I loved the idea of Remote Influence Mod, a mod created by tk102 in which Bao-Dur's remote could tell you the influence of each of your party members. The issue is that TSLRCM has a modified version of Bao-Dur's remote dialog file in the override folder, creating compatibility issues with the Remote Influence Mod and TSLRCM. So I decided to use the security system computer on the Ebon Hawk to display this information instead of the remote, which should make this mod way less prone to compatibility issues. -

Install TSLRCM before installing this mod, as it relies on content from the docks. Enhance your Citadel Station experience with this Medical Unit Quest Mod, which adds a specialized medical droid to the Citadel Station Medical Unit, along with a brand new questline. Mod Features: New NPC: Medical Droid: Adds a unique medical droid to the Medical Unit on Citadel Station. The droid serves as a central point for the mod's new questline. New Questline: Introduces a branching questline centered around the Medical Unit. Offers distinct light and dark side choices, impacting the quest's outcome. Explores and adds lore to the Medical Unit, Czerka Corporation, and Citadel Station. NPC Appearance Changes: Adds new visual appearances for commoner NPCs around the different areas of the Station. This will try to add a more unique feel to each area. Enhanced NPC Dialogue: Implements new dialogue options for commoner and Ithorian NPCs throughout Citadel Station. These new dialogue lines attempt to add more ambient information and world building to the station. Dialogue's may also reflect the players actions. About This Mod: The goal of this mod is to make the Medical Unit on Citadel Station feel a little less empty than it originally does. It attempts to tie in some lore to the Medical Unit, Czerka, and Citadel Station. The quest also features both light and dark side endings. This mod also changes up some of the NPC's on Citadel Station by giving them more varied appearances and dialogue options, attempting to remove some of the cloning effect found in the original game. It adds a few alien commoners around the station with new dialogue, and also changes the appearances of a few of the human commoners. In addition, some of Ithorians in the compound have been changed so that they're not all blue. There is also new lines of dialogue given to each of the Ithorian's, so that all five of them don't repeat the same three lines. Disclaimer: Please only use the latest version, 0.98e. There is still some dialogue that needs to be added and changed/fixed. Also, there are skill checks that don't work for some dialogue options in the quest, and they will just automatically succeed each time. I will try to fix the code/scripts relating to these skill checks if possible. I apologize for any issues and or conflicts with other mods. This is my first time creating a mod for this game. For future reference, I plan to add these characters later into the game at some point. If I can get voice acting to work in game, I plan to add new lines of dialogue to the human commoners as well. Installation: Just use TSLpatcher and then put the files from the override folder, into the games override folder. Requires TSLRCM to be installed first, since it relies on content from the docks. You must start a new game for the mod to work. I also highly recommend using this mod below, if you want to get rid of some of the cloning effect even further in other areas of the game. Use it in conjunction with this mod if you want even more NPC variety on the station. -

Port Patch Notes - A lot of changes and the inclusion of a custom launcher which I have been holding back for a while now. Brotherhood Patch Notes - Not many changes, this is just a release to keep it in line with the other parts of the project, this still remains largely a proof of concept that porting other mods is fairly easy and requires little work. It's worth noting that Brotherhood still isn't fully tested. I have been holding back this latest release for a little while now, it's still far from perfect but the new launcher makes things a little more fancy! Also, a reminder, that my current goal is to finalise the creation of this foundational framework for expanding the games before adding in new content. My next step is to finish writing the Save Importer and Save Converter into the launcher, which will allow users to import saves from KotOR1 to use in the port and import completed game saves from KotOR1 to effect the choices you can make in KotOR2. From there I can finally begin to think about laying out the additional content for the new worlds in both games. Cathalan Improvement Project By OzilsEyes What started out as a learning tool for myself, actually turned into quite a fun project... CATHALAN! Orange returns (Sorry!). I was really eager to brush up on my TSL modding skills, I'm fairly new to modding in general. I'd downloaded Cathalan and tried it years back, realising I could never complete it & it was just a buggy mess. When I started working on it, I couldn't believe my eyes (not because of the brightness of the orange either!). It needed a LOT of TLC. It really had the potential when Jaevyn first released it, it was a new planet, new quests, new characters, new items... but, it was let down by the amount of bugs and to an extent, incompletable content. I think I've now got it to a state, where