revan21 22 Posted November 13, 2016 Hello Deadlystream ! After a good year of using the amazing Loot and Immersion by 90SK I decided to try something new in terms of armor mods. Im concerned about the compatibility of these mods: Movie Jedi Master Robes 1.5 Darth Darkus' Armored Robes 1.3.1 Master Jorn Edition L0ki's Jedi Armor Mod Cortosis Armor Merchant Heavy Armor Expansion Peragus Mining Gear Prequel Robe Replacer Unique Upgradeable Clothes Combat Suit Revisited Canonical Mandalore Im gratefull for any advice I get concerning this matter. (This is my first forum post so this might be in the wrong section of the forum)
jc2 581 Posted November 13, 2016 Loki's Jedi mod adds some new armor, but also reskins some of the robes, specifically it says the Jal Shey. Movie Master robes just reskins ONLY all master robes and adds a few. Lastly the Armored robes reskins all robes (master and padawan), which means it will have issues with Movie master robes, those that are reskined will overlap. So this would only be somewhat compatible. I'd suggest not getting the movie master robes, or just pulling out only the uti files that add new robes and ignore the reskin element. Also the prequel robes will have issues with the Armored robes as well because it is only a reskin of the same robes. Not to mention the textures may overlap in odd ways, though that's not something I'm very familiar with. On a glance, all the armor mods should be compatible. For the armor mods, their descriptions are not as detailed as the robes, because they include a larger list that is a bit more diverse than padawan and master robes. So you'll just have to download them and check the readme's for that. In the readme, you should find information about exactly what is added by that mod. My suggestion is to make things easier for you and not get anything that reskins or modifies the same item. Take the largest mod for robes, Armored Robes, and leave the others, this would be the simplest. Hope this helps!
revan21 22 Posted November 13, 2016 Thanks a lot for that extensive reply ! I might pass on Armored Robes now that I know what it replaces. The description made it unclear to me what the mod actually does. So if I leave that mod ou,t I can use the other robe mods, right ? I just did a quick test by extracting the files from the Prequel Robes, Movie Robes and Jedi Armor into the same folder to see if they replace the same files and I got no overwrite messages.

Yes, I would too. I tried using some of the robes that Armored Robes adds and I found it glitches some of the robes.
superSzym 155 Posted November 13, 2016 Armored Robes replace only the padawan robes, so they are fully compatible with Movie Robes.

Thats too bad because they look really awesome. I might try them out on a fresh install if I find the time.
superSzym 155 Posted November 13, 2016 And Canonical Mandalore is fully compatible with almost everything. You can also use Darth Sapiens' 2K Mandalore, it's compatible, although the mask would look awfully blurry in comparison to the rest of the armor. But I know the solution: if you're using BoS:SR for K1, copy MandoMaskTex2 TGA and TXI to your TSL Override folder. I know it works, I tested it all myself and the mask texture and model comes from old Silveredge9's Mandalore Alteration, which mask elements came from BoS:SR. And there's no issue of porting - every element of the mask is custom-made.

I can live with his mask looking a bit bad. One last question regarding the jedi robes: Can I use Darkus Armored Robes with the Jedi Armor mod by L0ki ? They don't seem to share any files. But on the other hand, the Movie Master Robe mod also doesn't share any files with either one of the mods. This has me a bit confused. EDIT: After installing all 3 mods on a fresh TSL install, I couldn't find any issues with the models or textures of these robes. I don't know how the game will handle the distribution of these robes tho.
