chaosstorm88 0 Posted March 9, 2016 I was playing through K1R and stumbled onto something weird. I don't know if it's a bug, or a glitch, or if it is supposed to happen and I just don't understand what is going on. After using the Sith Armor to get get to Lower CIty, I went towards the elevator to Undercity. I was stopped, as expected, and was told I needed the papers, etc. After the converstion ended, the Icon for a Quest Update showed up. When I went to check it, the content of the "The Search for Bastila" quest had changed to: "Taris: I'm <fullname> and I'll beat you easily." Can anyone tell me what is going on? It is whichever version you and... oh, hell, I can't remember their name... damn memory... well, you (FS), and another person helped me out the other day in the Chat... I'm the one who is new to modding and just got steam, and basically needed someone to hold my hand through the downloading process... (does that ring any bells?) Either dump Carth off at the apartment or go back to the apartments for the other suit of armor (go to the cantina for a party if you have already did the interrogation). chaosstorm88 0 Posted March 9, 2016 Oh no, I got to the lower city just fine. There doesn't seem to be any actual problem, other than the Journal Entry. The Journal Entry confused the hell out of me, and searching online yielded no results, so I figured I would post about it here, and hopefully find out what was going on and whether it could be indicitive of a larger problem. If I recall correctly, it is caused by a wrong strref in the installer (and if I recall correctly, I tracked the faulty line and included the results in my bug-report, FS... do some digging in your PMs, will ya? Well, unless you have fixed it already, and the version of the mod in question here is 1.0) which means, it accidentally gives a wrong line for the quest journal. chaosstorm88 0 Posted March 14, 2016 Thanks LiliArch! The version I'm using is 1.1, according to the files I downloaded/extracted. Like I mentioned earlier, I basically have no idea what I'm doing.
