DarthVarkor 384 Posted January 28, 2018 Kreia's Fall in HD with original sound & music View File "Kreia's Fall in HD with original sound & music." Author: Darth Varkor Contact Info: PM me on DeadlyStream About this mod: Based on a thread started by Sith Holocron over on DeadlyStream (and a suggestion from DarthParametric), I decided to record the in-game version of KreMov01, Kreia's Fall and sync it with the original version's audio. This in-game version existed (I believe) in TSLRCM a while ago, but was eventually left out due to the SFX not matching those of the original BIK movie; Kreia's scream, the SFX of Sion smashing her into the wall, etc. So, I decided to edit the footage and sync it with the original audio to create a more complete experience. This involved trimming the in-game version at some points to match the original beat for beat, but I tried to get it as close as possible. The edited video was recorded and exported in 1080p resolution and looks great when played as a .wmv file, however, I should note that the conversion to a .bik format has lowered the quality somewhat, however, it is still leaps over the original 2004 version. Installation: Simply extract the "KreMov01" from either the vanilla or reskin folder to your Movies folder, located within your SWKotOR 2 directory, when prompted to override the original file, click yes. Uninstallation: Remove the "KreMov01" BIK file. Be sure to put the original BIK back in, otherwise who knows what will happen. ***I recommend making a back-up of the original "KreMov01" in case this you want to uninstall this mod.*** Bugs: None that I know of, this shouldn't interfere with any other mods. *Please DO NOT re-upload this mod without my permission.* Special Thanks to: - DarthParametric for providing the evil Kreia model with both hands. - DeadMan for the TFU-style reskin of Sion. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions/suggestions! Submitter DarthVarkor Submitted 01/27/2018 Category Mods TSLRCM Compatible Yes
sEcOnDbOuToFiNsAnItY 60 Posted January 28, 2018 Neat! ... We're really not gonna rest until we've filed every last minor imperfection off of Lonna Vash's left earlobe, are we?
DarthVarkor 384 Posted February 6, 2018 Version 2, now including Kreia with BOTH hands intact, is now up. Thanks again for your help, DarthParametric!
DarthParametric 3,782 Posted February 7, 2018 Seems like the ultimate version will require an animation adjustment. Here's a slow-mo showing the first instance of the hood clipping into the wall during animation CUT001W: https://www.darthparametric.com/images/TSL_Kreas_Fall_Wall_Clip_01.gif I think the hood will have to either be fully folded down, and stay down, or it will have to remain fully up. I don't think it is practical to keep it half down and have it come back up again and not have it clip (not without vertex animation anyway).
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted February 7, 2018 Cool, got a vid of that? And yeah, we did get an ingame vid working long ago and it worked fine to me, no clue why we never used it. I'm fairly sure it should be easy to make workable since the conversation is now EH-locked anyway considering her "You would lock me away on THIS SHIP" response. Provided the new model wont ruin other segments.
DarthParametric 3,782 Posted February 7, 2018 Leaving aside the audio, to have it all in-game it should just require adding a new appearance.2da row for the 2 handed evil Kreia, add a new UTC using that appearance and with a unique tag, and edit the script to call that. I haven't re-keyed the animation to test the hood folding (and staying) all the way fully down as yet, no. I did mess around with some minor half-way position adjustments/tweaks though, which is how I came to that conclusion.
