So I've run into a bit of an issue. I'm working on a mod to overhaul Taris's NPCs for immersive purposes and the one area I'm having trouble is attempting to give Holdan a unique head. I have the texture, new rows in heads and appearance, and the models, but the closest I can get is the black void head on his body.

 

Anyone got some pointers?

Where does the head model come from?

It works in the Model Viewer, but that doesn't say that much.
I don't see anything obvious from looking at the files alone. I added it to the portraits and I don't even get a head model without textures in the character creator.

It's a retexture of Dustil's head, so it definitely exists as far as KotOR's systems should be concerned, and I'm using Dustil's head model just renamed properly using a hex edit. However, when I try to load the module to check, there is either no head or the terrifying black void with static/glowing eyes that I mentioned. It is quite odd imo.

Innocent simple question - how many chars is your filename?

Edit - if it isn't obvious from the lazy question, I have not had a time to look at your files 😇😇

I did get it working with your 1024 version in the char creator. I did redo the models, not sure which step made things work.
I think the 2da work was good, so just sending you the model files I redid, I hope that does the trick.
