About This File

I've never liked the KotOR Mandalorians. I wished them to look like Jango and Boba Fett. I mean, I wished them to have Fett-style armors and helmets.
So, I've tried to make such mod. It is not perfect, but I hope you'll like it. It will change the appearance of all Mandalorians in the game, including Mandalore (he transformed into Jango).

 

Features:
- Changed appearance of ALL Mandalorians in game. Now they use completely new armors and helmets, which are made in style of Jango and Boba Fett.
- Mandalore transformed into Jango Fett. Available two versions of his armor - with jetpack and without it. You may use any, because now you can unequip his armor (and see Canderous).
- Bralor transformed into Boba Fett. I've also made him more dangerous opponent in the Battle Circle (since you may use anything when you fight him he was too easy to beat. And they call him a champion?!)
- Kelborn now have unique armor.
- New Mandalorian armors for your PC and party members. At this point, they are available for male characters only.
- Mandalore comes equipped with 2 Westar Blaster pistols and special Mandalorian flamethrower. For those of you who like Boba I also provided EE-3 Blaster rifle. All this items are quite powerfull, but IMO that will not break game's balance ('cause ranged weapons are NOT effective in TSL).

 

Credits:
- NeoMarz1 - for creating awesome Mandalorian model for Jedi Academy. I've used this model in this version of MOD.
- Don Kain - I've used some texture parts (symbol on Kelborn's armor) from his JA mandalorian skinpack.
- Creator of original textures for Westar blaster pistol (sorry, I don't know your name)
- Orsan - I used&altered 2 textures he made for KotOR1 (Boba and Jango armors on the upgrade screen).
- Lit Ridl - for allowing me to modify his flamethrower script.

 

Permissions:
Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES ANY OF MY MODS TO BE UPLOADED TO STEAM WORKSHOP.
Anything else - be my guest, use like you want, just give credit to me.

My bad. Tha last part should look like: "All this items are quite powerfull, but IMO that will not break game's balance ('cause ranged weapons are NOT effective in TSL). "

Wow,..looks AMAZING.

Im just not sure if I could now adjust to the Mandalorians all being a bunch of Boba Fetts..

 

BUT..I am game, so Im downloading this and trying it to see how I adapt. :)

You'll need to edit your appearance.2da file. Just edit all standart mando lines (numbers 35, 351 and 352) to be same like Bobas line (it's labeled "DM_Boba_Fett" and located somewhere in the bottom of file).

I'm assuming these are all disguise items, no?

 

Can I ask how you add stuff onto the models, ie gun holsters, etc? If it's too much to explain, simply reply with "it's complicated" ;)

It's complicated ;)

 

BTW, in this version I did not added stuff to exiting models - I've added completely new models.

Amazing work, friend. Can't play the game without it, great job etc. etc. I remember your old mod had a cool set called the scout set. Anyways hope to see it available for the chicks one day.

Strange, it never happened to me. I'll check it again, maybe I screwed the installer... or forgot to put some files in the archieve... or something else...

Sorry for trouble, but you must understand that this is a beta-version, so bugs are possible.

Or maybe I'll just cut that suit from final version. It was supposed to be an easter egg anyway.

Hey, you are modding in your spare time. I completely understand. Your models are amazing, When I saw that set I was like wow...I will always play mira now. See, the fact you made the helmet detach was amazing. I wouldn't cut it friend. Furthermore, I installed and tried the suit on a vanilla game with only MM installed, so it must be an installer error or something. Again thank you for this amazing mod sir.

I've been working on the nex version for some time. At this point I have a new high-poly mando model (it still need a lot of tweaking, but already looks better than the old one), and the skins which are already in mod, but I plan to add additional armors for ALL unique Mandalorians (like Esok, Zuka, Xarga, etc) and I need some help with this. If you're intrested in this, pm me here or at lucasforums.

I need help as I had some issues with your mod to show it working right. All mods I have are ones that are tslrcm 1.7 compatibility and are from here as I love this site. All mods worked and then I downloaded yours this morning. Now when I try and put on the armor on one of my males the helmet colors work fine but the body of the armor is all in white. It's even so when I go to Dxun. The Mandalorians have colored helmets and there body is all in white. I am unsure what would of caused this as all mods worked until I installed this one and the tslpatcher encountered no errors. I know a bit how to edit an appearance.2da file if I know what I need to add or what should of been added to what lines. The lines added to my appearance 2.da file are lines 677-682.

Thank you. I did not know how to take screen shot of my.2da file so typed it out here. I hope I was clear in what happened and if you have solution. I can change the lines in the .2da file if anything is missing I just need to know what to fill in for what.

This is REALLY strange problem.

One thing I can tell for sure - it have nothing to do with appearance.2da (if the problem were here you won't see even white model, and for sure no helmet).

First of all, check if texture (boba_body.tga, jango_body.tga, etc) files are in override. If they're not - try to copy them manually from tslpatchdata folder to override.

If they're there, then... I don't know. Looks like your PC for the unknown reasons cannot display these textures.

I have a Problem with the mandalor model not showing or sometimes Mandalor turns into handmaiden. I'm have TSLRCM 1.8 installed and Tor sabers mod, but it can't be an incompatibility issue because i checked the files and the Movie mandalorains mod doesn't have any conflicting files. Any help would be appreciated.

my only dislike is about how they are meant to look different from boba fett and so on..... its a design from Knights Of the Old Republic comics, so it was actually canon lol, but either way the models look great

I'm getting the following message when I try to install it: "An error occured! Invalid game Folder specified, Dialog.tlk file not found! Make sure you have selected the correct Folder. (Gen-7)

 

As target folder I designated "Override". That is supposed to be the correct one, right?