it's actually a viable mod to add to your playthrough, If you've never actually completed the story, please take the time to do so, it's actually got quite a cool ending, which I enjoyed the first time I played through it after finally fixing half the quests. I firmly believe the community is driven by great ideas & great mods, the original creator, once had a great idea & tried to make it work. I don't know the history of Jaevyn or Cathalan, I know it's had it's rough patches, example: copyrighted music. In this post, I'll run through all the changes I have made, there may be spoilers to please, read at your own discretion. Now compatible with: TSLRCM M4-78EP Coruscant: Jedi Temple Mod Expanded Galaxy Mod Compatibility install with TSLRCM, M4-78EP & Coruscant will update the galaxy map to include 'Cathalan'. As the game restraints are 16 planet slots, this is not possible with the Expanded Galaxy Mod. To get around this, I have added an additional NPC who spawns on the Ebon Hawk, he has a shop (different items based on main story progression), medical table, some lore & fun dialogs. SM-K1 (Definitely not named like this because it looks like an abbreviation of my dogs name: Smokey) On the expanded galaxy compatibility install, go to the security computer on the ebon hawk, choose 'Device Memory', a cutscene will occur where SM-K1's hologram will appear: He will give you a list of uncharted planets, one being Cathalan which you will be able to travel to. Installation: Please note: You do not need to have the original Cathalan installed to play this mod, if you do have it installed do not worry just run the installation as normal. Download the package, unzip & run the holopatcher.exe Options: 1. Install Cathalan Improvement Project - Compatibility with the base game + TSLRCM + M4-78EP 2. Install Compatibility with Coruscant: Jedi Temple Mod - Compatible with use with Coruscant: Jedi Temple Mod 3. Install Compatibility with Expanded Galaxy Project - Compatible with Expanded Galaxy Project Choose your preferred option, then let the installer run. Start up your game. It's advised to start a new game BUT it should be compatible with existing saves. Uninstallation: Holopatcher will back up your files when installing, you can use the installation / backup folder to re-place your old files. Please note: These are subject to change, I've updated a few already since release. Overall, working on the project was very fun, it gave me a good insight into modding KOTOR TSL, which is what it was intended to do. I decided to share the project as it's actually quite a fun playthrough, it gives you the benefit of a few extra levels, some credits, items etc. There is so much more I would have loved to do with this but I didn't want to change it too much other than fix the bugs and add a few things. WARNING: 11/29/22 - It appears that the "big" font size category is causing crashes for people attempting to open certain lockboxes in the Taris Undercity. Other sizes, such as "verybig", are unaffected. I will be working to recreate and fix this issue over the weekend. For now, I recommend players either choose a size that isn't "big" or uninstall this mod until the issue is resolved. Sorry for any inconvenience! Have you tried playing KOTOR 1 at high resolution? Then you may have noticed the text does not scale properly. As a result, text can look embarassingly small. Fortunately, this mod contains an assortment of font files that the game can use. They are organized by various sizes with the 3 kinds of text the game uses; they are also interchangeable! Using these files should give players an easier time when playing in high resolutions, customizable to everyone's needs. Hopefully everyone who wishes to play KOTOR 1 in high resolution will have a more enjoyable experience, and that one of the more common problems facing the community has been properly addressed. The attached file is a compressed archive that contains a ReadMe file, and a folder containing each set of fonts. READ THE README FILE BEFORE INSTALLING! The ReadMe contains an important explanation of what each font folder is, and instructions as to how to properly install the mod. Improper installation could lead to very unreadable text! DISCLAIMERS: You will NOT be able to see small numbers, the count of grenades for example, via the HUD. This is a problem with the game itself & how it handles larger text inside smaller HUD elements; I am unable to fix this. The game is simply too old and we don't have access to its source code (yet). This mod is NOT compatible with KOTOR 2 TSL. This mod only exclusively works with KOTOR 1. If you are using the Steam or Mobile versions of KOTOR 2, you shouldn't be experiencing this problem anyways. As far as I know, there are no compatibility issues with other mods. However, if you come across any problems or something not working as intended, please let me know here or via my Discord: Xela#6419 If you are only playing the game at 1080p or less, this mod may not be necessary. Text only stops scaling up to 1080p resolution (as far as I know). It's possible this mod will only cause issues if you play the game at less than 1080p resolution. These fonts were NOT my creation! They were found and extracted from the Russian 🇷🇺 version of KOTOR which inexplicably has larger fonts with a variety of sizes, on top of being able to work in English as well.
