Oh, nice work! I had noticed this as well, and was working on a skin, but I didn't add the additional details, like the Shoulder padding. Just a straight up recolor.
Now all that's left is somebody to try and maybe remodel the TSL model to match the K1 version as much as possible.

"Darth Insanious and Darth Icky"
...............
I'm going to remember that untll the day I die, and laugh maniacally at the thought. And I am mad as all hell, because of the many Star Wars games that could have been released years ago. A Republic Commando Sequel, a KOTOR 3, a true Battlefront 3, and 2 more Jedi Knight-related games. Man, where is the alternate universe where those games weren't trashed?
I just hope that we see some 'good' Star Wars games in the near future, but my hopes remain very low because EA is charge of Star Wars gaming. Would expect if that a KOTOR 3 were to ever happen, that it would have DLC up the ass.

Way to be a buzz kill
I mean, I'm sure that's an abridged map, out of necessity and convenience. Certainly they can't fit all of the established canon planets on there and I'm sure more planets will be added as more backstory is established. It's possible too that some planets are not noteworthy as they're no longer inhabited? I admittedly don't know much about The Clone Wars in the first place.
Hard to say. Could be a completely new event not chronicled, could be an homage to The Battle of Malachor V, or it could be a "rebranding" of The Battle of Malachor V.
A "Scourge" definitely would suitably describe The Battle of Malachor V.
In that Reddit thread, other people noted Ossus and Tython as possibilities too. The inclusion of Rakata Prime in that map seemed rather suspect though as it previously hadn't been referenced in any other canon post-EU cleanse. Onderon and Dantooine have apparently been referenced in The Clone Wars. Either way, it's a nice nod to us KOTOR fans, as we continue to cling to canon
That would be pretty cool if they tied this new plot to Knights of the Old Republic. It seems improbable at this point but we can still hope.
I'm not sure of Snoke being an ancient Rakatan, but anything is possible I suppose. It seems more likely that he is some form of Darth Plagueis (a some other theories have pointed out).
When I heard that Rakata Prime/Lehon was put into the new Canon Galaxy Map I lost my bananas. That, plus in The Clone Wars when Malachor's been mentioned, and there's an episode that briefly shows a KOTOR Era Mandalorian Helmet. And I remember Revan WAS going to be in a TCW Episode as a spirit, but the idea got cut by Lucas. To me, I like to think that KOTOR 1 & 2 are still in the actual Canon.

Hmm, well after seeing TFA, I'm definitely interested to see what else is in store. I think a spin-off film might work, but either way, I'm going to remain a *little* skeptical with each new film.

I just came back, and damn, I really liked it.

Great to see, Jorak! I'll be using this next time I try playing through TSL.

by not working, I mean those models are crashing my game when I equip them and are not showing up on KSE, I had to cheat them in... These three robes are working fine though:
- combatrobe_01 = (Reinforced Jedi Padawan Robe)- combatrobe_02 = (Reinforced Dark Jedi Padawan Robe)- combatrobe_03 = (Reinforced Jedi Knight Robe)But these ones are not:- combatrobe_04 = (Reinforced Dark Jedi Knight Robe)- combatrobe_05 = (Reinforced Jedi Master Robe)- combatrobe_06 = (Reinforced Dark Jedi Master Robe)- combatrobe_07 = (Exile's Reinforced Robe)- combatrobe_08 = (Dark Exile's Reinforced Robe)- combatrobe_09 = (Thexan's Robe)- combatrobe_10 = (Arcann's Robe)I was using a vanilla version of the game when I tried them because I was testing several new mods
P.S. Great Job Loki, the ones I have used look really nice
Hrrmmmmm.... well, these robes DO replace the Armored Flight Suits (The "K" Models), so the first three makes sense for showing up, the rest of them I don't get why they didn't. I'll have to look into that. Also, at the time of testing I forgot that TSLRCM and M4-78EP weren't installed.
Also, for those that DON'T have icons, don't worry, that was a minor goof-up on my part.................. I forgot the Icon TGAs.
(I am so sorry)
EDIT: Alllllright, new file's up, now with Icons that I had forgotten.
-
What do you mean by "not working"? No icons? Crashing the game on equip? Not giving the right properties?
Here's a picture of each of the robes, in order. The only issue I encountered was that the ones you named don't have icons, but that's all I found...
Wait, they don't have icons? Odd... When I tested them they had icons. Also, is the sword sticking through the character's arm a glitch with the cape-less model?
EDIT: OH NO, I FORGOT THE ICONS

- Jedi Master Armor
- Dark Jedi Master Armor

Now, go to the folder labled "Extras".
- Models with No Cape by Fair Strides
These are a different set of Models that remove the cape.
- Dark Side Requirement
Makes it so in order to use Darth Malak's Armor & your Dark side Armor, you MUST be a Dark Side User.

Alright, that's it. Have fun!

