Working Class Hero Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 Rename the wav extensions to mp3 Quote
Guest DH-010 Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 They can also be opened with the 'Miles Sound System' program, without having to rename all the files. I think it comes with the 'Bink RAD Video Tools', which in turn can be used to play the '.bik' movies. If you Google that, it should come up... Quote
Hassat Hunter Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 Rename the wav extensions to mp3 Just remember not to do this with the files itself, but copies, otherwise you might get problems in the game. Both methods work fine. The .wav/.mp3 is handier to listen to multiple files after each other, miles only runs individual files. Quote
Destin Folios Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 I like using VLC (just google those three letters.) It's a media player that has every codec known to man lol. Quote
Sith Holocron Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Might I suggest using the TSL soundtrack decompression method that's described over at MixNMojo? Quote
Markus Ramikin Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 VLC actually has problems with this, at least for me and a friend of mine as well. Which came as a surprise as generally VLC can do anything. I rename the files to .mp3 and then listen to them in Winamp. The ones I want to permanently keep or use/send to someone, I rerecord with Audacity. Quote
ttlan Posted January 3, 2011 Author Posted January 3, 2011 Thank you. I knew the MP3 trick but it did not work on my machine. It took me re-install a codec pack for this to work. It was really the last thing I thought to! TTLan Quote
