Will this mod campatible with the german version of Kotor 2, and if it will be, are there german dialogs?

It will be possible to make it compatible with no-english versions using language converter tool (people were using this a lot for TSLRCM 1.4[beta], back when it was first released, long before the translation).

The dialogs would still appear in english, though. It's too early to say if it will be possible to translate everything, since there's really lot of text on a planet, and it's just too much work for me to export it all for others to make translations. However, if someone was to export and translate dlgs and tlk files on their own, and then put it back in game, I would be willing to release it as a "patch".

One thing on which I'm very curious about: Will "M4-78EP" contain the "Exile's Death/Sion vs. Nihilus" plot, or it is Lord of Hunger's "GenoHaradan Revision" which will have it?

No, because that is not actally part of the M4-78 mod and that was just add in the other version because Stoney was not going to make the GenoHaradan Revisioning mod but luckily Lord of Hunger is doing it

It is not a matter of percentage really. It is a matter of how much problems you encounter or not. Plan wise, there could be a percentage, but that's not really representative of how much work still needs to be put in the mod.

Yeah, me too Seriously though, I don't really have as much time as I'd like, so I can either spend what little time I have on writing a progress report or scripting stuff into game. I chose scripting. Section I'm working on right now requires really lot of work - details to come!

That being said, I'll post some new screenshots fairly soon. No big progress report until whole 803DRO is done and working, though.

If there was a simple math equation to indicate what is the progress at, I'm sure many modder would use-it. They can always try to estimate, but due to the nature of modding a game, that is nothing but very approximate at best. If you encounter a bug, it may be very long to get a way around. Anyway, as he said, I'd rather he do a little more scripting instead of constant new reports...

If you mean new as in created from scratch, I think the answer is no. If you mean new as in never seen before, I suggest you look more carefully at the screenshot thread within this section.

2) Giving out a percentage done is a trap. Even if in their heads, they had a percentage mapped out, that doesn't take other matters into account - such as bug-removal and beta-testing.

 

Situations like these two can throw off a timeline: Will adding this cutscene over here break something over there? "Such and such modder" can offer their input/modding talents even though he wasn't available before?

lol sorry! i just cant wait to finally see M478! and ive never modded so i have zero experience in that field.

Just be Patience till it's completed. I can't wait till it comes out but I am a patient guy just think of something else
