Wow, those new computer panels and workbenches look awesome! I agree with Mailkor that the workbench should have a detailed looking Hydrospanner. I'm looking forward to downloading this once it's done!
-
Hey, this looks cool... the colors remind me of Isaac Clarke's Helmet from the first Dead Space game.
-
In tandem with EA, I suspect, as they bought rights to publish Star Wars games for Disney.
Ergo, "Welcome to the world of Day 1 DLC, microtransactions, Origin, and games designed for Call of Duty crowd, in your Star Wars. Enjoy, give us money and be happy you're giving us money, scum."
I reeeally hope EA doesn't do that. And if, IF, KOTOR 3 does happen, I don't want it riddled with different DLC sets.... just give me 1 or 2 good expansions that average a 6 hour runtime, and I'm good. I wouldn't want it to be "Cause **** you, give me more money: The Game"
Anyways, I agree with the idea of having an installer requiring you to have BOTH games installed for it to work.
-
Good to hear it, VP! I take it the Crimson saber color won't make the final cut, eh?
-
*crawls into shame box with you...* I have them installed, but haven't actually played much of them...
Same. It says I've only played 17 minutes of MotS, 33 minutes of Dark Forces 2 and 79 minutes for Dark Forces 1, but I was just screwing around in the first missions... or ended up getting lost. I do plan on playing them, I just need to fix a few things because oh boy are there graphical issues... I get one for all 3 of them that makes my game look all thermal vision. I think I fixed Dark Forces 1. Don't know when exactly I'll be doing that but I'll get to it one day. Right now I recently got the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection (MGS 2. MGS 3, MGS Peace Walker + original Metal Gear 1 & 2) and Resident Evil Revelations for Xbox 360 so I'll be busy... plus Dark Souls will be free for Xbox Gold Members June 1st, so that too... so many games...
-
Wow, that looks 10x better! Maybe make the grey a liiiittle darker... just so it sorta matches with the original.
-
Man, this looks so cool. Now I'm wanting to play Jedi Outcast and Dark Forces II. Good thing I bought the Jedi Knight Collection on steam a few years ago. (I actually haven't played Dark Forces 1, 2 or MotS to completion... *crawls into shame box*) I'll be happy to see when this is done!

Ahh this texture's a weird one when it comes to the texture for the visor. The texture for the visor is actually in the lower right corner and is REALLY small. If you're trying to get rid of the visor, I don't know how to do that, but I'm sure there's a way.
-
Reminds me of the Nar Shaddaa levels in Jedi Outcast. These new areas look cool!
-
Hooray, it's done! I'm going to be playing this over the weekend for sure. I'm very eager to so what's changed since the test version! *whispered voice* Also you may need to fix my name in the testers section (the "o" is a zero, by the way), but it's okay. I'm just happy this is done so I can have more fun with TSL.
Also I dun goofed and wrote something similar on the reviews section of the download. Any chance you could remove that?

May 23rd's a Friday.... Nice. I'll be happy to see just how many sabers are in the official release.
-
What did you have in mind for the modding tool idea?
-
Really, eh? Huh... guess it's just my game that's messed up or something.
After all I have a mod that makes it so the clothing appearances go back to using the K1 columns... PMBBL, PMBBM, etc.
-
The way my mod works is just a simple model replacement. In KOTOR the body groups apply to different classes so the Small Body Group would apply to Scoundrel Class. The Medium body group for the Scouts, and finally the Large Body Groups for Soldiers... might also apply to Canderous but I don't know. But in TSL... I don't know what they did, they just made almost everybody the same height. But anyways, the small medium and large body groups are still in the game files, but Obsidian made it so pretty much everybody uses the medium body group by default. I took a look at the apearance.2da file and All player Characters, Party Members/Companions and NPCs that use armors use the Medium Body Model.
But my mod for TSL just replaces all the body models with just one body model... either Large, Medium (Default), or Small.
Hope I helped.... if not, then I'm bad at explaining things.

In turns of the mod I want to make? I'll say this for now, the mod with our character above is a Jedi Apprentice, but then becomes a Padawan. He goes to do something (Haven't figured it out yet) and when he's on his way back, Malak's Bombardment of the Jedi Academy begins. In terms with just anything else? Probably some Reskins... custom models here and there. I do want to make some things like swords, masks, etc. Once I learn more on how to do everything I'll see what I'll make.
One thing I had in mind was making this a mask in K1/TSL
EDIT:
I made a prequel style version of my characters robes as well.

Hey, Box. I'm not really sure with this one. I think it was one of those things Obsidian goofed on when making TSL... I noticed it long before I made my TSL Player Character Height Adjustment mod... I think everybody used the Medium body group or something... But anyways I think they just decided to get rid of the feature, but as far as I know, there's nothing wrong with TSLRCM when it comes to that. Maybe I should play through the game again, and check to make sure everythings okay...

Nice stuff! Can't wait to see the final product.

Hello, and welcome to my "Work In Progress" thread!
This is where any of my future projects will be placed, rather than making multiple threads for different things. With my current skills set, I'll only be able to do texture work, but I *will* eventually want to learn how to do scripting, modelling, etc. etc.
But at the current moment, I'm more focused on my School work and personal life than this but I will eventually get to what I just said above.
Even though KOTOR & TSL are now a decade old, I still enjoy playing it and playing with mods from the community. There are some that merely observe and some who actually make mods... with my personality, I tend to lean into both these catagories.
*Ahem* But anyways, my ideas are still coming and going but I have an idea for a small mod but I'll talk more on that later once I develop a plotline, characters, etc. I have one design for a character who's not yet named but I have what he'll look like down.
The idea of what I'll work on is a sort of mini mod that will begin in KOTOR and end in TSL, and mostly takes place on Dantooine.
My unamed character will look like this in KOTOR. The face is still a work in progress but you get the idea.
More to come in the future...
EDIT: Actually, I have decided to not do any BIG projects, as I lack motivation and few other things. I may take a shot at this later on in the future, once I've learned some things. -
I like these! Especially the Jedi Master Robes. I never understood why BioWare decided to have 16 different robes but only 4 textures for them. I'd like to one day see the robes from the Brotherhood of Shadow mod on these models.

Description:
=============
This mod is exactly the same as my K1 Player Character Height Adjustment mod (Link to that mod: http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/397-k1-player-character-height-adjustment/ ), except for TSL. Huge thanks to Kainzorus Prime for letting me know that the Large, Medium, and Small body types were still in the TSL files. Turns out they were just mish-mashed around in the models section on Kotor Tool.

Rockin'.
I see what you did there.
Quanon this new skybox makes Malachor feel like a terrifying place to be in! Nice job!
-
Ah. Makes sense, then.
-
I really want to have this, and then edit a version to have hair so that he looks like he did under the name Haazen.
Wait, IS Sion really Haazen? I mean, they do share a lot of things, but Wookiepedia says they're two different people. I'm just a little confused.
But still, I like these ideas. It'd be interesting to see Sion w/ hair.
-
That'll be cool to see Sion w/ a glowing eye like on the box art. Make him seem more dark side-y, I guess.
[TSL] NPC Overhaul Mod 1.22

Hey, I've got a got question: If I use this mod in one playthrough, then start another playthough without the mod installed will there be any problems? I noticed it modifies other things, besides the Appearance.2da file. I can't remember what though, because it's been a long time since I last installed it.
