OVERVIEW

Forgotten UI Textures upscales several overlooked or low resolution interface textures in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II — The Sith Lords.

The mod originally started as a simple upscale for the gamepad menu and controller icons because they looked noticeably low resolution when playing with a controller.

I later expanded it to cover many additional interface textures, including icons, character portraits, galaxy maps, GUI backgrounds, and other UI elements.

All textures were upscaled at 4x resolution using Topaz Gigapixel.


WHAT'S INCLUDED
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

The mod is divided into separate files so you can install only the textures you want.


GAMEPAD MENU AND CONTROLLER ICONS

Upscales the gamepad menu textures and controller-specific icons.

These controller-specific textures are not covered by TSL - AI Upscaled Icon Overhaul.


SWOOP RACE OVERLAYS

Upscales all swoop racing interface overlays.


TSLRCM MAIN MENU

Upscales the TSLRCM main menu logo and main menu cloud textures.

The main menu clouds are included with the upscaled logo.

The main menu logo requires the TSL Main Menu Model Fix and its prerequisites.


ICONS AND UI — MAIN FILE

Upscales all interface icons and gui textures using Topaz Gigapixel at 4x resolution.

This file includes:

• UI icons

• Item icons

• Weapon icons

• Armor and equipment icons

• Character portraits

• Player-character portraits

• Party-member portraits

• Galaxy map textures

• Galaxy map icons

• GUI backgrounds

• Additional interface textures and icons


ICONS AND UI — TSLRCM PATCH

Includes additional and replacement UI textures for users of The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod.

Requires the Icons and UI main file and TSLRCM.


ICONS AND UI — KOTOR 2 COMMUNITY PATCH

Includes additional and replacement UI textures for users of the KOTOR 2 Community Patch.

Requires the Icons and UI main file and the KOTOR 2 Community Patch.


INSTALLATION
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

1. Download and extract the file or files you want to use.

2. Copy the included Override folder into your main KOTOR II installation directory.

3. Merge the folders and replace files when prompted.


ICONS AND UI PATCHES

Install the Icons and UI main file first.

Install the TSLRCM or KOTOR 2 Community Patch file afterward.

Only install a compatibility patch if you use its corresponding mod.


REQUIREMENTS AND COMPATIBILITY

Requires Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II — The Sith Lords.

Compatible with The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod.

Compatible with the KOTOR 2 Community Patch.

The TSLRCM main menu file requires the Main Menu Model Fix and its prerequisites.

The Icons and UI compatibility patches require their corresponding mods and the Icons and UI main file.

 

COMPATIBILITY NOTE

The Icons and UI main file replaces many of the same textures included in:

TSL - AI Upscaled Icon Overhaul

TSL - AI Upscaled PC and Party Portrait Overhaul

Installing Forgotten UI Textures afterward will overwrite matching icons and character portraits from those mods.

You do not need to use those two overhaul mods alongside the Icons and UI main file unless you prefer some of their textures and intend to mix the files manually.