Mod has currently been uploaded as "Reinforced Jedi Robes BETA". Reason it's in beta is because I want to make it available in-game at some point, and currently I'm lacking in skill for doing so. I'll either do it myself, or ask somebody for help when they have the time.
EDIT: Feb. 17th, 2016.
Alright, I'm almost done with a newer version with my mod. Now it's going to replace the M class robes, AKA, The Jal Shey Robes. Just gotta work on the UTI's, testing, and then it'll be good to go, for the most part. Here's some screens of the renders I've got.
New Textures. Completely re-did everything for the most part. And the far right one is a Malak outfit using his body Textures. (And yes, I checked, his files are still in TSL, no need for the whole Porting issue.)

Slight Dissapointment and Long winded Status Update inbound:
Ok, so for those who have been wondering, as to where the hell I've gone, and why I haven't updated this for a while, is because of a few things.
1) Laziness:
I'm an extremely lazy person, and don't deny that I haven't up-holded on something I said I was going to do or might do. I'm not exactly the most productive person in the world, and any productivity goes straight to other things I have to get done, like school.
2) Slight snag:
I kept debating on replacing the M or K class armors, but considering I like using the custom Armored Jedi robes model, I'm just gonna replace the K armors.
Now, the REAL issue is this: I only know about texture editing, and I want to spawn these robes on certain planets in certain areas. I was thinking of asking somebody to do it for me, but I don't want to take up other people's time that they could be using on their own mods, so I've decided to learn it myself. It'll take a bit, but I'm gonna try my hand at spawning some stuff into sayyyy, Peragus, as testing.
The next time I post something in here, it'll be a status update on the mod. It might not be tomorrow, or this week, but hopefully soon.
Wish me luck...
*hops back into my hidey hole of horror and despair*

Now THIS has earned a perma-install to my K1 Override. Great job, Kex!

WTF Steam?
in TSLRCM
Ohhh, that hurt to process... Just, actually what the hell? This reminds me of the time when I recommended the KOTOR series to a friend, and he told me "No, it looks like crap. It looks like runescape." Yeah... nah.... nah, man.

Looking great!

Allright, I suppose it's time for some (slight) progress.
Made a somewhat custom Jedi Robe for the Exile. Don't worry, there's a Dark Jedi Variant for you Dark Siders. Also, finally worked on the Icons for the current robes (I just used the renders I've shown before for them).
Currently, I have in mind where I want to place these robes in-game, but I currently lack the skills to do so, but I'll ask around for some help and see what'll happen.
-
Oh wow, that looks really good. Even though it's a subtle change, it still makes a very big impact I find. Keep up the good work!

Welcome to the party!

I've gotta say, that's pretty amazing what you've done DP. And I agree with the use of 2K textures over 4K.

Well this would be an interesting idea, and I'd be down for it. Though, I'm waiting for EA to peddle Day One DLC for it, like "Pre-order for Revan's Robes DLC" or some crap like that.
-
whats funny is when i first played this i was around 5-6 so yeah i was pretty young and i guess i wasn't really "reading it all the way through" i dunno to long ago to exactly understand what was going through that dumb mind of mine but i killed the rancor without the mines i had bunch of grenades and i just spammed them till it died ,a few years later as i grew in understanding of my actions did i read every single thing from top to bottom (it was worth it this game expanded my vocabulary as a child)did i learn that its really easy to stealth with mission up to that pile of corps and but the odder thing (i forgot it please don't shoot me) this game really did leave a massive impression on my.Even more so with kotor ll both had wondrous story telling that you don't see anymore and are most likely the two best starwars games to date. What Fun memories....
Hah, I did the same thing when I was younger and playing K1 for the first time. At first I thought I could take it on using Melee, which didn't work out so well, then, like you, I just tossed a bunch of Grenades at it till it died.
-
Sooo, I'm trying something out.... I'm trying to apply the Jal Shey Robe's Metal Skirt onto this robe model, but I'm unsure if it's possible without it looking a little wonky.
Here's my... 2nd attempt at it? Better than the last one. Still, I find the stretching on the texture to be a bit annoying. This ain't gonna be easy.
EDIT: Okay, so I tried doing this and... I'm not sure. I'm not too happy with it, and find it needs some work. I think I might just go about Replacing the K (Flight suit thing) models for this mod.
-
Yeah, the colors are matching for the legs and crotch. I have the `Pants` layer selecting both at the same time. Is that bad?
-
Ok, here's a quick update with the Grey/Gray Jedi Armor. I tried to sort of blend it between a Light and Dark Jedi.
-
Sorry for the lack of updates, I've been a bit busy with things. I haven't done much since the last post, and I've also been trying to figure out the best way to implement the robes. I was thinking in terms of obtaining them, having the Jedi Robes be found in a footlocker somewhere on Dantooine, and the Sith/Dark Jedi Robes be found on Korriban, respectively. Now, the part that runs into a bit of a snag, is which models do I replace for the Skirtless and Normal models?
Also Stats-wise, I'd consider making these robes have a Defense Rating of anywhere between 4-10. Obviously Padawan Robes being the lowest tier, and Master Robes being the highest tier.

Post it as a separate mod or as a MediaFire link in the thread? Because all I have is a texture, I haven't gone into implementing it into the game at all, so far.
