraits:
Akirakon is never your party member but there are sequences when you play him yourself, so he has a portrait in those.Shadow you already know.
Verbal is a partymember at some point I think, but also is the main character for at least one sequence.
Kobayashi is definetly a partymember.
Malak I don't remember to be honest.
Mech is also a partymember I think. I'm not sure on that one though.

Having such an accident always sucks but on e day that's supposed to be happy like your birthday it's even worse. But I'm glad to hear you're alright and I wish you all the best for your birthday

Very well done. Good thing they mostly used cutscenes for the trailer or that would've been a nightmare to create xD

Where did those trailers play exactly? In the same place, the legal videos are still played on PC or somewhere else?
Remaking those would definetly be interesting, but I have to admit that I'd rather use my time to make other mods^^ (and I don't really have the skill to make those videos anyway).

A probably minor thing: Script parameters in TSL
-
I'd like to learn about scripted cutscenes, meaning scripted fights etc.

I'm at UTC+1 and I should be available on pretty much every evening except for Tuesdays.

A great idea indeed. I will attend as well unless it's in the middle of the night for me^^

It's working for me.
And she sounds good I would say, but it's hard to judge without knowing alternatives. But she would definetly be a huge improvement compared to the current VO.

I'm not an audio guy but it sounds amazing to me. I couldn't tell that it's not the official filter.

I just checked the German opening crawls and they seemed to be correct.

I couldn't agree more.
Not to mention that none of their screenshots look like Star Wars and that taking donations is probably not legal...

Thanks for sharing that experience with us and good luck on your path. Glad to hear you managed to get away from that system and that you can now once again live your life the way you want to.

I was looking into pretty much the same topic yesterday and from what I read, the voice files are in the swtor_en_us_*_1.tor files, grouped by planet.
Rishi should be swtor_en_us_area_rishi_1.tor for example.

How is the file naming in SWTOR? Or better: How long would it take to find a certain sound file or texture or whatever?
